Ordered 4 Gardening tools advertised as in stock and 48 hours delivery at a cost of £17, after a week I enquired about my order and was told there was a delay on one item, another week later nothing, never sent out what they did have and zero communication.
I asked to be refunded, they are doing and their attitude is they really don’t care!!
I wouldn’t bother, they might advertise cheaper but service is atrocious.

I would give zero stars if possible, paid £5.95 for “next day delivery on an item that cost £3.95. Still waiting for goods, 3 days later! Shocking customer service - no response to email or phone calls. Last time I use this company, and recommend others to take note of my unpleasant experience with this company.

I paid for arris brackets for two day delivery they turned up a week later no good to me, had to buy them locally

I got my goods as described (eventually) . I ordered my goods on Sunday evening but did not receive until Saturday , I didn’t receive any confirmation or correspondence regarding the dispatch or receipt of my order and when I phoned on numerous occasions there was no reply , I also emailed for an update but got no response.

Easy ordering, received my parcel in excellent condition, well wrapped!

Very happy apart from the long delivery it took

I bought a good value, very strong, plastic rubble pan and hand rake, which I use mostly in the fields for horses 'poo picking'. I have had one for years, it has not broken, I just wanted to make sure I had another, in case they stopped making them!

Quick and professional

When the package arrived the box had torn open and was empty except for the padding paper. I took some photos and sent them to the company. They investigated with the delivery company to try to understand what had happened but in the meantime they sent out replacement products which arrived without any problems. Excellent customer service.

Read the reviews and await to receive the delivery but the user experience on the website was pretty smooth and easy. Found everything I was looking at competitive prices

It was my first time buying from Power Tools Direct and definitely won’t be my last, i bought 3 Purdy scrapers and wasn’t disappointed as they was delivered so fast , it was a very easy transaction with no fuss whatsoever,

Delivery hasn't arrived, no communication at all. Tried calling, emailing, left messages and still nothing. Paid for express delivery and now cannot get in touch with them in any way. Poor service, will not use again

Your service was fine but DX not so. I moved my delivery to Wed 18th as I was away Mon and Tuesday am, they confirmed this on Sun 15th. They still delivered on Mon 16th and said they had left it with a neighbour. When I arrived home today it was just left outside my back door. Anyone could have taken it. Regards, Chris.

It took 3 emails to get a response from this company over a simple delivery , the item was late with no explanation

trying to enquire about stock levels, but their phone line is always disconnected and they do not reply to emails, seems like phising advertising competetive rates without being able to confirm availability answer phone calls ore reply to emails

Items were as described. Although happy with product postage was slightly delayed

Good price for the specific item I wanted. Delivery time was OK. Communications excellent. Would happily use this company again.

I’m almost reticent to not give a higher review of PowerToolsDirect, as they do actually ‘do what they say on the tin’.

The prices are amongst the best I can find, and they stock a wide range of products.

The only reason I’m not able to give a 5* review, is they are frankly quite slow to despatch their items.

I know we live in a world of Amazon next day (or even same day) delivery, and for a smaller company like PTD to try and match that would be impossible. However, other small companies I deal with can still despatch within a day or two.

My latest order and previous order took several days from order to despatch (and then in the hands of delivery companies even longer of course).

So my review would probably be, excellent products, wide range, reasonable price, but sadly, slow despatch.

I queried my last order’s despatch date (having paid for the faster service) and although the reply was business like and not rude, the email was quite ‘curt’ and pointed me to the terms and conditions. Which again, I thought in the modern world of customer service, wasn’t the best experience.

So all in all, a happy customer, my order arrived, but it did keep me waiting quite a lot longer than I would have hoped.
