Remi was a such an amazing midwife to us throughout all antenatal visits and postnatal care. It was so lovely seeing the same midwife throughout our visits- we few very grateful to have had this experience. She was kind, caring, supportive, easy to talk to and professional. Remi and Leonie were wonderful during the birth - we can never thank them enough. They supported me very well when I needed more help. They were confident, reassuring and calm when helping our baby boy quickly when he needed support breathing. I knew we were in safe hands. I would definitely recommend them to others.

I cannot recommend my private midwife, Emma, highly enough. From the very beginning, she provided an exceptional level of continuity of care that made such a difference to my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience. Emma was a steady, reassuring presence throughout — always available, always kind, and always professional.

When my birth began to take a direction I hadn’t anticipated, Emma was right there with calm, thoughtful advice. She helped me navigate the unexpected with grace and confidence, offering balanced guidance on medical options while always respecting my wishes. Her insight and depth of experience were invaluable in helping me feel informed, safe, and supported.

What truly sets Emma apart is the 24/7 care she offers. No question or concern was too small — she was just a message or call away, day or night. Her emotional support was just as strong as her clinical expertise. She made me feel truly seen and cared for, not just as a patient but as a person.

Postnatally, Emma continued to provide incredible support, checking in regularly and making sure both baby and I were doing well. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support have made a lasting impression on me and my family.

Emma is not only an outstanding midwife — she is a lovely person to be around, and I feel so lucky to have had her by my side during such an important time. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for compassionate, skilled, and deeply personal maternity care.

Private Midwives were flawless from the admin team to the midwives. Pam helmed me to realise the home birth I had dreamt of. I couldn’t recommend her or the company enough.

When the breastfeeding assessment team had identified our baby boy with a tongue tie it was a very stressful time as he wasn't gaining proper weight. We didn't want to wait for the NHS waitlist. On a Friday I contacted Private Midwives to have the release done. They were very quick to arrange the assessment and Heather Berry came on a Sunday of a bank holiday to get the release done. She was very sweet and took her time to assess the tongue again and did the release very quickly without any issues. She also took her time afterwards to make sure everything was good and gave us exercises to follow up with to make sure the tongue heals properly. We later went to an Osteopath and they said he had great tongue movement now. Thank you for the fast response and a release without any issues.

I planned a home birth for my second child who was conceived through IVF. I can only say how delighted I am to have had Fiona as part of our family’s experience through late pregnancy and birth. Fiona has been from start to finish friendly, approachable, really welcoming of our son Jack, professional, kind and I felt so supported throughout. I was respected throughout and everything was my choice. I wasn’t pressured into anything. Fiona was always able to offer advice and guidance and helped interpret hospital appointments in a way that was reassuring and understandable. She responded quickly to messages and was superb with advice and reassurance in the 6 weeks after birth. She was a calm, steady presence and made this time very special. I’m so happy she was our midwife. I’d recommend her and Private Midwives without hesitation.

We had an amazing experience with Private Midwives - the team was really helpful and responsive from the first contact we had with them. Having Emma with us throughout my pregnancy was one of the best decisions I have ever made. She was knowledgeable, supportive, caring and honest at every stage and she was always super response when I had questions or worries. I really valued that she provided me with all the information but was always very respectful of my wishes and choices and really took the time to understand what was important to me. We loved her visits and it was a godsend to have somebody that we trusted with us from start to finish. We are almost 5 months post partum now and still miss our visits from Emma!

Absolutely lovely midwife who was very knowledgeable. Unfortunate that the experience with the NHS is so slow and unreliable but thankfully this service is available and worth paying for.

Going for a home birth with the private midwives company has to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My initial consultation with Trish was amazing, she was so kind and respectful right from the beginning. I remember telling her I just want a midwife who will love me. She provided me just that. My midwife Emma is a godsend. From the beginning till end she supported me, gave me ALL of the information, never misled me. She respected my choices and made sure she was available to me day or night. This birth changed me and was the definition of a perfect birth story. This is the birth I’ve always dreamed of and thanks to Emma it was made a reality. I cannot recommend the private midwives and having a home birth enough. Thank you again to Emma ❤️

Had a great experience with My Private Midwives, we booked postnatal care for our first baby and found the booking process very smooth and easy, we also got the opportunity to speak to our midwife, Emma, before we made the booking which was really helpful and reassuring. After the birth, Emma was absolutely wonderful! She was amazing with our little girl and also provided some really valuable emotional support for me in those wild first few weeks of parenthood. She was so calm, knowledgeable and supportive, and always on hand for any questions we had, including some late night panics! She was such a ray of sunshine, we really looked forward to her visits. We're going to miss her!

Rochelle was amazing — so calm, knowledgeable, and exactly what we needed. We were able to book her quickly, and she came to our home when the NHS had a 3-week wait. She’s the reason our baby got checked and treated for jaundice, which the NHS missed. She was also very calming and did a great job with the tongue. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

Great service - booking an appointment for a home visit was easy, and the midwife was caring, knowledgeable, and patient.

Twice I have used Jayne and both times she has been amazing. Very difficult experiences but she made me feel I formed and in control. I can't thank Jayne enough for what she has done for my children!

Our experience with Private Midwives was exceptional from beginning to end. Julia was incredible and made us feel at ease, fully prepared and supported throughout which made us both feel so confident for the birth itself. I had the most amazing, magical, breathtaking experience giving birth at home and working with private midwives was the best decision I have ever made. Sounds very cheesy but it was definitely the best day of my life!

Emma Lawless is what we called “an angel that fell out of heaven”. Her care, love, support, knowledge and wisdom, and professionalism were all perfect to a t. The balance was perfect and she genuinely felt like part of my family by the end of our journey, I was devastated to be discharged!

She is a true advocate for her mums and I felt safe throughout the whole process. If I had to be able to sum up what I wanted from my birth in one word, it would have been “Safe” and that is what Emma allowed for me to have. She let me have autonomy and only intervened when she needed to. She listened to all of my wishes and made sure I was able to have the birth I dreamed of whilst delivering my baby safely. First thing I felt was that I could do this all over again!

Her team Julia and Safiya were also invaluable additions to my experience and they all worked so well together.

Emma did not make me feel like she was at work in any of my visits pre and postnatally and I honestly felt like I was the only mum she was caring for. I have recommended her to every single one of my friends and family who are pregnant or having babies soon, hoping my story would be enough to persuade them to have a home birth!

There aren’t enough words to give Emma the credit that she’s due, but if we had more midwives like her, women would have so many more positive stories to tell. And I know that had things not have gone to plan, I would have been in the best hands no matter what the outcome.

I reached out to private midwives regarding my son’s tongue tie and had such a pleasant experience. Everyone I spoke to was lovely and very reassuring. Victoria arrived promptly and was so thorough and caring throughout the whole session. Can’t recommend them enough.

I contacted Private midwives about my baby's tongue tie and a week later he had had the procedure. Sharon, the midwife who did the procedure, was amazing. She was very friendly and explained everything clearly, leaving us feeling reassured and calm. Would recommend!

We don’t have words to describe quite how grateful we are to Private Midwives and Bev and Keri for our wonderful home-birth experience. From start to finish the girls took care of every single concern and worry of ours, determined to help us rewrite our traumatic first birth experience (and rather negative experience with the NHS with this pregnancy too!). They put us so at ease from the very first meeting at 37 weeks and made sure our little boy was always involved during check ups which was so lovely. They answered any messages or calls instantly, so we are wondering when on earth they sleep!

During our birth, their care was so personal and the hands-off approach left me feeling so empowered and proud of what I’m capable of. We were so sad to have to say goodbye to these lovely ladies, and will never ever forget what they did for us! I just wish everyone had the opportunity to experience this level of care because it really matters at such a vulnerable time.

We booked the silver package with private midwives and it's the best money we have ever spent.

The continuity of care throughout pregnancy, during labour, birth and postpartum made such a difference to my recovery both physically and mentally and also with establishing breastfeeding.

Our lead midwife was Amie but we were also supported by Sally and Hannah who all provided us with a wealth of information so we were able to make informed decisions and choices. Amie supported us to attend NHS scan and consultant appointments so she was able to answer any questions we had and provide a balanced view. This was very supportive, particularly towards the end of pregnancy when the NHS wanted to induce me. This is not something we wanted or felt was needed.

The teams care, support and knowledge exceeded our expectations. We feel very lucky to have had such a brilliant team of midwives. Thank you so much ladies.
