I had the instructor Janan Niroomand. She was great only reason why I dont put 5 stars is bc the tech tended to be unreliable even with a good computer. When taking a test you would have to open desmo... See more

Professional Guidance
I’ve found The Princeton Review undeniably helpful while studying for the SAT. I took the Targeted SAT Private Tutoring course with Mr. Vakulchik and received seriously professional guidance. He zeroed in on my areas of improvement based on my performance on practice tests then walked me through various modules, each focusing on one type of question. This methodical and insightful approach taught me how to identify each question type, approach the question, and determine the correct answer with the least possible time, effort, and panic. I left the class with newfound confidence to just take the darn test—I’d been training for it. I gained extra points because it’s not about how well you know math and English, it’s about how well you know the SAT.
Thank you Mr. Vakulchik and The Princeton Review; I highly recommend!
Review
It helped me with a lot of different testing strategies, ranging from timing to reading the questions properly.
I had David Jorgensen as my teacher and…
I had David Jorgensen as my teacher and he was great! He reached out to me personally to encourage me to keep working hard for my SAT’s after he saw that my scores on my practice SAT’s were increasing, and he kept the class engaged during lessons. He also got on the meeting before class started, and after class ended Incase we had any additional questions on our homework or on the material that we covered. My SAT score after taking the psat increased by 260 points, and I had a great experience.

EDIT: 😂😂😂the comment is hilarious.
What do you have to say about defrauding Title I schools in nyc? (google whistle blower legal princeton review fraud charges)
0 stars. During my time with The Princeton Review, I observed firsthand how corporate-driven education models prioritize rigid compliance over substantive instruction. This experience further refined my ability to critically assess institutional practices and reaffirmed my commitment to working in environments where integrity and development are core values.
There is no way this company is providing equitable, inclusive, and pedagogically sound instruction. They should be sued and gutted.

I Loved My Teacher Stacey J
This class is tiring and the homework is ALOT. The money-back-guarantee requirements are almost impossible to fulfill as you must complete every homework assignment. However, I do feel like it helped me with my ability to take the SAT and I LOVED my teacher: Stacey J.
Great course, great teachers, would recommend
Our teacher was Christina M, and she was truly wonderful. She was very well versed in the course and her explanations were easy to follow. Additionally, she took the time to go over necessary questions and gave every student the proper attention when we were struggling. All in all, I would recommend this course to those really looking to better their understanding of the SAT and improve their score.
Teacher Review
My teacher David was very cooperative and helpful over the past weeks. He made sure our whole class was understanding the concepts as we were going along.
Really good course!
I learned a lot from this course and I feel like my teacher, Ms. Lili, did a really good job at explaining things to me when I was confused. I love the organization of the course and it is really easy to navigate. Really recommend :)
Awesome resource
The teacher was so kind and patient with all of the students. The information taught was just what we needed to do well on the test. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend.

Got a 1500 on my last practice test…
Got a 1500 on my last practice test after learning from Mira Mehra for 3 months. 300 point improvement in such a short amount of time. She is patient & I love her way of explaining things. Totally recommend. Than you so much!
Mira Mehra was an amazing teacher!
Student Review
Hello! I am a student and I took Princeton Review. This program helped me so much! Not only did the course break every detail of the SAT down, I am so thankful for the tutor I was assigned. Her name is Mira Mehra and she was so helpful in making sure the class got to where we needed to be with English and Math. She was not only very productive and great at teaching us, she built our confidence up as a class and gave us a safe space within the program. I highly recommend this program and Mira Mehra!
Did not meet the guarantee
The Princeton Review do keep their word on the money back guarantee. My daughter had a wonderful course with Princeton for the ACT prep and learned alot. Even though she did not meet the guaranteed 5 point increase, she did make gains and learned great strategies. I think she would have done better if she did it in the summer time with less stress from the rigorous classes she was taking in school. I would recommend taking the Princeton ACT Program to any family. My suggestion would be to take it during the time that is not the most stressful in school. Consider doing it during the second semester of school versus the first semester of school.
Guarantee of 200 or your money back is true
My daughter completed the entire SAT prep program and did gain a lot of help. She is not great on tests but an all A student that knows how to work and learn. On tests, she simply struggles. She improved 140 points from the program. However, guarantee of 200 points is true and was quickly provided by Princeton. To be honest, I expected challenges to the guarantee but there we none. All in all, while I wish my daughter's SAT journey was over, this did help and when it did not help to the point of the guarantee it has helped us financially to hire additional support for the test.
Lots of resources!
This was a great experience in terms of content review. I feel that there was a surplus of content that we could use that was constantly available to us. This includes the teachers who were fabulous in every capacity. Special thanks to Natalie (Bio), Hadessah (CARS), and my psych soc teacher who's name is escaping me. I felt that they were all exceptionally passionate about their information and great sources to ask questions in class or through email. Everyone responded very quickly and appropriately. I felt that the only thing I did not like about the course was the lack of transparency as to how much time yo would realistically need to dedicate to be able to complete all of the work. It would be optimal for someone who does not work or go to school and is doing this and only this full time. There is so much homework and class work that it becomes difficult to do everything. Although I feel that this is a great base and although I do think I will take the MCAT one more time after taking it this week, I feel that I will be able to grow more and score even better next time.
Course feedback - Did not cover tougher math concepts
The help for reading was sufficient, but I feel like we spent too much time on reading and less on math. Also we were taught the methods for some concepts that we could’ve done using the calculator. The course did not focus much on utilizing the desmos calculator and did not cover enough of the tougher math concepts, only went over the basics and some strategies.
Instructor was great.
Instructor was great. Course was well designed. Even though my son did not reach his goal there was no problem getting the money back guarantee.
