I had taken many practice ACT tests and courses in the past, and continuously was unable to understand the reading section of the test. I then participated in a weekend review course by Ethan Moy who enlightened me on many tips and ideas to think about with the reading section and I finally understand how to properly aproach the problems and am consistently getting questions correct.

My experience with this program was phenomenal. I went through numerous difficult ACT practice tests, and the teacher helped our whole class with the problems we did not understand. This class has no rush to it whatsoever - and helped us reflect on our personal academic goals. I truly believe it can turn an unmotivated student into an academic powerhouse. Get ready for some of the best advice on the ACT ever!

It was a great course! I did the six week ACT course with Ilia Kolmagorov. I learned many strategies, had numerous opportunities for practice tests and questions, and he was quite engaging during class. I believe the strategies I learned in this course will help me when I take me next test.

I took the Prep Expert 6-Week Flagship ACT Course, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my test prep journey. I was a bit skeptical at first, but from week one, the structure, clarity, and energy of the course completely exceeded my expectations.
The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. They didn’t just go through the content; they explained why certain strategies work, broke down the thinking behind each section, and gave us plenty of opportunities to practice in a way that stuck. I especially appreciated the pacing strategies for reading and the grammar rules for English; things that once felt overwhelming became clear and manageable.
The course materials were also top-notch. The weekly homework kept me accountable, and the real ACT practice questions helped me feel more confident and prepared each week.
My only advice is to stay consistent and make time for the homework and review sessions, the course gives you the tools, but your effort matters too.
Highly recommend this course to any student serious about improving their ACT score!

The material covered in the course was very helpful and my practice test scores got better every time. The only reason I am not submitting 5 stars is I feel my teacher could have been slightly more engaging, but he seemed very knowledgeable and very encouraging to the class.

Lots of practice material/content review

My instructor was Miguel Chavira. My very first practice test for the ACT (at the beginning of this course) was a 26. By the end of this class, I got a 33! I am super happy with the results I got out of this class. I also enjoyed how open/patient Mr. C was to answering the MANY questions I had.
Not only did I learn the actual material and strategies needed to help me succeed, but I also believe that it helped discipline me into what it means to be a great student! Would recommend!

Prep Expert has provided me with the best ways to approach the ACT, utilizing over 100 strategies and 10 practice and homework tests. My teacher, Miguel, has been the best not only in teaching the course but also understand our emotions and helping us cope with the ACT.

I slowly but steadily improved my score from the low 20s to a 33. My teacher, Mr. Miguel, was an awesome teacher who always answered every question I asked with a kind response. I would recommend Prep Experts to my classmates in the coming year.

There were so many available resources to study for the ACT - 10 total tests! Plus, Mr. Miguel Chavira (my teacher) was very proficient and experienced, and he was helpful to me and my classmates, making sure any questions we had were answered. These all made studying for the ACT easier and more achievable.

What I found incredibly helpful is that rather than just saying strategies and teaching content, Miguel tried out the problems and practiced examples with those ideas in mind. He also explained his thinking every step of the way and made it easy to follow his thought process. Overall, he made it easy to think about the challenges in an optimized way, and he did a great job teaching this course!

GREAT COURSE. the teacher was super welcoming of any and all questions in a class with over 50 kids. Managed to thoroughly answer all questions even with so many kids. Gave great tips not only about the SAT, but also general test tips and life tips. Made me want to study more, decrease procrastination, and study much more efficiently. Everyone, regardless of current score or desired score should take this course

Even just a 6-week course did wonders for my SAT score! My instructor, Ms. Taylor Trautwein, guided our filled class and taught suitably for everybody in the class. My score improved by almost 200 points, and the course was sooo worth it. The coursework included practice tests, quizzes, and so many materials that I was able to use to improve. My teacher was really good at explaining the material and allowed us to do every practice question on our own during the class which I felt gave me better exposure. I just didn’t like it when I had a sub.

This is the best, most engaging SAT course I've ever used. I have participated in multiple courses before Prep Expert and I can confidently say this is the best course I've used so far. My instructor, Taylor Trautwein, was extremely helpful throughout the entire course. She was readily available outside class hours and did everything in her power to help her students succeed. Taylor also made the classes feel short and fun and found ways to keep us engaged throughout the 3 hour course. Overall, the course was fun and engaging, and I feel extremely prepared to take the SAT later this year.

My instructors during the 6-week flagship course were Taylor Trautwein and Raghav Mahajan. Taylor did an incredible job explaining the content, especially in areas where I felt unfamiliar. I enjoyed the classes because they felt very engaging and authentic to Taylor's teaching style, and I became increasingly confident after each practice we did. I improved significantly through this course, and the strategies taught were straightforward to understand and apply. Nothing felt too overwhelming, and the instructors never made you feel bad for not understanding a concept. I believe Taylor helped to create a fun learning environment in which I was able to learn while also having fun and enjoying my time. These classes, which can be up to 3 hours long, offer truly beneficial content, and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Prep expert is a good way to help improve your SAT score. My instructor was Ms. Taylor Trautwein and she was a very nice instructor who made the lessons engaging as she could. I liked that this course had a LOT of practice as it helped me improve my score. I would recommend this for others. I do think that there could be more focus in some areas such as harder math questions but it is more of a preference. Overall worth it and cheaper compared to other SAT tutors/classes.

I improved my SAT score by 300 POINTS, and I owe it all to Taylor Trautwein’s incredible teaching. I started as an average student with no motivation, but Taylor’s energy, relatable personality, and engaging style completely changed my mindset. I started studying for the SAT very late. I took one full length practice and did absolutely awful, way under average. That's why my parents knew they had to sign me up for Prep Expert. My instructor, Taylor Trautwein, wasn't just brilliant and an incredible teacher, she cared so much about us too and was dedicated to making studying as fun as possible. Not only did we get innovative tips from the course, but Taylor Tips with fun little creative tibits to use. I'm excited for the next course I'll be doing with Prep Expert, taught by the founder.

This course was an absolute life changer. My score from the PSAT`s was extremely low, and honestly it really bummed me out. Then, my parents introduced the idea of taking an SAT prep course, and I was hesitant at first, but I ended up agreeing. I chose the course with the Instructor Ms. Taylor Trautwein and she was an absolutely incredible teacher, who would work at the pace of the students to help us all improve our score. She would thoroughly go through each Prep Expert strategy, and it helped me implement these strategies into the future tests and homeworks that I would do to improve my score. Quickly within the first two weeks my score jumped about 100 points, and now I have seen almost a 300 point improve from just a 6-week course.
