I had a really positive experience with Sam Julian, ISO Consultant. He provided a really clear explanation of the ISO process and made everything feel much easier to understand.
His knowledge, delivery, and guidance were excellent throughout. Sam was professional, approachable, and took the time to explain everything clearly.

The consultant, James Hopton, was excellent throughout the review. Everything was explained clearly and in a straightforward manner, with a good understanding of what Jupiter needed to achieve for ISO certification.

The guidance provided made the requirements much easier to understand and helped simplify what initially felt like a complex task. James clearly explained what was required, what evidence needed to be in place, and where improvements were needed.

Overall, the support was extremely helpful and gave us greater confidence that we are progressing in the right direction with Jupiter’s Integrated Management System and ISO certification.

Simon Langston conducted the audit in a professional manner and was clear in his explanations of what was required of us and how the assessment was to be conducted. He was fair in his assessment of our performance.
Communication was hindered by a weak mobile telephone signal his end and non-arrival of e-mails from ours.
It would have been preferable if the list of requirements had been notified to us in advance of the meeting. That would have allowed time for a more detailed discussion of what was required and why it was needed.
Otherwise, it was a thoroughly professional performance on behalf of Citation.

Our consultant Andrew North was very Knowledgeable, friendly and patient. There was a lot to take in but it is great knowing that we have continuous support to get us through.

We've just completed our ISO 27001 Stage 1 consultancy week with Phillip Lwanga, and it was excellent. Phillip worked through the Annex A controls systematically using the Atlas checklist, took the time to understand how our organisation actually operates, and was clear and constructive wherever he identified a gap. He worked closely with us throughout the week to ensure we had no purple or yellow observations by the end of Stage 1, leaving us with a clear and manageable set of next steps ahead of the Stage 2 audit. Professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with throughout.

We had our ISO audits over the last three days now with Simon Langston. Simon takes a very professional approach to his work as an auditor, clear, precise and no surprises! We value the insights and suggestions that have come during the process, much appreciated. Thanks Simon!

Beware of the Auto-Renew Clause!

I have reposted this because it was removed, and I don't understand why?

While the services provided to us by Citation—HR, Health & Safety, and CQC compliance—have been generally useful and appreciated, I feel compelled to warn other small businesses about a serious contractual issue that has left us feeling misled and seemingly trapped in a £6,000 contract.

Like many others, we initially entered into our agreement in good faith. However, we were not clearly informed that the contract included a strict auto-renewal clause requiring six months' notice for termination—something we were unaware of based on our prior experience with Citation, where no such renewal clause had been present.

When we attempted to exit the contract, having missed the six-month notice deadline, we were told the agreement had already renewed for a further two years, and that there was no way to terminate early. The response felt rigid, legalistic, and deeply unfair—especially considering the clause was not properly flagged at the time of signing.

Citation’s recent offer to remove the next auto-renewal (but not the current one) only reinforces how problematic and unreasonable this clause is. If the clause were truly fair and transparent, such offers wouldn’t be necessary.

For a company that claims to support businesses with compliance and best practice, this kind of approach does not align with the spirit of transparency or fair dealing. It feels like a trap rather than a service, and it’s eroded the trust we once had in the relationship.

I urge others to read the small print very carefully and to be cautious before entering into any agreement. Once you’re in, you may not get out easily!
