Customer service

We've ordered multiple puzzles from this company before and they have been great. My last order resulted in a puzzle with a missing piece. After requesting a replacement, the company sent a new one and our special puzzle is now complete. Excellent customer service and response. Thank you!

Extremely Poor Cut Quality – Missing Piece and Repeated Misfits

I have completed well over 100 puzzles over the years and have never encountered issues like this.
This custom puzzle was missing one piece, but the more significant problem was the die-cut quality.
Numerous pieces had nearly identical shapes and were cut with such loose tolerances that they would physically fit into multiple locations, particularly in areas where the image colors were similar. In several rows, pieces with virtually identical cut profiles and similar coloring could be swapped and would “fit” without obvious resistance.
This occurred repeatedly throughout the build, not just once. It made the puzzle unnecessarily confusing and frustrating because you could not rely on piece shape to confirm proper placement, something that should never be an issue with a well-manufactured puzzle.
For a custom product at this price point, the cutting precision and quality control should be significantly better.
Between the missing piece and the inconsistent die-cutting, the overall experience was disappointing. I would not purchase again.

PuzzleYOU was perfect

PuzzleYOU was perfect, I ordered a few puzzles for a friend and they arrived on time and in perfect condition. Then, I had a request for puzzles with an ice skating theme I wanted prior to the Olympics [for same friend] and had difficulty framing the photos correctly. PuzzleYOU customer service provided very specific, accurate, and timely guidance which worked perfectly and the puzzles were ordered & arrived prior to the Olympics. My friend was very happy, thank you PuzzleYOU USA, excellent service and very high quality product.

Puzzles aren’t worth the money

I uploaded a family picture that I cleaned up using AI which turned out great. Got the puzzle quickly but the imagery was blurred, pieces weren’t very thick and had a hard time getting the pieces to fit properly. Waste of money and time. Don’t buy from this company.

I ordered a 1000 piece puzzle for my…bad experience

I ordered a 1000 piece puzzle for my wife for Christmas. Super excited to surprise her with a puzzle of our cat. My wife starts putting it together, borders first. The borders were too blurry to put together. As we attempted to put the edges together, it was evident that the pixels reproduced in the puzzle were bad. My wife gave up. I compared my high resolution photo provided which was sharp throughout the photo, all the way to the edges. I reached out to the company, providing images of the photo vs. the puzzle produced. I asked them to reproduce with a smaller puzzle. They consistently put the problem back on me saying that “maybe” the photo auto focused on the middle of the image, even though the photo did not show that. After a couple of email exchanges, and my pointing to their satisfaction guarantee, they said the best they would offer is a 30% discount on my next order.

I would have taken a redo, a smaller puzzle, something. But a discount on a future order when my first was not of good quality? Horrible customer service. Should have gone with a different manufacturer.

Excellent Puzzle, excellent customer service

Excellent Puzzle, excellent customer service. The puzzle was great quality, and fun to put together. Because this was a custom puzzle, we want to frame it. After completing, we saw there was a piece missing. I contacted customer service. They were awesome. They responded promptly. They were very courteous and professional. They resolved the issue, and I am a happy customer. I highly recommend this company and their products.

PuzzleYou Gift Giving

I received a picture puzzle as a gift and thought it was a cool idea. Then I turned around and ordered from them and learned their company is not the best. I would not recommend ordering from them. Their quality is not good/sharp. You cannot call and speak with anyone if you have issues/problems with your order and they do not respond to emails in a timely fashion. They do not include a full picture of what you submit with your puzzle gift. I would suggest using other outlets that includes phone numbers where you can contact them if there's a problem/issue.

Unscrupulous Business Practices

Fist off this is a German company which masquerades as either a Canadian or US company. I ordered a puzzle worth $53 and paid $14 for shipping only to have UPS demand an exorbitant "customs brokerage" fee $29. I've refused delivery and requested a refund. Don't buy from this company!

Hidden fees, bad customer service

As others have noted, there are additional import fees charged before you can receive your puzzle. I was already spending a lot under the premise that I was ordering from a Canadian company (per their country selection page) - nowhere did they mention my order would ship from overseas, nor that I would have to pay nearly the cost of the puzzle again in duties... but the most disappointing part was when I contacted them to let them know they should make it clear if it's shipping from another country, and they basically gaslit me saying it's clearly stated and it's my fault for missing it. I'm obviously not the first complaint they've received about this, so they clearly know it's an issue and don't care to do anything to rectify it. They can absolutely calculate and collect duties up front but choose not to because they know people wouldn't spend $150 for a puzzle when they can order one from an *actual* Canadian company.

Awesome job

Awesome job! Loved the picture puzzle ordered and it was delivered efficiently. It was a nice gift. Had a slight issue with original order missing a couple pieces when assembled. Reached out & notified. They quickly responded and apologized, then offered to resend a complete puzzle. They promptly prepared the new order to ship. Great customer service!!! Will certainly give them continued support. Highly recommend!!!

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. First there is no phone number to speak to anyone. I left two emails and haven’t received a response. The pieces themselves are good with a few that are lifting off at the top. it’s extremely challenging to put this 1000 piece puzzle together. Many pieces are very similar and appear to be a true fit. I have completed other puzzles from different companies so I am not a beginner. It should be enjoyable and it is not.

Never Again

Ordered a puzzle, once it was finished, I was missing a piece but I had an extra green piece, there is no green in my puzzle what so ever. Customer service said they would be in contact in 1-2 business days, that was over a week ago. I got the puzzle of my Parents who both passed in 2025, today Jan 9th is the 1 year anniversary of my Dad's passing.

Helpful customer service!

Recieved as a gift and was missing a piece but customer service helped look up the order and is sending a replacement which is really nice. Quality was very good. Took awhile to hear back right after the holidays so if you have an issue be patient, they did end up reaching out and helping! I would use this company again.

Be Prepared for a Really Challenging Puzzle

Setting up the puzzle on the PuzzleYou website with my provided photo and then purchasing it was quite straightforward. The puzzle was produced and delivered more quickly than I thought it would be (3 days!). Seeing my photo on the box cover was wonderful; the gift recipient was equally excited. However, the excitement ended when we actually tried to assemble the puzzle. The first problem is that the image I used for the puzzle had significant regions with little or no detail (although there was WAY more detail than I would normally include in a printed photo). The second problem is that the puzzle pieces themselves have very little variation in shape. The upshot is that we could snap two pieces together, but still not be sure that they were indeed supposed to go together. Other puzzle manufacturers address this with greater variations in the shapes of the pieces or by stamping a grid of letters on the backs (one can check to see if the letters are contiguous across the boundaries of the pieces). Our frustration mounted to the point that we ended up putting the pieces back in the box and setting aside for now.

Horrible customer service from…

Horrible customer service from Puzzleyou.com
The picture that was uploaded said the quality was great. Received the puzzle as a Christmas gift for my kids and the picture on the front of the box is so blurry you cannot even recognize the people in the photo. I have contacted puzzleyou.com at least 6 times now over 2 weeks and no response. This cost $42.95 and I will be doing a chargeback on my credit card ASAP. Buyer beware!!
