Amazon Prime tv has gone down the drain. Higher costs. Nothing new. Adverts on some films/shows. Encouraged to sign up for other "channels" through AP.
I will not be renewing my subscription. Utter rubbish.

Fed up with Amazon movies

Fed up with Amazon movies, subscription paid every month to asked to pay to rent or buy, outdated free movies, poor show. Time to cancel, better content on YouTube.

Frequent problems with sync

Frequent problems with sync. Apart from that, not a bad service. I flinch when see a recently released movie costing £15 or so to rent, but then think how much it would cost for 2 people to visit the local multiplex, with all those commercials and other cinemagoers munching on popcorn.

Wish I could give 0 stars

Wish I could give 0 stars. Money grabbing company. Not only do I pay 7.99 a month I have to pay to rent or buy films to watch. That's if it doesn't come up with video not available.

GREEDY PRIME - SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION

I have had prime for a considerable amount of years now however, the worst for me is series like 'Outlander' that have always been free, you now have to subscribe and pay £5.99 a month to Starzppay in order to view - that is as well as your Prime subscription of £7.99 - they just get more and more greedier no matter how vast the profits they make are!

I have also noticed that over the last few years, when the old movies come back into circulation, you have to pay for them on top of the subscription! I get paying for new movies, but a 20+ year old movie??? Really really bad - I just watch them on other platforms now!

I will forgo watching Outlandersas reviews aren't too good, andI will not be joining Starzplay....I will be cancel my Prime subscription instead! Even parcell aren't cheaper than other sites now - and they certainly don't always come next day as stated!

I do not want prime nor do I need it

I do not want prime nor do I need it, I have netflix foxtel stan free to air, dozens of options. Do they think we just watch tv all day. I am now retired and still do not have enough time to watch everything I want to watch. Socialising, sleeping and household chores get in the way.

PRIME IS A RORT. Everytime I buy something from Amazon, they try to sign me to prime by offering free postage. I dont want their so called free postage or their prime.

Prime just sent me an email thanking me for my membership and advising me their fees will increase next march. I am bloody annoyed. I never joined Prime, but somehow I am now a fee paying member.

I checked google this is a common tactic. Amazon have boxes to tick before they send your book cd etc. It confuses people and sometimes they tick wrong box.

What do I do, cant send an email, phone line manned by minions in a black hole on another universe. Amazon used to be excellent, you could email them and they would promptly fix your problem. Not now. Do they have a new owner.

The only way I have recently been able to contact them is by cancelling my credit card. They are straight onto you especially if you owe them money. Seriously folks I will start by getting rid of prime and are also seriously thinking of getting rid of amazon.

Prime Video is a bad joke

The joke is on the customer. I have an Amazon Firestick. The only app that consistently has audio sync problems is Amazon Prime Video which really ruins the films. The new home screen is also very slow and so hard to navigate, it almost feels intentional. It also bothers me that the original language sound track is often not available on Amazon Prime content. Dubbed versions are cheaper so it's obvious skimping. There are very few good movies included. You end up paying for upsell commercials. I am seriously disappointed with the service. The Amazon Prime review page brings up a review guidelines error before I write a word. I don't think that's random.

Good for the freebie movies and TV shows.

This is one of the best things about Amazon, and I generally don't like Amazon. Excellent source for free films and TV series. No commercials throughout the movie or show like you have to put up with on Tubi and Vudu and offers a better selection of titles. There is one commercial before the movie or TV episode begins, but it's just for other available movies and shows. Some Amazon Originals have been outstanding with remarkable actors and stories. The app runs smoothly on all my devices and Fire Stick. Thanks, Prime Video!

Most off the stuff you have to pay…

Most off the stuff you have to pay extra to watch. Either via extra subscriptions, or by buying them. Sorry but if I'm paying 79 pounds a year, I should be able to watch anything without paying extra.

Also they remove stuff very suddenly. Was halfway through a season of heartland, now it's suddenly unavailable? It's a complete ripp off in my opinion.

Joke of a service

Joke of a service. DO NOT TRY TO GET AMAZON PRIME THROUGH YOUR TV. Been paying it over 7 months and never got the prime benefits. Just spent half an hour being talked in circles by amazon saying there is no account connected to my email or phone number or bank card. Yet it comes out if my account monthly. It does not recognise anyone that subscribes through their TV. Absolute joke.

Not as good as competitors

Not as good as competitors, there is a lot of room for improvement, especially in the user interface department, but nevertheless, great selection, great originals and low pricing!
