I have bought Powerbreath Classic MR (i live in Greece) to help me lower my BP. I am using it for three weeks now, doing 30 breaths / twice every day.
Allthough i like the experience using it and i am allready in level 2, i havent notice any change in my BP readings. Maybe it is too early?

The training regimen of 30 breaths twice a day is the scientifically proven regimen for improving breathing strength and stamina.
Researchers at the University of Colorado discovered that a more challenging stimuli is required for lowering blood pressure, so it is best to follow their specific training programme for lowering blood pressure.

POWERbreathe results after 4 weeks
It's only been 4 weeks but POWERbreathe asked for a review. So here are MY preliminary thoughts.
Me: 71 year old male, very fit
Device: POWERbreathe IMT Plus, Heavy Resistance...yes, I should have gotten Light or Medium but Heavy has been a good challenge.
Training: Inhale when standing upright. Take a deep, hard breath. It took me 3 weeks to get the breathing down. 3X per day initially but now 2X per day.
Max Inspiratory Pressure (MIP): 108 to start, now 127
MIP. cmH2O by week: 1) 66; 2) 78; 3) 96; 4) 102
Benefits: my PCP noted improved kidney function (CO2 lower in blood test); blood pressure seems to be more stable and lower (132/78 to 125/70)...too soon to declare victory.
Summary: If you put in the effort and commit to it long term, I think POWERbreathe can have many, very important benefits in vascular health. But I won't be able to document those for another 6-8 weeks.

Unaceptable delay between placement of order and any confirmationn
It took several days between when I placed the order and I received any confirmation/feedback that my order had been received and was in progress. This is not up to the standard of other online ordering companies.

We see that your order was placed after hours on Thursday 18th January and therefore processed on Friday 19th January; then despatched from our US distributor after the weekend on Monday 22nd January. I'm sorry that the time difference may have contributed to the time delay and that the processing of your order fell over the weekend, but our US distributor did attend to your order as quickly as possible.

I just purchased a breather from POWERbreathe and bought the wrong one by accident. I contacted them by email and they were so helpful, providing personalized service to exchange it for me. I'm giving it a 4 because I haven't…
I'm giving it a 4 because I haven't reached the goal I set for myself but when I do, I will edit to 5. With the device, the daily practices seem to be helping. I can use more improvement but it does help. Without Powerbreathe, I would not be able to achieve this improvement. I will continue until I feel really "strong."

It's always better to perfect the technique, rather than lift a weight that is too heavy, with poor technique ;)

Powerbreathe has enabled my fight for life
I received my Powerbreathe three days earlier than Royal mail had advised.
A decade or two ago I purchased a Philips model that was probably the equivalent of the light Powerbreathe which I could use at the maximum easily so after comparing models online, I chose this Powerbreathe to try to improve my lung function after being refused life saving surgery because of my lung condition. I am starting on level 2 and my fight back has begun.

That small change might make the difference. The 'shaking' feeling promotes a cough which will expel any mucus.
