My experience with Qasa was great

My experience with Qasa was great, some technical issues occurred as I am not a Finnish citizen, but the customer service supported us in every step. A particular thanks to Heidi from the customer service. I strongly advise this website.

The add showed twice on their webpage was showed in another platform has been already rented. We need to have an IDbank, which should make it safer and trustworthy but how in the F* an international, european student will get the Swedish IDbank when I'm awaiting for the social security number? and of course they don't tell this need before you filling up your personal info and having our data...

Very useful for international students without BankID

Very useful for international students looking for apartments. We very much appreciate the option to rent without needing BankID, which they allow you by paying 1-month deposit.
All payments are handled by Blocket, which acts as an intermediary between landlord and tenant - a safe and convenient way to avoid scams!

Renters be aware

Renters be aware!

We rented a house through Qasa and its obvious that they only cares about the landlords. As a renter you have no rights and no way of protecting yourself. When we moved out we were hit by an unreasonable high cleaning cost even though landlord only could show 5 small misses that was done. We left that house sparkling clean except for those minor mistakes. For that we got charged 3500kr. Minor mistakes that could be fixed by having a cleaning service come and clean 1hr. It is unreasonable to have to pay 3500kr for those few problem and they did not hesitate for one second to take landlords side. They say they will be unbiased in their process which is completely and utterly crazy that they even write that. It is so far from the real truth.

Qasa is a shady company that pray on renters!

Landowners know this and will put in their unreasonable claims and they know they will get paid because Qasa will always take their side. I would stay away from this company if you can but if you must use them DOCUMENT EVERYTHING when you move in and complain about everything so its on record. Not sure if it will still help because I don't think they even listen to the renters. When we tried to get in contact with them we discovered they have no phone number and no way of talking to somebody. They wont call me back when I put in a support request. Amanda, my contact, send me the bill and been been ghosting me since.

What a shitty and shady company. I can't believe this company are able to operate in a country like Sweden.

Hi Annelie,

I understand that you’re disappointed. The tenant is responsible for the move out cleaning at the end of a rental period. In deposit errand we strive for as just decisions as possible. These decisions are based on the information we’re given. If no documentation of the landlord’s approval exists and they create a deposit claim the approval can’t be used as a basis for the decision unfortunately. We can only go off of the actual documentation from both parties.

In your lease it states that the tenant is responsible for the move out cleaning. In those cases where the cleaning is inadequate in a specific area an entire move out cleaning won’t be compensated. In this specific case there were multiple flaws. A deduction for the move out cleaning has been made anyways, the full amount would be 4921 SEK but you are liable for payment of 3500 SEK.

Regarding getting in contact with us, there is no phone number but you can create a phone call booking, reach out to us by email or through our support chat. When it comes to deposit errands, these typically have a longer handling time since they’re handled by one specific agent.

We highly recommend documenting as much as possible for both parties when renting. The more documentation we have, the more informed and factually based our decisions are.

We were a tenant staying in a house…

We were a tenant staying in a house managed by Qasa. Upon move out we were hit with excessive payments for what they believed was an uncleaned house. The landlord told us everything looked fine, then claimed minor dust and one wall mark to be unacceptable and filed a claim which Qasa charged 3500 kronor. It is obvious the owner knows Qasa will support fradulant claim and make us pay. When trying to deal with the issue they are nearly impossible to contact (no phone numbers listed) and disregard their own policies. We know what they are doing here people. They make money by representing owners. They don’t care about the renters. If you are stuck in a corner and have to rent a property managed by them document absolutely everything when you move in. Take a picture of everything. I’m not sure that would help, sadly, but it’s the only chance you have. They owners know Qasa will give them money and Qasa gladly does it to continue their representations. It’s such a scam. The owners and Qasa should be ashamed of themselves.

I liked that the qassa blocket bostad provides a level of security and has a responsive support chat. I didn't like that questions about returning a deposit after the end of the lease are processed for a long time and representative persons from qassa can answer once a week. It looks like a bad service
