Let me start with the positives. Yes it’s from the bnf but condensed to help you understand. Now I wish they gave us acronyms (more of them…there’s barely any) to help us learn. It’s not very interactive and yes you’re paying less that what most others would cost but not worth the money. At this rate I could have just learnt it from the bnf.
Now…. What annoys me is that there’s outdated stuff….how can you do that? Our futures depend on this. There’s a few examples I have found where I have to change their notes since it’s been updated and there’s been new guidelines etc. take epilepsy for example. So much of it was out of date…. In fact the links they provide under the video directly takes you to nice where it says it’s been updated. I am super annoyed. I have to waste extra time to now add the right bits to the notes. Just pay extra and save yourself the hassle. Boring course, out of date content. Cheaper yes but not worth the hassle.

The most comprehensive course out there for foundation trainees. All I studied from was the Pre Reg Master Dashboard and made sure I did 10-20 Qs a day using the the Pre reg Master App during the course of my foundation training year.

The clinical notes and the flow diagrams made life so much easier. I don’t think people realise how up to date the notes were I was extremely impressed by how frequently updates were made and by how representative the clinical paper was in comparison to the real exam.

I only dropped a handful of marks on the clinical exam and this was no doubt thanks to excellent content and support I was able to get from the pre reg master team.

There is nowhere else you will find a condensed easy to digest library of OTC and Law videos. Trust me I’ve looked around.

The OTC pictures and summary slides helped me so much especially when it came to skin conditions because everything looks so similar

I really enjoyed using pre-reg master! Each chapter of the BNF is split according to the relevant topics. Information is up-to-date. Good combination of auditory and visual learning on the website. The App provides you with questions to help consolidate your learning and it helps you focus your revision on topics you are struggling with. Very easy to use!

Great help during the prereg year, wouldn't have been able to pass without it. In my opinion the best course - very detailed and up to date information unlike other courses

No explanations just a video of someone reading the BNF - may as well read it yourself
Videos were loads of written information, rather than animations
Videos can’t be played on phone, only on desktop so can’t be used as a podcast to listen to while you’re doing something else
Hugely overpriced for what it is

I started using this as the app back in 2021 and loved it but when they started using the dashboard, it was 10/10.

Very clear and easy to understand notes. Also the mock exams was SOOOO helpful for the online registration assessment. If you can put some money aside for this I would advise too.

Mock exams had good format which replicated quite well how the actual pre–registration exam was like, however the quality of the questions for calculations were extremely difficult and unrealistic. This can put students in apprehension if not performing well. However, the clinical paper was very good.

OTC units, clinical and calculations tutorial were all super useful and the mock was helpful in preparation for the exam! Pre reg master has been great help for my revision

The mock was cheap in comparison to others however the marking took a long time and was not accurate (amendments were made after the paper had been marked). The mock was especially difficult especially when compared to RPS or boots.

In summary: 100% worth it.

As a trainee pharmacist, studying for your registration exam is extremely daunting. You are told you are to ‘learn the BNF’ with no clear and concise guidance on what is meant to be learnt. For those who have held the BNF - ‘learning the BNF’ is simply not feasible when working full time. The registration exam tests your knowledge on being able to learn and extrapolate necessary information from the BNF.
Pre Reg Master delivers the content required to pass the registration exam using clear, concise and bite sized videos. The owners are always on deck to answer any questions and their help and support has been invaluable in helping me pass my exam today.
For any trainee who is in any doubt on how to approach the registration exam, and how to study - Pre Reg Master is the dashboard you are looking for.

This has been my best friend for the pre-registration year. Thank you to everyone who helped develop this product, clearly a lot of hard work has gone into it. My favourite course out there.

Fantastic website with really condensed information that’s needed for effective revision during a time-constrained foundation training year, saves a massive amount of time and information is represented clearly and in a manner that’s easy to digest and understand

I completed the June 2022 assessment and felt very confident in my clinical paper thanks to pre reg master. It saved me hours of time, skimming through the BNF and NICE guidelines. All the important information was available in bite sized videos and I was able to concentrate my efforts on past papers! Definitely recommend to any new pre regs and those sitting the November sitting. IT MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE

Their page has good content 8/10 but their business is based on a pyramid scheme where you invite your friends to join their website the referrer collects a quarter of the money.

Their website is relativity easy to use but there has been unexplained/unexpected outages on their website during the last month before the exam.

The dealbreaker for me, their support to their customers is a hit or a miss. Sometimes you get a reply but most of the time you don’t. Especially when messaging via social media. For a service provider FOR pre reg students I believe students should have the right to have answers to their questions instead of just chucking you with pre recorded lectures and hoping for the best.

10/10 would recommend for trainee pharmacist. The videos are short and divided into BNF chapters so its easy to find the topic you want to cover. Also has up to date information such as the T2DM updated guidelines
