Had Protex to do the outside of our house 2023 just before Christmas, you will have to bare with me on this as im not very good on a lap top and after asking my husband and son for their help in writing this, they were both to busy as they work!!! the same as me!!!
Wez and the lads did a fantastic job, our house really does stand out now, so pleased with the finished job.
They were very professional and approachable, lovely guys, left no mess behind, and i would highly recommend them,
If i could i would put a photo of the before and after, but as i have said, no good on a laptop,
Neighbour has said best looking house on the Street, made me so proud,

I always find it intimidating when you're looking to get work completed on your home. You never know which quote is right, the quality of the workmanship, and if you're being charged for something you don't need. So I decided to get four quotes to render the front of my house which was showing it's age. I hadn't realised how difficult it is to get contractors to actually come out to look at the job, when they did, I was chasing them to provide a quote after ten days. They ranged from that seems really cheap to how much?
Protex were entirely different, Wes called around to view the work within a day, a comprehensive written quote was provided by the end of the day. I was impressed with the speed and and professional approach. I felt that if you can get this bit right where the others couldn't, then I'm sure the standard of the work would be equally good.
Wes and James completed the rendering for me and made it all very easy keeping me informed ar all stages.Their attention to detail and ensuring that all areas were masked up, plants in the garden and surrounding areas were fully protected was impressive. Their work has made a such a difference to the property.
I would have no hesitation in using their services again, or recommend them to a friend or family member. Thank you so much!

Wes (the proprietor) is very difficult to work with, unable to get on with my neighbour I had to mediate mid-works to get the job done. Anyhow, 5 years into a 10 year warranty paint has started to peel off and after many exchanges where he would not honour the warranty, he finally agreed to the works when I got his paint supplier involved (Andura). However, recently he has once again reneged on his commitment to complete remedial works. BEWARE.... and the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on!!

The quality of the work undertaken on our property from Wes and the team was excellent. Really nice company to deal with. Very happy and would recommend. The price was very competitive.

Used this company 5 years ago (2016) to repair and re-paint the front of my shop premises. Initially a good job but over the 5 years the paint has started peeling and the rendering repair has started to come away. Many excuses given but no attempt or offer to help rectify the problem. The statement from the website is "BACKED BY A 10 YEARS WORKMANSHIP GUARANTEE – FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND" - beware

Protex Midlands quoted well and came and did the job but have never come back to finish the job. A couple of bi-fold doors were fitted after the rendering was done and it was agreed that they would come back to finish off round the edges. There was also a couple of patches on the rendering that i wanted them to touch up. The owner kept promising to come back but never has and in the end was quite rude to my wife on the phone. Its a shame as they would have got 5 stars had they just simply finished off as they promised.

No hesitation in recommending this company.You can be rest assured you are dealing with a professional outfit who do a very good quality job.You wont be messed around they will turn up when stated and weather permitting the job will be completed on time and everything left in pristine condition.On top of that Wesley is a nice genuine bloke and a pleasure to have working at your property.
