Very helpful I just wish there were in-person options offered as well as online for those of us who prefer in-person

Knowing I have full support during a personal emergency is a huge relief. My user experience is wonderful. Preply's positive customer service makes all the difference and I'm truly grateful.

The teaching was good, I liked my tutor, but I felt scammed by the payment. I thought I was paying for 12 lessons, but actually I ended up being billed monthly - so I paid an exorbitant amount for those 12 lessons!! I know have 12 lessons in expiry which I have to use up with a certain date or will lose them. Be really careful, you are not buying a package but a subscription. I felt really scammed when I realised.

Amazing customer service, which keeps me coming back. Tutors are great and it’s a great platform.

i am a teacher in preply and it very fun meeting new people, support is very useful in solving classroom conflicts, i recommend it.

9$/ lesson to start out, you don’t get paid for first “trial” lessons, (which students exploit) but Preply does. Then, Preply takes 30%. I taught 8 lessons without seeing a dime, and when I would have started getting paid, it would have been 6.30$ an hour. After 4 hours of English lessons (1.25 hours if you’re actually prepping for lessons), you’re getting a little over 20$. In what world is this ok? Finally, raised my price to the actual, realistic market price for a private English tutor, and no one books. No thank you 🙂

If I don’t feel comfortable with a particular teacher, I look for and try another one.

I’m learning two languages on Preply, I’m seeing results, and I’m very satisfied.

The site is clear and easy in use, you can choose any teacher who suits you. I have a great teacher for learning Korean language.
There are many options to choose, if you cant or need a break, you can change your schedule with one click.

I have been using Preply for two years and find it very useful. The teachers are excellent, the lesson times are flexible, and the level of the lessons is perfect for me.

As a tutor, my experience with Preply has been very positive. The platform gives good visibility to tutors, and I’ve been receiving enough students consistently. For someone living in a third-world country, Preply has created a great opportunity to earn money online and connect with students from around the world.

One thing I especially appreciate is the support team. Whenever I’ve had a problem or needed help, they responded very quickly and handled the issue professionally. Their support is responsible, fast, and reliable.

Overall, Preply has been a very helpful and valuable platform for me both professionally and financially.

I have already invested 3 hours trying to actually have a full class with two trials to no avail. First time neither of us could enter to classroom. When we finally made it two weeks later, my student lost connection at minute 29. My second student could hear me though I couldn't.
By now it's been more giving without getting anything in change.

The teacher asked me to transfer money to her personal account, and unfortunately, I trusted her. After that, she disappeared, sent me several insulting messages, and blocked me. I reported the situation to Preply and provided all the evidence. They said they would take action, but later removed my feedback, so the teacher still has a 5-star rating. This is unfair and misleading to other students.
Any ideas what to do? That’s unfair to students and other teachers
