Information provided by various external sources

Fence-Aid, the company behind the Post Buddy fence post repair system was founded in 2010 by husband and wife, Wayne and Gaby Phelan. The family business based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, first began in the Phelans’ back garden when a broken fence post caused their fence to lean. Wayne did not relish the thought of digging out and replacing the damaged fence post. He knew that existing products on the market made for back-breaking, time-consuming work. Looking for a quicker, easier solution, Wayne, a former Development Project Manager, came up with new ideas on how to fix a leaning fence.……..and Post Buddy was born. Both Wayne and Gaby committed themselves to their new business venture and Gaby uses her experience as a PA to ensure Fence-Aid’s customers receive top quality service. Together Gaby and Wayne continue to grow and develop the company.

It is effective

It is effective, the instructions are clear and installation is easy. Dome headed screws would be more suitable and look better then the countersunk ones supplied.

Fab easy solution to fence post rot

Speedy delivery and a great product. Watched several YouTube videos to get a good handle on installation. Job went well and an hour later I had a totally secure fence post which had rotted at ground level. Very impressed and any future fence posts which rot will definitely get the Post Buddy treatment. Thank you for a great solution.

Really very good

Easy ordering and very fast delivery.
I was a bit sceptical but have to admit they are excellent. It took 10 minutes to put them in place and the post feels secure. Hopefully they'll last a few years. Will definitely use them in the future

Excellent fast delivery of a superb product. As long as you have concrete under the broken post and hammer in as straight as possible this works very well. Did this a few weeks ago and it’s very sturdy

Brilliant, just what we needed

Ordered two sets of these when our rose trellis began toppling into the neighbour's fence. I ordered on a Friday, expecting them to arrive after the weekend but they came the next day. This meant our son could install them on the Sunday for us. Wonderful! The post buddies were easy to install and came with clear instructions. The trellis posts are now upright and look to remain so for many more years.

Interesting concept and assumes the post has not rotted below ground which in my case one had. Had to dig out as much rotten post as possible after the buddy was in and then filled with post Crete and that did the job.

Amazing product

Well this is a fantastic product. My picket fence blew over and I was all set to get someone in to replace it. Came across these online and thought I’d give them a try. Brilliant service ( arrived next day) and so easy..completed the repair within 30 minutes. The post is solid as a rock! Would not hesitate to use again.
