Dealing with Quality Power Washing and…
Dealing with Quality Power Washing and Paver Restoration has been the worst customer experience of my entire life. I contracted with them in May of 2025 to do repairs, cleaning and sealing of my front walk, my back upper patio and the large area of pavers around my pool. This included replacing the polymeric sand between the pavers at a total estimated cost of $10,000+
They failed to adequately sweep off the excess polymeric sand or swept it onto improper areas such as my automatic pool cover. They left large excess concentrations of the sand at various spots on all of the pavers. They then sealed all of that excess sand in place with a Cat 5 2-part sealer which cannot be removed except by sandblasting. They sealed in all of the grommets for my winter pool cover. They over-sprayed the sealer on doors, windows and various items near or around the work area. They sealed clumps of the sand onto my automatic pool cover.
I shared videos of the workers with the owner and he said the workers were not following procedures. "They should have carefully swept and picked up all excess sand. They should have used rollers to apply the sealer on pavers abutting anything. They should have covered the grommets. etc."
I personally spent hours upon hours with a razor blade scraping the sealer off of windows and other areas.
I had many conversations with the owner who apologized for the his crew supervisor (explaining his troubles). He assured me he would take care of the problem.
I spent more than $5,000 to have the automatic pool cover replaced. The owner sent a sandblasting company out to look at the mess. He was astounded by the mess. He said he could remove the sand but would have to sandblast all of the pavers. I followed up with the owner many times during the balance of 2025 and the owner kept saying he could not get in touch with the sandblaster. He failed to have anything done before the end of the pool season in 2025 but said he would get it done at the beginning of the season in 2026.
2026 came without him contacting me. I contacted him and he said he had reached out to another sandblaster and was just waiting for a response. I found a sandblaster myself (and the estimate for the job is $6,000). I sent that info to the owner. He has since stopped responding to me despite numerous emails and text messages.
I gave them a deposit of $,3200. I spent $5,000 to replace the pool cover. I will now have to spend $6,000 to sandblast the pool pavers. After that, I will have to pay again for proper sand and seal application.
Do not do business with this firm! They do not keep their word. I will probably take them to small claims court once the mess is cleaned up.
