Had a dryer hose replaced and vent…

Had a dryer hose replaced and vent cleaned out. Technician seemed inexperienced and was two hours late. Was charged $400.00 which I thought was excessive. The first technician ddi not know how to clean vent and he needed backup. Poor communication with both workers .they were very rude

They send shady-looking contractors to…

They send shady-looking contractors to your house; they indicate they do background checks, but it's doubtful, not from what I've seen. The organization hides behind voice mail and answering services when these techs they send to your house screw up appliances they are sent to fix. Once they collect whatever service fees, upfront fees, etc., that they swindle out of you without providing real service, they become ghosts!!!. And I am genuinely convinced that the organization is just one guy sitting on a phone, sending unqualified, despairing people to your house. It appears to be this one foreign guy, I suspect of Indian origin based on his accent, who seems to be the only one manning a phone, and this is the number you call to book an appointment (that's when the Con begins) the other numbers associated with the establishment, all calls are sent straight to a voice mailbox.

Check the BBB(Better Business Bureau), NOT LISTED!!!!

But their website looks good :(

No show

Appointment window was between 11am and 1 pm. At one o’clock I tried to reach out to customer service at the number listed in the multiple appointment verifications that I had received. Waited until I was forced to leave a callback message. That never came. At 4pm frontdoor called to tell me that they had been unable to schedule a technician for appointment time. They knew that before the appointment time but waited until after the appointment window closed. They wanted to reschedule. Seriously?? I didn’t want to wait around all day again for something that wasn’t going to happen.

Steer Clear of FrontDoor - Sub-Zero Service

One star is too high truly sub-zero stars.
Last week we attempted to take advantage of dryer vent cleaning special through Frontdoor, from American Home Shield.
First, Frontdoor's website didn't have dryer vent cleaning as a category to choose from.
So, not knowing any better at the time, I chose appliance service over carpet cleaning.
I then wrote in the notes that I was requesting the vent cleaning deal and scheduled an appointment. The next day, the "tech" called and said that he doesn't do vents and that I needed to reschedule.
My wife had stayed home from work - 4 lost hours.
I then called to reschedule, since obviously Frontdoor's site didn't allow for proper scheduling. Fast forward to today, my wife stayed home from work this morning for a CONFIRMED (multiple times) 9-11am appointment.
At 11am, after zero communication from Frontdoor I called and was told; the service provider they reached out to never accepted the appointment.
So my wife has now lost a full day's pay due to terrible communication and unrilable service techs. To top it off, the agent said they only have a couple of techs in our area to choose from, but agreed that they provide terrible customer service.
We have been quite happy with American Home Shield, but I would suggest steering clear from the Frontdoor side of their business - other than a friendly voice (after many attempts) I would not trust their operation.
No call backs either.

This is the worst service company

This is the worst service company, I used them to fix my washer. After them left the washer started making a loud noise during the spin cycle. I tried to schedule an appointment for them to fix the problem they created and five times they scheduled and cancelled. NEVER use this company ever if they quote you a lower price. You will pay more in the end

DO NOT USE FRONT DOOR PRO!!!!!!!!! I would give 0 stars if I could. They set us up with a contractor that falsely diagnosed our broken washer machine. The contractor charged us for everything and left us with a broken washer machine, would not answer our calls and never came back to fix anything. Front door pro will not refund us. They are an awful company!

Gave them 3 stars - the work was great! BUT....

Gave them 3 stars because I loved the subcontractors that FrontDoor assigned to me. Took off 2 stars because FrontDoor's messaging and billing process was a mess. I signed up for a special offer on vent cleaning ($99 instead of $149). They sent me an invoice authorization for $149 + tax. I objected and they told me to authorize the higher amount and they would adjust it on the final invoice. The final invoice did reflect a $50 credit but they still were charging me tax on the $149 which is illegal. I paid the correct amount $99 + tax (not the $99 + tax on $149). Eventually, they gave me a credit for the discrepancy. I'm not even going to describe the mucked up communication process except to say that I was still getting emails and texts from FrontDoor telling me that my contractors were on their way when the contractors had already completed the job and left. RIDICULOUS

I wish I could rate no stars

I wish I could rate no stars. Called this company to have my Samsung refrigerator repaired. Went through all the motions of booking to only get a no call no show. Tried calling back all of a sudden I can only leave a message but was able to talk to a live person to book the appointment

I HAD A 3-5PM APPOINTMENT; NO SHOW
WHEN I CALLED, THEY ACTED LIKE THE KNEW THE OLIVE BANCH AREA. RED FLAG!!
Go find another company to contract with

received a quote for a new HVAC system…

received a quote for a new HVAC system and signed a contract for the work. the next day received a new higher quote for the same work. I was told it was different equipment because the original equipment wasn't available. the equipment listed was the exact same on both quotes. Then I was told it was because it was from a different supplier and they would honor the original price but only whenever the original supplier had the equipment available but they couldn't say when that would be or how long we would have to wait. Complete scam!

Awful Service

Great techs, but awful scheduling and customer service. I regret spending the $79. Tech didn't show up during the 2-hour window I was given, and FrontDoor never let me know he was late, or what the ETA was. After diagnosis for my broken fridge, I never got a quote for the repair part for my claim, and they have been impossible to contact via email or phone. Tragically just wasted money for nothing and now have to go somewhere else.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Had a door hinge replaced for my top loader LG washer. Technician who came out was very nice and did a great job with replacement however, I'm later noticed that in opening the lid of the washer that I am hearing the same popping noise that I was hearing before the hinge broke. Called to ask about a warranty of the work done as I was not provided this information prior of 30 days. Only 1 day past the 30 days in reaching out and spoke with Gerri who advised was able to get approval to have a tech come out just to recheck the installment of the hinge and received both a call and text of approval and a timeframe of when a tech would be coming out(next day) when the tech didn't show within the promised timeframe, I reached out to customer service and was told since it was 2 days past the 30 day warranty(granted approval was provided the day before) a tech would not be coming out. Then I was given another excuse because the part was not provided by them(granted it was ordered from LG, the same part that the tech confirmed they would have ordered) then I asked if Gerri could call me back as the rep I spoke with was very rude and incompetent.
I had Very bad experience due to not receiving a service as promised, no call back and the company just did not honor to do what they said they would do.

I would definitely not use this company in the future and will go with their competitors who might be a little more expensive but would get a much better customer service experience and a company who will honor their service and make it right for the customers.

I got a call back from Frontdoor(1)…

I got a call back from Frontdoor(1) after an expensive diagnostic and two no-shows (with me at home waiting in vain) and more than a week, and a half-dozen attempts to contact them. It was also after more than a week and and after I contacted and received excellent service from Sears for my dryer. Would they refund the $99+tax that I lost with their "Pro"? No, but they would send another technician to give me an estimate.

Hey -- any chance someone (or your bot) wants to reply to any of the zillions of poor reviews?

DO NOT USE FRONTDOOR!

COMPLETE SCAM!

I scheduled an appointment for my dishwasher for Saturday 8am-10am. Planned my day around this appointment. No one called and no one showed up. I then called the agency and they stated “we do not have a technician available for that timeframe“. Huh?!? How on earth do you book an appointment if you do not have a technician available?! A phone call would have been nice so I did not waste my morning. Now I am in a bind on a Saturday morning. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they apparently do not have any. Very unhappy with this company.

SCAM!!!

Our stove broke and we had a Frontdoor rep come out on Saturday Oct 12. We liked him and he said he'd be back Monday or Tuesday to fix the stove. Well he never called us back or returned our calls. Finally we made an appointment on Nov 6 for one of their reps to come out on Nov 6. They said they'd call if they weren't coming. We waited from 1-3 but they no showed us. This was a terrible experience. The phone reps were awful and I had to beg to talk to a manager and beg to get a refund of the $99 they stole from us. They did nothing to fix the stove and did nothing but cause us stress.

Ripped off by Frontdoorpro

Would not hire these people ever again. I had my 5 year old Samsung Range serviced 0n 4-19-24. They replaced the igniter for a cost of $535. 6 month`s later the inniter burned out. Called out a local service repair co. and they put a new one in for a cost of $289. They informed me the one Frontdoorpro installed was tne wrong part and thar`s why it burned out. I contacted Frontdoorpro and they said SORRY our warranty is only good for 30 days. Go local and skip this company.

It was a clever scam

It was a clever scam. Tech showed up to "diagnose the problem" with my dryer. $99 plus tax for that. Would get the part and return the next day and credit the fee towdard the repair. Disappeared without a trace. No accountability from Frobtdoor.

VERY GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION

I Needed my Electric Ovens glass door put back into my door, because after I finished cleaning the inside glass on the door & was about to close it & put the screws back into place,
the glass popped out.

For 2 hours I struggled trying to put it back into place, with no success.

Finally I realized that I couldn't do it, I needed help & I needed it right away.

Nomore DIY's for me, I'm done.
So now, I'm in a panic mode & I began to Goggle Appliance Repair Companies.

I came upon Front Door Appliance Repair, they had very good reviews so I decided to give them a try.

I called, booked an Appointment & waited.

What I first noticed & it stood out to me was the efficiency of the company.
I booked an appointment on a Wednesday night & they were there promptly on Thursday morning as promised.

Affordability is also something else that impressed me.
But the top thing for me was the Professionalism & the Attitude of Anway Salik, the Technician that came out to my home.

He was knowledgeable, efficient & clean with his work.
I will definitely recommend this company to my friends.
