A Very good alternative search engine

A very good search engine which is an alternative to the big players surveillance capitalism. The search results are excellent. I am sure that the poor rates here on Trust Pilot will be history when users are able to withdraw their tokens more smoothly. That will be possible before the end of October 2021.

Presearch is a free decentralized…

Presearch is a free decentralized search engine for everyone. Being part of your big project you can run nodes, use word staking and get rewarded for searches. Its CEO is the most committed to the community. I love Presearch

Presearch is a complete scam

Presearch is a complete scam, i have had a "withdrawal" pending since 4/25/21 & they link to dispute it doesn't even work. They claim you can request to cover the fees yourself but that link is also vanished. DO NOT deposit any $ to them or waste your time

Not Recommended

As others have said already: presearch is a SCAM. Stay away from it. I've used it for a long time and it has never let me take out the tokens that I've supposedly won from using the search engine.
First they started changing the rules to make it harder to take the money, and it was progressive changed as I was aproaching the minimum amount to be able to retrieve my money. Then they simply stopped any withdraw with the excuse that "ethereum chain prices are too high".
Presearch should be sued and its creators should be arrested!

Passive Income

I have now been using Presearch for over a year and half. No issues and I have accumulated a fair bit of PRE. It's just one of the best ways to earn passive income for just using an engine. Real decentralization is happening and I absolutely love it.

It is a scam, fraud,

It is a scam, fraud, they have not answered since February I claim the payment ... I wrote down the channel they have on telegram and I wrote if they have paid someone.
Someone who tries to deceive new users by selling presearch, answers me the same as always and automatically they prohibited me from writing on telegram !!!!
It seems like a joke ..... they sell on telegram that they are good, etc. and they don't actually pay anyone and cheat the unwary. Is a lie

Dubious about the future of this one

Used it for a few weeks in replacement for my usual search engine, in tandem with Brave browser. Seemed to be okay. Rewards are pretty low and the withdrawal limit is high, but it's to be expected since they want to try and keep users around instead of getting a lot of hit and quit.

Well after a couple of weeks I had only like 50 tokens. Only half of that counts towards the minimum amount you need to withdraw at PRE Level 5. So I have 25 towards that 1000 minimum threshold. At that rate, I'll need to use the engine for about 80 weeks to withdraw any tokens. That's like a year and a half. That's pretty rough. I mean I get trying to limit abuse of rewards but honestly that is way over the top. Would it really kill you to let your average user withdraw after like... a few months?

Anyway, it doesn't end there, because after that two weeks of using it legitimately as a search engine and getting a tiny amount of rewards that are so distant in the future to withdraw, they decided to drop my PRE level because they didn't like how I was searching. So now none of my 50 tokens are eligible for withdrawal. Apparently even 80 weeks is too long for these guys to pay out. Apparently my heavy-duty farming of PRE is putting them out of pocket here. At the current rate that's about $3 that I won't be able to even touch for well over a year. But that's firing off some red flags somewhere.

I'd love to hear about anyone who has actually been paid out from this company, because I highly doubt that happens. I suspect that if you got even close to the 2000 PRE you would need to get to touch your rewards, that your PRE Level would somehow be in question again.

Now let's talk about how it actually is as a search engine. My one positive about it is that it actually is a half decent search engine. I mean I've seen a lot of reviews talking it down and saying it's a bad replacement for Google, but from my perspective almost every time I try to get a better result with Google, it just shows me pretty much the same SERP. Of course you miss out on some of the convenient Google features like the sidebar data pulled from site metadata, or business listings. But the actual search results are just as good, if not better at times.

However, there are many other search engine alternatives out there if what you care about is privacy. This is not a space without competition. DuckDuckGo, Qwant and Ecosia are good example. The USP of Presearch isn't really the privacy aspect. It's the rewards aspect. I would say if you're thinking of using it for that, take your time to consider first if you would use it if that didn't exist. Because there's a good chance you may never see any of the rewards they dangle in front of you. Certainly for me the whole thing seems very geared towards making those rewards hard to actually get.

Yeah

Yeah, they want to earn a lot of money without pay a single penny for customers. I've used this platform for 2 years and realized that I'm too stupid to use it that long.

not so serious

I have been using it since over tow years, and because its pretty bad integrated in the webbrowsers I couldent get to use it much. Serious with payments, but technically almost useless engineforces you to use the D-Search engine, which is useless (unless you do many clicks by every search) Website or Searchengine is so bad constructed, its almost painful to use it

Abusive practices and trash service

Abusive practices and trash service

The fact you need 1000 coins to withdraw is ok to avoid people who are not interested in the project, but the team is constantly decreasing the amount of PRE we earn per search(from 0.5 per search to 0.12 with a limit of 30 searchs per day) and they give you an account level that has nonsense(well, It actually does if you notice they are focus on stopping you from getting 1000 tokens). It is literally impossible to reach 1000 tokens in less than a year even if you use the computer a lot. We support the project, but we are not stupid...

On the other hand, is the trash service. Presearch has been working for YEARS, and the service is still a pain. It is like the team is only focused on making people use Presearch to raise the price and become rich with 0 effort.

My advice, run away from Presearch and use your time on serious projects. That is all I can say as a guy who used Presearch for 2 years.
