HIGHLY deceitful! Bought a $15 lick bowl - cheap plastic that cracked the first time we used it due to the extreme difficulty in removing the bottom half to fill the bowl, then they snuck in a $39.99... See more

This is a scam

This is a scam. You pay $14.99 for the product and you get a hidden subscription charge on your bank account for Curea Shop for $39.99. It's so deceptive that my bank would not reverse the charge b/c they said the charge was coming from my phone. I would have never put the two together--unless I did a search on the web. The phone number they give you to contact Curea is not a legitimate number either.

Absolute scam. Avoid at all costs.

Absolute scam. The product is made of cheap plastic unlike what is displayed on the website. They also secretly enroll you in a membership that charges $39.99 per month with no way to cancel. Avoid at all costs.

Garbage!! Absolutely do not buy anything from this company!

Garbage! And a scam!!!!

The product is cheap plastic, no grips or weight to keep the base on the floor.

But most importantly they charged a $39.99 "membership fee" 12 days after I ordered and just after my items shipped. I assumed this was the original charge and they just hadn't charged me until shipping. thankfully I checked my bank statement and noticed a previous charge for $32. When I reached out to the company they told me it was a membership fee!! FOR WHAT!??!

Thankfully I was able to file a dispute with my credit card company and get my money back. Reached out to pupa and demanded they cancel my account immediately.

This is a scam company DO NOT purchase…

This is a scam company DO NOT purchase anything from them under any circumstance. They will claim you have sign up for $40/ month "subscription" if you make a purchase. This subscription is just a recurring fee and does not give you anything. I have tried repeated to cancel this charge and they just keep replying that my subscription was processed. It's a total scam.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. Sneaky business. The product did come, and granted it is as it is shown on the site, however I was unaware, nor did they make any efforts to inform me that when you purchase ANY item from the website, you are automatically signed up for a membership costing $39.99 USD a month, ($50.00 AUD). They are charging people and stealing their details for future ongoing memberships without their authorisation, consent or knowledge. Do not buy anything from them.

Basically a scam

Basically a scam. They deliver the original item but then charge you a hidden membership fee. Avoid. Cheap plastic and there are better equivalents on Amazon.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. Ordered a dog toy, got a cheaply made plastic thing shipped from China and then proceeded to get charged another $39.99 for absolutely nothing. Reading online they trick you into a monthly subscription for absolutely nothing. Had to call and cancel my card.

Scam, unethical $40 “membership” without your knowing consent

Echoing exactly the same story that others have mentioned - bought one product, and when reading the terms of service saw that I would be registered for a COMPLIMENTARY vip program. But only when you search on your own separately on the site do you find that it’s complimentary for 12 days, then you get charged. Customer service is a joke, only available via email with days in between each response. Refused to refund the charge. It is such an opaque, unethical business practice it feels like fraud. It’s a total scam. I’ve reported them to the better business bureau as well. This breaks my heart because I almost bought their product from Walmart, but wanted to try and support independent businesses and cut out the middle men like Walmart or Amazon. But I’ve now been burned with something like this a few times, that I unfortunately need to go back to buying from the big guys to prevent this kind of shadiness from continuing getting me again.

SUBSCRIPTION SCAM 39.99

ZERO STARS.
The bowl is a cheap & unlabeled. Small, only a couple tablespoons fit...junk - comes directly from China. Scammed with a 39.99 VIP subscription they will not refund. Charged by some other company called CUREA.

Zero stars would be more appropriate

Only giving a 1 star as zero isn't a possibility. Please go elsewhere. As others have mentioned, and I unfortunately didn't see in time, you are signed up for a $39.99 monthly VIP service before you are even aware. Their "service" team takes days to respond and then denies you a refund as payment has "already been processed". I know that dingbats, that's why I'm asking for a refund and not a cancellation. Refunds/charge reversals are completed all the time from companies.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM PUPAPAWS.COM

Completely deceptive business practice.

I made a one‑time purchase and later discovered they had signed me up for a $39.99 USD monthly “VIP” subscription without my knowledge or permission. This charge is hidden in the fine print and not shown during checkout. Completely deceptive business practice.

Like everyone else Fraud, limited contact

Like everyone else. 1-time purchase through Shopify. Charged me for a membership 1 month later. Saw it in pending and sent an email, so we will see but you can only contact via email. No email acknowledging cancellation no email stating I was signed up.... NOT WORTH IT!
