Scamming deceitful behaviour
This app is very deceitful and disingenuous. I signed up for a free trial, and the app was filled with low-quality creators. I cancelled my trial, however, they still charged me $500 for the next month. They have a very convenient bug in their system which says your trial is cancelled, however, it was renewed and I was charged the full $500. I spoke to Steven, and Ben who weren't very helpful, citing that its part of their Terms & Conditions not to issue refunds, even after I cancelled before the trial. I looked on Twitter and found a lot of business owners have had the same thing happen. Really sad to see how desperate these kids are scamming people for a couple of hundred bucks. I highly suggest you go and use Whop or other platforms, so you don't have the same experience.
The platform is filled with low-quality…
The platform is filled with low-quality creators paid with the absurd fee of $500/month. You're just wasting your money.
On the landing page, it is stated that you can start with $1000, but when you actually sign up, you are required to create a minimum contest of $1500.
You get invited to a Slack group, but your messages will be left unseen, and you will receive zero assistance from them.
If you're not spending $20k/month, they will not even look at you.
It's not just my experience; a SaaS founder I know also had a similar experience, but I tried it anyway, thinking how bad it could be.
They will trap you with a 1-month free trial, and if you forget to cancel and get charged. They will not respond to you if you ask for a refund. I WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM THEM.
Discriminated against and was not paid…
I’ve been posting on TikTok and joined Posted for their contests. Let me say this loud and clear: THIS APP IS RACIST. I once got over 200,000 views on a video, and instead of acknowledging my hard work, they accused me of buying views and removed me from the contest. Meanwhile, I’ve seen white creators with regular 500-view videos magically hit 100K on Posted, nothing happens to them.
I even WON $1,000 by ranking NUMBER ONE in one of their contests, and guess what? I DIDN’T GET PAID.
They asked me to get on a call and basically told me I wasn’t allowed to use a VPN, something that’s NOT even in their rules. Then they told me to stop entering contests and claimed I manipulate views. What kind of app has different standards depending on your skin color?
If you’re Black, don’t waste your time here. They push white creators and punish Black ones for winning. I’m tired, and I’m done with this platform.
Cares about revenue, not customers
Steven cares about revenue, not customers. I paid thousands of dollars for the contest promotion on Posted & was given very lackluster results. I have an ai music marketing & creation app & chose technology for the target market. You are not able to see which creators they have on platform prior to running a campaign. If I had known beforehand, I never would have paid them. They maybe had 1 creator out of the dozen or so that submitted that were even remotely in the target I was going for. Creators that clearly make lackluster videos. Your money is much better spent doing ads on Meta or Google. The support is also horrible. Once they know you won't be spending any more money with them they'll stop responding. It took over 7 days for them to answer a simple support question I had and they are not available via email, only Slack. Stay far away if you want to do business with an integral company & owner.
