Had the most amazing time at Malvern Hills Lodge, can’t praise the owner Lois enough, nothing was too much trouble, so helpful organising a surprise for my partner’s special birthday aswell and without Lois’ help it would not have been possible! So thank you from the bottom of my heart. What Lois and Richard have created is just perfect and so bespoke i don’t think anything else will ever come close to this, we had the most amazing time and made some forever memories in just a couple of days! Just priceless for us! We will be back soon. x

Amazing stay

We had a fantastic stay at the shepards hut. Everything was so lovingly set out. Setting was super. Ruth and Scott made sure we were well stocked with logs for our stay. Toilets and shower were extremely clean, Couldn’t of asked for a better experience, will most certainly be booking again to stay.
Lovely walk through the fields to the gun pub also.

Stayed in a treehouse in Wales, boasting miles of countryside and seclusion.

Hot outdoor shower! Yes hot outdoor shower but not private and no seclusion. Must take swimming gear to use outdoor shower unless your ok with the kids and adults able to view you from the farm house 400m in direct line of sight of the shower.

During Lambing season there are 2 Shepard’s that are supposed to come round in the field that boarders your 3ft fence at 3 time periods thorough out the day. However don’t make plans to shower for dinner outside until 7:30pm as they came around outside of these times at 6:30pm.

Getting away for seclusion peace and quiet??? You’ll be greeted by 2 children having an amazing time on the trampoline in the house 400m away. You will be able to see them and really hear them having fun.

This treehouse is absolutely amazing the attention to detail, quality of furnishings cleanliness I’ve not had better cleanliness.

To put another negative after such a huge positive is very unfortunate however required:
No ice blocks in the cool box - had to throw away spoiled food.
Not secluded.
No bikes provided.
Not secluded did I mention that one :-)
4 1/2 hours travel to get seclusion that’s not secluded.

Amazing wood burner and wood provided.
Lovely swing underneath treehouse next to lovely noises from the stream very relaxing.

Both Quality Unearthed and the owners were not interested in a refund as I emailed on the day of departure!
Before departure though I might add. Waited for a response for 1 1/2 hours then left.

Terms and conditions state getting in touch before you leave.
However if this in on the last day then it does not count apparently even though their terms and conditions don’t state that.

Be careful, if neither owner or company are willing to discuss your issues and only argue that you knew it was on the family dairy farm…. and you were supposed to be aware of that and therefore APPARENTLY you should be prepared not to have seclusion, even though it is supposed to be secluded!! not quite sure why they were arguing that one.
The treehouse was supposed to be set in the farm with seclusion direct line of sight??? (Seclusion)???

No refund issued they are not interested only to argue…

The setting is really stunning. It is so quiet and beautiful. The accommodation itself is small but has everything you need, and the hosts have the perfect balance between giving you privacy and making sure that everything is clean and working. The composting toilet took some getting used to, but we knew what we were in for when we booked it! Hot tub was definitely worth it, and the hosts provide so many thoughtful little touches such as crocs for getting from the hot tub up the path to the accommodation.

Quality, well thought out and amazing accommodation .
If you want to getaway from modern life , this is for you.
Loads of interesting wildlife including red kites, badgers , woodpeckers and foxes .
But the comfort of the accommodation will let you sleep comfortably over any wildlife noises

There were some miscommunication between the home owner and quality unearthed as home owner was not told of our booking. Good thing we did ring prior to check in to make sure that he was aware of us coming. And luckily it was not booked by someone else on the bank holiday weekend. Nevertheless the home owner was lovely and our stay at Sior was amazing! 5 stars for the accommodation. 4 unfortunately for the communication error

Our holiday on the boat was magical! We were picked up by the host from the ferry, as we didn't come with a car, but it is an easy enough walk.
The location is secluded, peaceful and beautiful - a real hidden gem!
The cabin itself is cosy and ideal for a couple. All the kitchen utensils are provided as are towels, toilet paper etc. Overall a great place to stay if you're looking to unwind and take in the beauty of South Devon!

A lovely cabin, so cosy and unique. I had the pleasure of hanging out with 2 cats who spent most of the night in my cabin with me keeping me company and cosy. Despite the (lovely) bathroom being in another hut so you have to go outside in the night if you need the look during the night, it wasn't actually that cold or unpleasant and the bathroom was warm, clean and had hot powerful water. The hot tub was also fun. Great location for exploring different areas, easy to find and very friendly, helpful host.
My only issue was there wasn't any washing up liquid, it wasn't much of a problem because I had to go to the supermarket anyway so just picked up a 50p bottle and left it there, but obviously it is something that is needed to clear up your dishes and looking at other reviews, it seems others had a welcome package of eggs or bread, which would have been nice, but that isn't why you stay at a place and hasn't put me off going back.
I highly recommend this place, for a unique stay, its preferable if you don't mind cats lol

Absolutely amazing place, the best we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was perfect, from the pre-arrival information and advice from such helpful and friendly hosts, to the finish and extra touches of the accommodation. Secluded, quiet, excellently equipped and just the most special place in a wonderful part of the country! We cannot wait to return.

Really enjoyed our stay a lovely 'Den' and just what we were looking for. Very clean and well equipped. We will return in the future. Great choice!

Amazing. Complete switch off, in beautiful accommodation, surrounded by stunning scenery. Will definitely be going back.

My partner and I stayed at Cwrt Celyn for our anniversary get away. The cottage is simply beautiful, it’s clean, warm and simply perfect for a little getaway. The hot tub was warm ready for our arrival and the views were simply stunning. We booked back in November last year and little did we now we would be treated by Storm Eunice but she didn’t put a dampener on our weekend because the hot tub and coziness of the cottage meant we forgot about any worry’s. The owners were in contact with us promptly when needed and very helpful. Thank you for letting us stay at this hidden gem and we will probably be returning in the future :)

We had a lovely time. The pod is really modern and clean set in an absolutely amazing setting. It's so calm and relaxing. The only reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5 is because the cold water for washing up ( constantly had to make sure there was hot wattet in the kettle) was an issue for us. This would make such a big difference and the fact that the TV can only play dvd's. Because we were staying in February, it was too cold to spend the evenings outside as we would have done in the summer, so it would have been nice to have a bit of TV in the pod.
However we would definitely stay again and I would highly recommend it to friends and family. Thank you for having us.

Genuinely lovely place to stay and the website photos really are an accurate story board of the accommodation and views!

A few nice little touches (milk, wine) on arrival, and offer of instruction on how to use anything (I opted for quick guide on the hot tub which was already warm and ready to go!!!).

Overall, a good quality accommodation, wonderful peaceful views, and a stunning part of the world I think more people should visit (my first time so I need to take my own advice and return).

My partner and I went to stay and it was lush! Lovely scenery and In a great location!

Only thing I would say is to have extra towels for the hot tub or shower and to have oil for cooking! Other than that it was lush and we’d defiantly go again x

Cannot recommend this place enough! Lovely owners! Beautiful place and stunning views! Perfect location. We took a trip to go below which was only a 20 minute drive from the lodge!

Was very well equipped, beautiful surrounding and countryside, lovely log burner when we could get it going. (We are not very good at log burners) but the lovely owners set it up for us when we arrived. Really enjoyed our stay! Would recommend!

A lovely family retreat for a birthday weekend. The cabin was very toasty with its heating including a log burner. The beds were very comfortable, endless hot water. Briefly saw the owner who was helpful & brought us more logs, coffee, hot chocolate, tea & biscuits. Thank you.

Such an amazing few days. Hot tub under the stairs was definitely the highlight of our stay. Cabin was really clean and tidy and was lovely to be welcomed with wine and chocolate. Chess board and games in the cupboard were great fun and we also enjoyed relaxing on the comfy sofa watching the telly. Couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thanks so much!!

This was a really gorgeous place to stay such a hidden gem.
It was almost perfect, unfortunately the dishwasher wasn't working and the holder of the shower was broken so didn't stay up when having a shower, fixing these minor things would make it a 5 star location
