Perfect get away.

In a busy world we live in. It’s great to unplug and get away from everything and this break was just that. Our hut had everything we need and everything we needed to do was in a short distance drive away, ie the coast and walks. Would recommend.

NEVER book through Quality Unearthed or…

NEVER book through Quality Unearthed or any of their 3rd party groups!! Total shambles, They take your booking... confirmation sent, full payment taken (even though this was supposed to be a staggered payment) and then just like that they cancel the booking!! They are selling the same holiday with totally different policies, and guess what!? .... have I been refunded?? NO!!! Its being processed.... that old bull.

Lucy and Max

My partner and I had the most relaxing and peaceful getaway , from the lovely hot tub to the cosy sleeping carriage we loved every part of this stay . Lovely touches from Jeannie such as the sausages and bacon and the birthday chocolate - we will definitely be returning!

Quality Unearthed Website Review Only

The website proved to be simple to use, the description of Bryn Shepherds Hut was as stated. Communication from QU was as expected, both confirmation emails and texts on the day. Travel directions were spot on.

Smelt so bad we left early.

Booked a glamping shepherds hut holiday in Melton Constable, Norfolk. The setting was nice, but nowhere was it mentioned on Quality Unearthed or the owners website that there were animals there. This wouldn’t usually be a problem but it’s hardly glamping when there was a pigs sty only 30 meters away from us. Next to that was a goats pen, and beyond that a chicken coop.

Being the countryside you would expect this, but this should have been mentioned on the sites. The smell was overwhelming, so much so we had to leave a day early as we couldn’t sit outside. There was also a general shabbiness to the place, not indicative of a glamping campsite.

Quality U earthed really should check these sites before taking them on.

Fantastic hosts! Sue, Roger, Raven and Inki made us feel very welcome.

We’d love to go back when we can. One of the best holidays we’ve had!

Poor service

When I arrived at the resort it turned out that I didn’t have a booking as it had already been pre booked by the owners as their systems weren’t up to date
The owners were able to accommodate so couldn’t fault them but quality unearthed for that matter promised to call but got nothing. I phoned them and the lady was rude saying ‘what do you want me to do about it’ after all it was their mix up and then told me to send an email and put the phone down

Cuckoo's Nest Woodhall Spa

We had a fantastic 2 night break here. Very relaxing in a beautiful setting. The owner left us home made biscuits, and some other essentials which was a surprise. Highly recommend.

Absolute Perfection!

We had the most wonderful time at Bensfield Treehouse! We were lucky enough to meet the lovely owners who gave us some walk-route recommendations. Everything was super clean and we couldn’t have asked for more!

Brilliant glamping experience

Brilliant glamping experience. The yurt and shower room are larger than they look in the pics, which was great. We barbecued one evening and made use of the coals and s’mores kits they sell in the honesty shed, which was a nice touch
.
Two things to note:
1) if Robin Hill (nearby theme park) is holding its Sky High hot air balloon event, the music can be heard in the yurt until 10pm. Thankfully this only happened one night and wasn’t a biggy, but I’d have found it frustrating if it had happened both nights of our stay (this particular event was a 4 day one).
2) There was no lock on the shower room door, which I figured might have been for child safety so wasn’t fussed. However, my kids came into the shower room 3 times whilst I was in the shower, and left the shower room and outside yurt doors open, leaving me in full view of the next door yurt’s garden and occupants! This could easily be fixed by using a child friendly lock (ie one that can be opened on the outside by parents) or by hanging the yurt door with the hinge the opposite way.

It is a tent, so you can hear things outside, but that’s normal with camping. There is a draft excluder running around the base of the tent inside, which does a good job of regulating the temperature. We went in summer and although the temperature dipped a bit, the duvets were brilliant and the beds were comfy so we all slept well. There’s a beautiful skylight in the top of the yurt so it’s a nice nod of the head to sleeping under the stars. We didn’t wake any earlier with the light coming in.

It was an absolutely brilliant stay and the owners were so friendly, accommodating and approachable - they made us feel at home straight away.
I like things to be practical and I can vouch for the fact that everything has been done really very well and it’s well worth a visit.
My husband refuses to camp after a bad experience, but my kids love it, so this was a fabulous half way option. Even my husband enjoyed himself!

Awful service.

I had a really awful experience with quality unearthed, they changed my booking multiple times and then by there own mistake had to cancel my booking completely. Even when asked they offered no sort of compensation at all. Extremely disappointed, I would strongly recommend to never use this service.

This is an email I sent to them over a month ago explaining everything which they did not respond to.

"Hello,
Yesterday I asked if your manager would call me as I would like to speak about the service I have received from your company. Seeing as I have not received a call I am now writing to you so please make sure this reaches the necessary persons of your team.

From start to end my experience with quality unearthed has been awful. Beginning with one of your team members making me send a confirmation of lockdown just so I could change my booking.

A couple of months after rebooking and having confirmation of that, I got a call from you asking if I still wanted to keep it as there seemed to be an issue and they thought I might have cancelled - even though I had not said anything since rebooking. You then made me forward the date change confirmation email that you had sent to me back to you. This interaction finished with you again telling me that my booking was in place and there was nothing wrong - as it should’ve always been.

A few days ago I got an email from you telling me that my booking was cancelled as the owner had booked something else in on those dates (it seems they didn’t know I was coming). I called to ask about it and got told that you would try to contact the owner. I called the next day to say there was nothing you can do. You said that you would look for something else in the same price range, time and area for me and if there were any free dates for the same place I had booked. I asked when I could expect to hear back from you and was told that you would email on the same day. I did not receive anything from you. The next day I got an email telling me that my payment had been refunded. This is when I called and asked for an explanation and to speak to a manager to sort some sort of compensation for all of this. I am now forced to email instead of talking to the manager directly as I have not been contacted.

I hope you read all of this and understand how shocking your service has been and how much you have messed me around. Please take into consideration that I have also had to plan time off around work schedules for myself and my partner to organise this. I have had the dates booked since February. If I had known it was getting cancelled I would have done something else however now that is much more difficult as it is much closer to the date we were meant to be going away.

To refund me and not offer me compensation is absolutely unacceptable and if that is what you are going to do then I will be making the way I have been treated very public."

We stayed at the Redwood retreat

We stayed at the Redwood retreat, it was the best trip myself and my partner have had, in a very long time. I would recommend it to anyone! Not a bad word can be said about the owners nor the Accomadation. We will be going back to visit later on in the year! Fantastic.
