I always buy my clay from Potterycrafts, it arrives in good condition and is lovely to use. I also use a wide selection of glazes from here. I’ve had a couple of tight deadlines to meet recently and P... See more

Misrepresentation of item sold.
The item I received did not match the description on the website. The description misrepresented the item sent. This was poor quality and was unable to perform as described. After a telephone call I was informed that this item was from a different supplier. I have returned the item and understand my money will be returned. Communication regarding the refund has been inadequate.

Good products delivered promptly
Good products delivered promptly. Wanted to order from Potterycrafts again for workplace 5 mins away but delivery was over £30 and so had to find an alternative supplier.

Extremely poor customer service
Be aware that they don’t stick to delivery advertised. I needed something urgently the next day so I followed all the instructions on their delivery page, paid for next day delivery and made sure the order was placed before the 12pm cut off time on Thursday. The parcel didn’t even arrive until the following Monday.
I emailed asking why it wasn’t dispatched same day as advertised, I got a phone call back and was just fobbed off with excuses of if I wanted it dispatched same day I should have ordered earlier even though she acknowledged I ordered before their cut off time. Not even a proper acknowledgment that it was clearly an error or issue on their part just made out that it’s down to me to order earlier.
Very disappointed with the experience, as they can’t deliver what they advertise I would order elsewhere going forward.

PAINFULLY SLOW with no customer service.
If you want something by Christmas, you'd better order it in July. Still waiting for my 3rd order after a month. The last 2 orders took more than a month to arrive as well.
Thankfully I have now found an alternative supplier.
Terrible customer service
Terrible! My order arrived and glaze had spilt every and the clay bag had been punctured numerous times by the metal staples on the box. I emailed immediately with photos on 13th Nov 21 and still not had a response 12th January! Will never use again.
terrible service
terrible service! this is a joke not a company.
they don't answer emails, they ship extremely late.
rude and patronizing when we complain to them
read other reviews ,this is a common issue with this company
seems like they want to go out of business!

I’ve ordered regularly from Potterycrafts for 30 years. They’ve got a lot of products and, like all the ceramic suppliers, items will go out of stock especially during these post Brexit and Covid times. But they always go out of their way to advise and supply a similar item and explain how it will do the job I want. I recently had enormous problems with my electrical supply and the kiln department were incredibly helpful in making sure I could guide my electrician to put the problem right and how to successfully reprogram my kiln in the meantime.
Zero customer service
I ordered a product ten days ago and still have not heard when I am due to receive it, despite asking via email. No answer to customer service emails. I see that I am not the only person having a problem with this company. Pottercrafts bought Alec Tiranti, which was where I ordered the product. What a disgrace to have bought a decent company and then shame the name with terrible customer service like this. If I had known that it would take this long, I would never have purchased it and I emphasised in my email that it was important for my work to receive this yet still no response. Who can run an online business like this these days?
Awful company
Awful company!
Spent £1400 on a new wheel. Was quoted 3-5 days, possibly up to ten with covid. No problem at all that's to be expected.
Well two weeks in and I haven't heard one word from them. Call yo chase up the order and have a very rude woman ask me if there's a day I want it by? Funnily enough I want it when I ordered it.
I'm then told it would be dispatched today and arrive Tuesday. Tuesday comes and still nothing so I call again.
This time she tells me no it hasn't been disputed and won't arrive for another week? No sorry, no email, nothing.
This wasn't a £20 bag of clay order it was a very large item that I arranged my week around the delivery. Only to have it not show up and everybody I deal with be extremely rude!
Just avoid. They aren't that much cheaper then bath potters and bath potters have amazing service. As do blue match box.

I was taken in by the cheap pricing of products on the website and ordered a few items, hoping that they would arrive within the next few days. 10 days later and still no sign of my order, I called their service number to ask if they could tell me when I could expect the delivery to arrive. The woman I spoke to then told me that my order had not even been packaged to be shipped. She said that I would have to spend £30 to have it delivered, which there was no clear indication of on the website, and on my order slip the Carriage cost was £0. When I expressed frustration at being misled like this, she told me I could arrange a Postal Carrier service myself if I wanted to. I cancelled my order and will never be returning as a customer. I found their service to be disappointing. They are not transparent about costs, and judging by the exchange I had with them, don't seem particularly concerned about customer satisfaction.
Awful company who think they can deceive customers.
They told me all items were in stock but my order was short with no explanation. I called and was told the remainder of my order would be with me shortly but when pressed they told me it was out of stock, they then said it would be 4 weeks. I asked to cancel the order and get a refund. The works manager then called and claimed I can’t cancel the order and tried quoting his terms and conditions. I returned the order but then they use every excuse not to refund.
I see from recent comments on Trustpilot that I am not the only customer having problems. I am sure their parent company Ceradel do not know what is going on.

I placed an order for a small item that I kind of expected the delivery to be the next day or two.
On day 5 I called to check on progress which they assured me they would check up and dispatch asp. Day 7 came and went for postage. I then called to check again. The person said that it isn't dispatched yet but the would get it out on day 10 for. Delivery possibly on today 11. I requested 24 hr courier service which was declined/ refused. I said that this is unacceptable and cancelled pled the order. I am now without my item that I needed for a commission deadline. Thank you potterycrafts. Good job !!
Brilliant for pottery crafts !
This company has a great range of pottery related craft supplies. They have something suited for everyone ( i bought some Duncan's glazes from them), including products that are often only available in the USA.
Their prices are very fair and their sales section is excellent ( i ended up buying some items i didn't actually need because the prices were so tempting!). The only complaint i would have about this company is that i didn't receive a dispatch notice and they were a little slow on their posting - but their packaging was excellent as they used a very strong box and a lot of packing peanuts !!
