I've had my property managed by Prestige for over four years and in that time have had nothing but professional service. A few small issues with the property have arisen over this time but on each occasion I have been swiftly notified by the team at Prestige who are then able to call on their wealth of experience and range of contractors to recommend solutions and ensure that any problems are solved quickly and cost effectively. All of the team are friendly and motivated and as such I would highly recommend Prestige to both landlords and tenants to ensure that everyone receives a level of service they deserve when renting a property.

We have used Prestige as our letting agent for the past four years. We now have three rental properties and have found Prestige to be exemplary in all that they do. It has to be one of the most friendly and efficient businesses I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Any queries from tenants are dealt with quickly and professionally. Any bricks and mortar issues are also dealt with rapidly. If I haven’t got contacts for a particular trade Prestige have people who can attack almost every job quickly and at seriously competitive prices. I personally enjoy working with Prestige and trust them implicitly to do what they say they’re going to do. They are definitely way above anyone else in this field in the area. I would recommend Prestige, without hesitation, to both tenants and landlords. They are the best by far.

Our property has been let with Prestige Estates MK for over 2 years, the service has been first class. They are always happy to help and respond quickly to any correspondence. We have had a couple of minor maintenance issues in the property highlighted by the tenant which the team at Prestige have worked with us and their trained professionals to quickly fix. If I had a Granny I would recommend them to her...

Only praise is required for the team at Prestige. A great team of people, always attentive and keen to help. It's easy to praise a rental agent when things are going well, but these guys have proven first hand that they aren't just interested when everything is going well. Through one difficult rental, these guys were absolutely superb and proved that they know their industry exceptionally well. They find new tenants quickly, deal with people fairly and seem to genuinely care about their tenants and landlords. Prestige come HIGHLY recommended.

Prestige rented one of our houses out but failed to properly protect our interests which consequently led to us losing over a thousand pounds in unpaid rent, repairs required to damage caused by the tenant and a lot of aggravation.
Basically, they failed to properly reference the tenants. Had they exercised proper due diligence rather than relying upon the information supplied by the applicant being accurate, they'd have very quickly discovered that this man was the only Director and employee of the Limited company who supplied his work reference and salary details. And shortly after that they'd have realised that the person who supplied his work reference didn't exist and that the company he claimed was employing him had already ceased trading.
Prestige were aware that the applicant would be moving to the property with his partner and child. However they failed to reference or include upon the tenancy agreement the partner. This meant had the relationship broken down and he moved out, we could have potentially been left with a sitting, non-paying tenant. We consider ourselves lucky then that she instead spent the tenancy using our property's address to defraud various banks and financial institutions, online shops, utilities and the local Council out of an awful lot of money. This meant future tenants were harassed by debt collection agencies and bailiffs chasing what she owed and court action. Clearly that's specifically not within Prestige's control, but had both the applicants been properly referenced and tenanted within the agreement, they shouldn't have been accepted so this situation wouldn't have arisen.
They later failed to pay the last month's rent, moved out of the property without informing anyone that they had done so, left the house damaged and in a filthy, dirty state and had hacked down and killed off a number of mature shrubs in the garden. The last month's rent was outstanding, and they owed more than the value of the 4 weeks deposit taken by Prestige in repair and cleaning costs.
The attitude of Prestige at that point, well that of one of the Directors at least, stank - It was their lack of due diligence on our behalf at the beginning of the tenancy that led to this tenant being improperly contracted. But at the point of problems, they refused to communicate to the tenants our express wishes, then the tenant fled the property leaving us entirely exposed.
Prestige claim to take responsibility for landlords' properties. In our case they took all of the control out of our hands, failing to properly reference and contract tenants and when it all went wrong chose that point to throw the ball back at us.
This episode cost us a relatively large sum of money. Would we recommend Prestige? Hell no. Would we recommend any other agents? Nope. They're all the same. Some just have glossier brochures and websites and shinier company cars than others. If you let an agent find tenants and reference for you, you're in their hands and our experience at least shows that apparently means you need to be lucky!
Ultimately you've very little protection when it all goes wrong and none of the control you would have if you let your own property.....And no-one's going to care more about who you do and don't allow to live in your property than you.
We have for the past year used a successful online service to advertise. Houses are advertised in the same places as with traditional agents and costs a fraction of what they charge. The last advert led to a property being successfully let within 24 hours.
We reference our own tenants via a very well know online credit checking organisation and using our own additional simple background checks, and we use a free and highly competent online service to draw up tenancy agreements, inventories and manage rental accounts. It costs us a couple of hours a month, 3 or 4 hours over 2 days during changeovers and delivers us the peace of mind the agents all promise and charge for, but when it comes to delivering during a drama....Well perhaps you've been luckier than us.

I have nothing but 5 star praise for Prestige Estates MK. They have made the process of letting and managing my house so easy. I have had brilliant tenants for 18 months. Prestige organised the letting of my property quickly and very efficiently when my original tenants moved on. They carry out regular inspections, and organise any maintenance needed, but always keep in touch with me about what is going on. Such a pleasant, efficient and friendly group of people to deal with and they take away all the responsiblility. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to employ an excellent Property Management company.

I have experience with a number of letting agents and Prestige are the best of the bunch, they are extremely knowledgeable, work hard to look after both the landlord and tenants’ best interests, but also have the personal touch as well so you know that you will always get great help and service when dealing with them. Where there are have been potentially difficult situations with tenants they always handle the situation extremely professionally and strive to get the best outcome for everyone. Being a landlord for many years and used many agents it has taken some time to finally find an agent like Prestige. They are fast to deal with any issues whether it be with the property or tenant, they always seem to find and execute a fast and suitable solution.
The knowledge they have within the rental business is second to none, which gives me great confidence and peace of mind that my properties are being managed correctly by professionals!

I have over 10 properties spread around the midlands run by 5 different agents. As you would expect, some are better than others, however, Prestige are by far the ones I would recommend to any of my Landlord friends. Not only do they keep me up to date with what's going on and are very hands on in getting 'issues' solved but they ensure the tenants are fulfilling their obligations as too. Invoices are clear and payments made on time - if only all my Agents were as good!

Good guys that are proactive with what they do I use a number of agents around the UK and prestige outshine the rest . I seem to keep tenants longer and have less issues All at very sensible rates

I have been a landlord in and around Milton Keynes for more years than I care to remember! I have also sampled many letting agencies in my time some very good and some not so good. I moved one of my rental properties to Prestige in early 2009 after it had sat empty with the agent at the time. Prestige were exceptionally professional, a joy to do business with and gave me help and advice to get my property let. I have subsequently moved my portfolio of properties to them one by one. The most important thing about Prestige is that I can trust them, and I know all my properties will receive the same level of service (regardless of rent amounts) and will be well looked after. Another important factor for me is to get my rent paid in a timely manner and without having to chase for payments continuously. Prestige have excelled at this and I never have to worry. It just goes to show even a veteran like me, not all agents are the same, take it from someone who has tried many!
