I recently finished my first series of one-on-one medical coaching sessions with Kim, focused on my thyroidectomy journey, and I can't say enough about how much it helped me. These sessions were offered by my company through Prime Coach, and they really supported me in dealing with my health challenges which included major surgery. Kim's caring and insightful approach made me feel safe to share my feelings and fears about the procedure and how my life might be afterwards, which in turn helped with the healing process. Guided by Kim's strength and resilience, I learned how important it is to stand up for myself and my health. Each session left me feeling both relieved and positive for how much I had control over, allowing me to approach my procedure in the best frame of mind and emotional resilience possible. With Kim's help, we set health goals, we visualised a healthy, positive outcome. Using Kim’s specialist techniques to work with my body rather than against it, I changed certain attitudes, behaviours and habits that were undermining my health. I am amazed by how well and quickly I have recovered and am able to live and enjoy a full life. I’ve built a support network, and improved my state of health generally.
