Never received textbooks

I enrolled in the LSAT self-pace prep course. I also purchased the textbooks to be mailed to me. Most of the material references these textbooks. It has been over a month and I have still not received these textbooks so it is difficult to go through the material. I emailed their customer service and have not gotten any response, hence my reason for writing this review - in hopes it solicits someone to provide an answer on this.

However, I had to switch courses because of my special needs son and taking care of my Mom and they helped me and transferred me to the LSAT 165 Live online and covered the remainder of my balance!!! Omg I love Princeton Review!!!! They have the best curriculum for taking the LSAT!!!!

Very impressed by our tutor

Very impressed by our tutor, Anne Cullens, who is by far the BEST SAT tutor we’ve experienced ever. Anne is the most detailed, thorough, results – achieving tutor, bar none. Not only that, Anne was able to help achieve all these amazing results for our student who needs more prodding & nudging. So incredibly glad we signed-up with Princeton Review, totally worth the investment. THANK YOU, Anne Cullens and Princeton Review team! We’ll definitely sign up our younger son, soon for SAT tutoring as well.

Good program

Very fast paced but information was condensed well and a lot of practice material and resources were provided within the website.

If it were at all possible to give 0…

If it were at all possible to give 0 stars, I would. We tried to set up tutoring and they never called us back. I called a dozen times, my son called too. I emailed and tried the contact piece on the page. No response at all ever. They take your money and give you nothing. Wyzant responded immediately!!! Go there

I have had two bad experiences with Princeton...

I have been using Princeton Review for one year. This is the SECOND time I am writing a critical review of it on Trustpilot. After I wrote the first one, a manager from that site called me and said she could resolve my problem, and when she did she asked if I would remove my critical review from Trustpilot. She did solve my problem, so I removed my review. But that’s what it took to get Princeton Review’s attention.

Princeton Review does not easily respond to voicemail messages you need to leave because no one ever picks up your call. It also does not respond to email messages for 2-3 days, and when it does, it first issues you a “ticket” number--which puts you in a new queue, with a new wait. All while you’re trying to help your kid get tutoring.

But poor customer service is the SECOND problem I have encountered with Princeton Review. The FIRST problem is its poor technical design. This site works inconsistently. If it worked fine, I wouldn’t be back on Trustpilot again describing my experiences to parents who are trying to help their kids with their classwork or test study.

I’ll keep this email brief so I don’t scare away folks from reading it, so you’ll have to take my word for it that scheduling tutors on Princeton Review should be a lot easier than it seems, and as it looks online. Some days I could schedule a tutor. Most days, though, the scheduling links didn’t work. I tried scheduling on Macs and PC’s, on laptops, desktops and tablets, and at all hours on every day (just today, however, I learned Princeton Review did discover and agree that the scheduling problem I was having was originating on its end, and not on my end. But no word on if was going to fix the situation. I'd have to keep trying to see if it fixed the problem. And my son still does not have the tutoring he needs.

As I said, this is my SECOND critical review of Princeton Review on Trustpilot. I’m going to ask for my balance to be refunded and I’ll look for a better, more capable online tutoring service. Consider my post here a tutoring session for you…

Great Test Prep Experience

I really enjoyed and found a value out of my SAT 1400+ class with Princeton Review. My instructor, Jhalak S., was extremely attentive during our biweekly classes. I really do feel like I learned a lot of strategies and methods overall and her teaching style and ability to effectively answer any question that we had helped tremendously. I'm excited to take the SAT this upcoming weekend and see how well I perform and improve after the help from her.

Genuine and Honest Review

I purchased the online self-paced course for the LSAT to take in October. The program had multiple technical errors such as portraying the wrong answer as correct, repeating the question instead of explanations, and a box with no explanations of a topic such as sufficient assumption questions. In addition, the books supplied by the program sometimes contained lessons –that were not in the online self-paced course– containing no context or explanations. They just provided practice problems of the topic. I reached out to the customer support and all they told me was it happens sometimes with no further support or information. It may seem unrealistic, but I have screenshots and multiple emails between customer support and I. I did not receive a refund either when my score decreased based on their policy of completing 4 LSAT practice tests and all the coursework. I understand their policy and the lack of refund falls onto me because I felt discouraged with their program and did not complete the entire thing or the 4 practice tests as I opted out of Law Hub Access at first. However, I felt that others should be aware of this policy. Ultimately, I find myself more upset with the program and its quality for it's online self-paced course because this program had me taking more time to send them things that should be corrected for other students in the future than learning the material and very discouraged. Students should not have to point out so many coding errors, seek out additional material but receive a unhelpful response, or left more confused about materials than before. I know that their are positive and boastful reviews out there, but I noticed a lot of them tend to imply the additional cost of a tutor. In other words, if you decide on this program, then I suggest investing in the 165+ program with/without a tutor. Honestly, there are better LSAT prep programs out there for the equivalent cost. Again, this is just one perspective that could be taken with a grain of salt, but this is seriously my honest and genuine experience.

Great experience with Clarissa

Clarissa was very personable and was one of the best tutors I have had. She really worked with me to fill in the gaps that I had and made sure that I was mentally checked in for each session. With the fine-tuning, I was able to see immediate improvement and work towards my goal.

Thank You Cameron’s Seafood

Thanks to Cameron’s Seafood for making me a priority. I’m just one of the many customer’s they have and they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. They did not have to do that. Scotty apologized on behalf of their company and came up with a solution for the problem I had with the salt content on the shrimp. This is the kind of service that make ordering online a pleasure. Thank you Cameron’s Seafood for the delicious order, you have a satisfied customer. I will be ordering once again!
