Pure Mortgages was a recommendation from the local estate agent, which the property has been marketed through.

It’s been a bit of a walk, for around a year, trying to buy our dream home and relocate from London down to the Southern coastal line, ideally within Brighton’s area.

Dealing with various lenders, directly, have certainly not been easy in all aspects of the mortgage application, from raising the needed fund to borrow, obviously based on our income affordability, to the duration of the mortgage period. In addition to the constant lenders’ criteria changes, making it more challenging to obtain a mortgage, let alone finding the right lender who would consider a 100% of one’s overtime income to qualify for the asking amount to borrow.

And when decided to proceed via a private broker, based on dealing with a handful number of them, some were just not fully acting in our own best interest, exerting a bit of an extra effort if you ever need them to, being dedicated all the way to the end, being pushy rather than being informative to enlighten you when making choices, or even wanting to charge a percentage of the total borrowed amount, on top of their flat rate service fee!

Well, dealing with James of Pure Mortgages, in my opening, was certainly the contrarily of the above negative points and has been one of the right choices we’ve made to getting that far with exchanging contractors, eventually!!

I really believe it couldn’t have felt right giving a 1- or 2-minute online review about Pure Mortgages in return to the tireless dedicated time and amount of effort they have given us through out the last five months of the purchase process.

So, thank you James for being approachable, resourceful, informative, time flexible, friendly, keeping us well updated, being involved since day one till the very last day of completion, and certainly providing a competitive service fee!

i was referred to use Pure Mortgages and i can safely say it was a great recommendation. I worked with Viraj and he was absolutely great! he explained all the technical terms on a mortgage statement, the next steps and was always patient when i had a mini stress-attack.
