I don't know who this kind, genuine, friendly, warm-hearted Ian is that everyone references in these glowing reviews but my experience consisted of a 2 minute phone call with a man who was rude from the start, came across cocky, ignorant and practically hung the phone up on me whilst calling on behalf of my partner during a very stressful time in our lives. I was calling for an approximate price, granted I didn't have all of the information needed however accusing me of lying in an instance when truth is of the upmost importance, you would think the man on the other end of the phone would have a little bit of empathy when dealing with the concerned public who could end up paying him a lot of money. Hopefully if I ever do talk to Ian he might be the nice person everyone states he is because the man on the phone has made me not want to call back. I was looking at 12-36 months in custody before my case even started.
The fact that I've missed my first court hearing, moved address to Jersey and didn't notice the police was definitely not helping.

After discussion with my solicitor at the time, who did not seem to think I have a chance of getting away with this, I started looking for someone else.
That's when I found Pure Erskine and, after going through their reviews, decided to give them a chance.

I first spoke to Ian, whose calm and friendly demeanour instilled trust from the get go.

After explaining the case to him, we came up with an action plan.
I must say that he did seem a lot more positive than my previous solocitor.

I then came back to the UK to appear before the magistrates court. They have decided that I am a flight risk, and therefore needed to be retained on remand.

Fast forward a month, and Ian managed to move my court date from November to August, as well as, to my surprise and delight managed to get me a suspended sentence of 12 months.

It is with great pleasure that I write this review. I retained the services of Pury Erskine for pre-charge intervention, a decision that has quite literally given me my life back. Ian Graham, from the outset, has shown the utmost professionalism and has dealt with a sensitive situation after no fewer than five well-known firms had turned me away, stating that there was nothing they could do to help me. I was losing all hope, then I spoke to Ian. Explaining my predicament, he said the most reassuring thing that anyone could have at that exact moment, ‘please, let me stop you, so I can assure you that it is an utter nonsense that nothing can be done; there is much that can be done, we can and will help you’. From that point began nearly a 10-month-long relationship, in which my case was-not just taken on, but cared for by Ian, Keira, and Lauren. It was, I feel I must add, a case of extraordinary complexity and length.

One of the many invaluable qualities one can expect from this firm is the consistency of personal communication. I am extremely impressed with the service I received today from Ian Graham of Pure Erskine Ltd. I was looking for a specialist solicitor and as there was nobody doing this type of work in our town I had to trawl the internet, in trepidation, to find help.
