Worst product I have ever experienced. Customer service and dispatch all good until we installed the unit. Cannot hold Bluetooth connection, cannot play radio while streaming, cannot connect or switch Bluetooth carriers, freezes screen so you have to stop, switch off engine, open door and then switch back on again and mebbe, only mebbe it will reboot again. Worst product I have wasted money on …. and over a grand!! Can’t get anyone to help - wish I could drive the 12 hours to Brisbane to get some help but I suspect they are a scam too…. I never leave reviews but warn people DO NOT BUY this product!

I bought a new head unit for my 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500 4x4.

It fitted up perfectly and worked well straight away.

However, I wasn't happy that it didn't have a decent size TIME display that I could easily see whilst driving. It does have a very small display in the top right corner, but not easy to read at 100k/h.

I sent in a request and Patrick researched the possibilities with the tech people. Within 24 hours, Patrick got back to me with very clear, concise instructions on how to achieve my desired screen set-up.

Premium head units or Beaumer Technologies
These guys are rogues and their products are rubbish
They are not suited to the vehicle as the head unit does not come with a fascia to suit as advertised
They have no build in android auto or car play
The unit cost $1200.00 and was a $200.00 unit from Allied Express
There is no brand and no serial number
The unit was sent from China, on the custom declaration it was described as a sample with a value of $100.00 US
There are no fitting instructions they told me to go on you tube to find something
I quickly advised them of the problems and requested to return the unit
After several emails requesting an address to send it back to I finally got an address
It turned out to be a used car yard on the Gold Coast with to association with Premium Head units
I then placed the matter in the hands of The Office Of Fair Trading
They contacted them with no real results as they do not have a contact in Australia
I did send the head unit back to the address they gave me and I did receive a refund less 20% restocking
The guy that runs the show is Patrick and claims that the Premium head units is based in the US and there products are manufactured in China for them

The head units are fraught with issues and of low quality. Sound quality from the microphone supplied is very poor too. Requested my money back otherwise I threatened to go to Fair Trading. They kept 20% 'restocking fee' I pity anyone who buys this garbage head unit.

I have read the previous reviews and went through their website and can see how all the negative reviews are a true reflection of the service provider

I was after a new head unit for my Hyundai that had Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I found Bauemer who are based in QLD so thought it better to go with an Australian supplier instead of Ali Express. I asked many questions about the head unit prior to purchasing, ensuring it would be compatible with my car. I was told it was compatible so I went ahead and bought it.

The major issues I've had with this supposedly 'compatible' head unit are:

1) Constant battery drain due to incorrect canbus. Despite turning the car completely off, the head unit was still powered on and stayed powered on (i.e. it never shut down). I managed to fix this myself after re-wiring the canbus to ensure it was getting the correct ACC signal for the head unit to turn off when the car wasn't running.

2) The factory reverse camera doesn't work. I tried all the different settings, but after some trouble-shooting, there was no slot or adaptor for the factory loom to plug into the Bauemer head unit. I told them this and their response was for them send me one of their cameras for me to install.

3) The audio fade doesn't work. Only stereo plugs are supplied so there is no front / back, only left / right. So audio fade doesn't work at all. If you try and fade to the rear, you're just left with no sound.

4) The microphone is AWFUL making it almost impossible to make hands-free calls.

To Bauemer's credit, they have been responsive to my problems / questions, however are unwilling to offer a refund or fix the problems correctly. So at the end of the day, despite them being responsive, they've still been very misleading and sold me something that wasn't truly compatible with my car.

After some doing some research, Bauemer sell exactly the same units that you can buy off Ali Express for half the price. So, take my advice and do that instead.

Satisfied with the cooperation, got the delivery quickly enough, it came just what I needed!

Scammer, will ghost you after you pay

Do not use! These guys are Aliexpress drop-shippers that try to appear as a big international company. The fact that they are not com.au and have no ties to Australia should have been a warning sign. I have lost $1400 to their unscrupulous business practices after which they disappeared like vapour trails. Disgraceful.

Do not trust this company, they have no customer service. The refused a refund when unit purchased was not suitable. No option to resolve just a clear no refund even when they have a policy for 20% restock fee. They hadn't even dispatched the unit when I requested the cancel refund.
