I made a booking with 2 months in…
I made a booking with 2 months in advance.
Paid the deposit and everything.
When arrive to collect the car we got totally different car and different category.
The car i received was with windscreen cracked and did not fit my needs as i have 3 big suitcases, baby chair.
We have the squeeze in the front seat as de boots was not large enough due to the small car we received.
On top off that the amount paid on the collection was the on for the car we booked not for the smaller car that we received.
Do to this they did not respond to my request by email in 2 days as we can not contact anyone by phone to find a workaround about this situation.
Do not recommend as they will not keep the car you are booking and they will give whatever car they have left in exchange and the price you pay will be the one for the car you have booked before.

Total SCAM
We arrived at Benesa airport. Office closed.
We called a number on the door. A guy told us someone was coming 35 minutes later. No apology a man arrives. We drive 6/7km down the road to a yard where there is an office and some cars.
Here we are told our 100% valid credit cards are not acceptable because they are not embossed. We have not had embossed cards for years.
We have paid for the car. We are now asked for €170 for 3 days to hire the car without a security deposit. It's a SCAM.
We are two women, on our own, in the middle of nowhere, we don't speak the language, we have no idea where we are and how to get to our destination.
A very heated discussion takes place with a very aggressive guy who offers to cancel the contract leaving us stranded. Of course we have no option but to pay up and shut up.
I was very unhappy. He followed us out to the car whilst another person was checking if there was any damage. All the time very threatening and menacing.
No one did the usual introduction to the car. How everything works etc.
We were very intimidated and got out of there as quickly as we could after paying the extra charge.
When we returned the car this morning the office was again closed. We left the keys in the post box at 10 am.
What a terrible welcome to Romania! Everyone else was lovely but this is definitely not an above board option!

We would like to clarify that our Băneasa location operates from a rental office situated near the airport, with transportation provided between the airport and our facility.
Regarding the payment card requirements, the need for a physical embossed credit card is clearly stated in the rental conditions and booking voucher for customers choosing the standard rental product with a security deposit. These requirements are not determined at the time of pickup and apply equally to all customers. When the required card is not available, customers may be offered alternative rental products that do not require a security deposit, subject to the applicable fees and conditions.
We are concerned by your comments regarding the interaction with our colleague, as professionalism and respectful communication are standards we expect from all members of our team. We take such feedback seriously and will review the matter internally.
With regard to the vehicle return, outside-office-hours returns are accommodated through our key return box, allowing customers to return the vehicle even when a colleague is not present on-site.
