Picking up a robotic dog for my little one from my local poundworld.store and was thinking it'd be a nice surprise. Got it home, put batteries and it barely moved. When it did, it made a horrid grinding noise. I tried changing the batteries, but it didn't make a difference. Took it back and got a replacement, but the second one has a similar issue. I spent ages going back and forth to the shop with no joy. Total waste of time and money.

Bought a USB in car charger for my phone as going on a long journey and wanted to use my phone as a GPS. Plugged my phone into it and it would just switch off after a few seconds, tried a different USB cable and even my powerbank and all the same. Took it back to Poundword who swapped it for another which was exactly the same. Wasted about an hour of my life going to and from the shop to keep swapping them out
