Disorganized and dishonest billing practices
If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. Promedica’s billing department is garbage- in my specific case, sending balances to collections on the date of service instead of waiting for the insurance to be invoiced correctly, not being able to show where payments have been allocated, not returning communication, and then hiring attorneys with the same lack of communication to garnish my wages for the incorrect amount that was submitted prior to insurance covering the balance. So I am now forced to pay an amount that Promedica has already received from my insurance company, plus court costs and interest, resulting in Promedica receiving over $1000 more than the correct bill. I will never go back to any Promedica provider.
