I placed an online order for a small…

I placed an online order for a small item on June 7 and received an email confirming the order — but never received any shipping confirmation. I contacted the seller twice via email and called three times, with no response. Finally, on June 22 — 15 days later — I received an email reply from a lady at the shop who informed me that the item was out of stock.

This level of service is completely unacceptable. Ignoring multiple emails and phone calls, only to finally respond over two weeks later, is beyond unprofessional. I’m now trying to obtain a refund.

AVOID this shop on Yonge Street in Toronto — worst customer service I’ve experienced in 40 years! To make matters worse, this was meant to be a birthday gift, and now I have nothing.

The worse experience ever!

We have been waiting for them to ship an order we placed a week ago. They have communicated nothing other than acknowledging the order. They do not answer emails. We finally got through to someone, and they explained that the products were back-ordered, and she had no idea when they would be in stock. We asked to cancel the order, and she replied, "OK," and hung up the phone. Very rude.
We are now gearing up for a fight to get the money returned to our account.
Stay away!!

2 out of 4 products arrived broken

I ordered 4 Christmas ornaments, of which 2 arrived broken. One was very visibly broken, the other one took me a while to notice unfortunately. Since I paid for international shipping and customs it would have been too much of a hassle to return but I contacted customer service for a refund of one of the ornaments. I only noticed the other one was also broken a little bit too late and didn't bother contacting them again but they did refund the one I asked about. They never replied to my email though. I wouldn't order from them again.

Poor service and worse customer care

I ordered an ornament on July 31st and payment was taken via PayPal at the time. As of today, September 8th, I still have not received my order. Five emails have gone unanswered, two phone messages were not returned and, when I finally got to speak to a representative, I was promised a call back which did not happen. I phoned again and was advised to contact the Canadian postal service. I asked for a tracking number and was told there wasn't one. I was then told that I had selected a delivery method which could take up to twelve weeks. This was not made clear at the time and I was charged £23.00 shipping. The company could improve by clarifying the time scales on the different delivery methods at the point of checkout and by answering emails and phone calls. What is the point in having a 'contact us' tab on the website if you ignore messages? I certainly won't repeat this frustrating experience. I have since read a number of reviews similar to this one. It seems that the in store ratings keep the overall score at about 4 but all the online experiences have been very poor with others having the same problems as I did. I would strongly advise customers to avoid shopping online with this company. I have written a number of reviews for other companies and have never given fewer than four stars so I do not give poor reviews easily.
