An embarrassment
You have Ruined a fantastic company in notary express, and should be ashamed , the best experience of a solicitor I’ve used and was planing on using them again imminently a 5 star company closed due to greed on your part no doubt

It is a sad day when Insurance companies can decide who can and cannot continue in business.
I have been a client and a friend of this firm for the last 3 years or so and have found them to be professional in areas they are practising.

When a large organisation can effectively squeeze a smaller out of business, it's not on. Especially when the business affected operates to the highest standards. I have used Notary Express for about 5 years and will be truly sad to see them go. Unlike QBE, who the hell are they!
Absolutely disgraceful
Absolutely disgraceful, how can you not insure a 5 star company? We have just sold our house with Notary Express, who from day one were fantastic. We engaged them because of their 5 star rating. For them to be squeezed out of the market is shameful. Thankfully our solicitor was able to see our transaction to a conclusion.

Cannot describe how awful I think this company is - they squeezed my law firm out of business after they had done a phenomenal job for us. Wouldn’t use them if they were the last insurance company left standing!

Awful company that badly treat small business to the point of closure.. Notary Express in Norwich were the most efficient, effective, caring, compassionate and professional firm we have ever come across.

a liability
Without any good reason or consideration for staff and clients they withdrew insurance from the solicitors firm I was using. Their inability to effectively evaluate risk and the profitability of a company is quite shocking. Seems like algorithms are used rather than educated decisions

We had a thriving, profitable law firm, with only 1 small paid claim in 8 years (much better than other law firms and I had even offered to repay it), with 24 staff, generating over £500,000 for charity, which I had built up through hard work over 8 years.
QBE trampled our ambitions into the ground and forced us to liquidate over Christmas. Words cannot even begin to express how awful this has been for everyone.
Did not make sense
We have a car and bike insurance with QBE, so I rang them for a quote for my caravan. The online process was not working, so I rang their call centre for a quote over the phone. Talk about over the top prices. The quote was 3 times what we are paying. Shop around.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. 6 months after a burst pipe in my wall cavity between my bathroom and bedroom, still no satisfactory result. The amount of time I have taken off work to allow many different trades people in is unreasonable to say the least, qbe tried to charge me twice for the excess, they try and wear you down with the unorganised service and speaking to numerous claims officers , and you have to do all the chasing. They want you to give up and fix it your self. Happy to take my premium for over ten years, but want to screw you offer when you want to claim. Disgraceful is the most polite word I can use. AFCA is the next step for me.
Good for van insurance
Changed insurance company through a broker in sept 2020; broker arranged for QBE to insure my vehicle. Unfortunately needed to make a claim only a month later. Found the QBE staff very helpful throughout and with backing of the broker got a quick and fair settlement so that I was able to get a replacement van and also claim for personal possessions. QBE staff were always polite and helpful whether by phone or email.
