Fast, perfect, exactly what I needed without any fluff or extra steps.

Ohhh... did I not see the fine print! My bad. I just jumped on the first "Free" QR code generator site I found and didn't look far enough down to see it was a "free" trial and then it was a monthly (or yearly) subscription from there. I printed some brochures etc and then someone pointed out within days my QR code was not working! DOH! All my bad but they sure were not very up front about the "free" part of this. I used Canva instead to create my "Truly Free" QR code with no strings attached.

Easy to use, totally free and goes right to my computer. Thanks QRcodecreator!

Very easy to create a QR code and they had some designs ready to go. Created a unique design with our logo in 5 minutes. The platform even helps with tracking number of scans!

If I could give it a zero, I would. Worst company. No phone #. Impossible to speak to anyone. They take long periods of time to reply to email. The kept repeating the same response in emails. Tried to get my money back by disputing charges. The fought me and won. Absolutely awful experience for the girl scouts. Lost almost $200.

Nothing is free. They require a YEARLY subscription.

It was very fast and easy to use. No glitches whatsoever. I was able to use the QR code generator to send out a form and from there get a lot of valuable information.

Scam pricing tactics and disgraceful customer service!

This company uses highly misleading dark patterns to trick customers.

They display a cheap "monthly" price on their page, but then instantly charge your card upfront for an entire year (over $100) without showing a clear financial summary before you click pay.

I realized the mistake immediately and reached out to their support team within just a few minutes of the charge.
Their customer service refused to issue a refund, hiding behind rigid "internal policies" and canned responses.

To make matters worse, their response times are terrible (consistently over 24 hours), and they literally slammed my support ticket shut unilaterally just to prevent me from responding!

An overpriced, basic product combined with predatory business practices and toxic customer service. Stay far away!

When you enter the website for a first time and make an account, there are no warnings that in order to keep your QR code, you will have to sign up for a paid subscription. My fiance and I used the website to make a QR code for our wedding invitations, and, a week later, got the email that they were going to deactivate our code if we didn't purchase a paid subscription. We had to re-design and reorder our invites because the only option for a subscription was for the entire year and would've put us out more than $100 for a single QR code.

I'm sure it's a good service if you make dozens of QR codes a week, but we were very put out by the website design that didn't offer clear information about the subscription policy on the first page, because if we had known, we wouldn't have used their service at all, since there are other websites that are legitimately free, instead of just advertising "free QR code maker."

If you read through several of the "Question Pages" you can find more details about their policies, but a lot of the links just take you back to the homepage, without showing you how to make a static QR code that you can (apparently) keep after your trial.

I have no problem with the site charging for their codes, but I wish the information had been easier to find, upfront, and forthcoming. I accept responsibility for not doing extensive research on all of the policies before downloading the QR code, but I genuinely had no idea I was on a free trial until I started several repeated emails from the site saying they were going to deactivate my code the next day if I didn't upgrade to a paid plan... a code we had already printed on all of our invites.

I wish that when the site asked me to make an account they simply said, "you are creating an account on a free trial. Your QR codes will only last 7 days." That would've been enough to leave me feeling informed.
