I ordered a steering rack from this…

I ordered a steering rack from this company and it had a fault on it i phoned to send the part back they arranged for it to be picked up which I thought was brilliant as struggled to get back with work unfortunately my mechanic gave me my original rack back so I had returned the wrong 1. I took the rack back they had sold me and recieved a full refund. these guys were very professional and understanding. I dealt with ryan great lad. many thanks. nigel colloer

I will not be using them again

I will not be using them again! Ordered a part and was told would be delivered in 2working days, part never turned up. Phoned them and they only took out the part then and promised I would have it the next day. Part never arrived 4 days later and the customer services guy said, ‘What did you expect? We are a scrapyard’. I was so livid after wasting a whole week waiting. Poor poor customer service.

Better than BMW

Better than BMW, these guys knowlage of Top performance cars and the care they give to help me/us understand the issue with our cars is by far OUTSTANDING and believe you me my car had many many issues, Lee and Mark up front guys have always done their best to keep cost down without any negative impact on my car. There very reasonablly priced. The other guys who work in the back of the garage THANK YOU!!

I required a steering rack for my vehicle. I called upon Ryan, who was super helpful! informing me that he has one in stock. Just all round perfect customer service. I would highly recommend Quarry motors. Not only Ryan but the rest of the team was knowledgeable about what I needed and was super helpful. What a great team!

Incredibly disappointed

Incredibly disappointed - if you're urgency is next day delivery as quoted, then avoid! I don't leave reviews. Decided to order from Quarry on Monday after deliberating against other breakers who couldn't offer a delivery within a day or two. Called up and specifically asked if could be delivered for Tuesday to be told unlikely but will get the delivery out to you for Weds instead. OK, not ideal but great and paid £20 for this option. Get a despatch notification that day to say despatched but thought, I'll just assume it's Weds still. Take the day to be at home to accept delivery as the urgency to have my daughters car window replaced was crucial, coupled with I needed to be here to accept delivery of the item (as it was glass to check not smashed) Called up late Weds afternoon, to be told the item hasn't left yet and will be sent tomorrow (Thurs). Right, so that means (if I'm lucky) it'll now arrive Friday (bit of a calamity, considering I'd called Monday to ask for next day to be told Weds and now it's Friday) I asked for some or all of the delivery to be refunded (I did pay for next day after all) Only to be met with a brazen and blunt response of: nothing we can do it costs us "X" there not enough money in the order. Well get it right then and don't overpromise. My argument: If you order and make a point of calling up to ensure delivery for what should be next day, then three days later it still hasn't been shipped, how is that the customers fault? Nobody has contacted to say there was a problem etc either, I had to call up to find out - then at least offer some sort of contribution or refund towards delivery fee. Their argument: sometimes things can take up to 5 days and we've been busy. OK well don't advertise next day and put could be 2-3 days - at least your managing expectations then and nobody is let down. It IS terrible service, maybe I'm an anomaly, who knows. But I made my feelings clear, consequently asked for a total refund and let's hope there's no delay there! A sincere apology from them and a small refund on delivery should have been the outcome here, but no chance. If you **** up then at least hold your hands up and be accountable. Waste of time AVOID. and use a different breaker.

Quick and excellent customer service

I ordered a Bluetooth module for my BMW E93. Fast delivery however the item got damaged in transit and they sent me a replacement straight away. Best customer service received. I Would buy from them again and recommend to my friends and family.

Brilliant service and excellent value

Never used a breakers yard for parts before but was so impressed with the quality of service and speed in which my enquiry was dealt with. Despite ordering the wrong part Quarry Motors very quickly sent me out the correct part at no additional cost.
The part which was the inner door handle mechanism was excellent, great value and now installed.
Thank you and will certainly be using again.

Poor Management

Absolutely shocking customer service. Different staff giving different responses with little knowledge it would seem. The same part apparently fluctuated in price by £85 over 2 days. When querying this the condescending ‘manager’ told me I should have bought the part when it was first quoted at the cheaper price if it was that much of an issue. Spoke down to me like he was the founder of BMW not staff at a breakers yard. When item did arrive 4 days later than promised the quality was far from what I was sold. Overall a really poor experience which is disappointing considering the other reviews on here.

Hi Michaela, sorry your feel your experience with us was a let down. As a breakers yard, our prices do fluctuate to reflect the prices we have paid for our stock (breakers) and competition for the parts at the time. If we have an abundance of the same part, the price will be cheaper, if we have limited stock, the price unfortunately is more expensive.

Not to say this is the case now, but we are often subjected to customers claiming they were quoted less - this happens on a daily basis, so without a name - we cannot do parts at what was quoted days or weeks ago for the reasons above.

I presume the part was good value for you to have still ordered with us. If you are unhappy with the quality of the goods, we do have a 21 day return policy as per the terms on the bottom of our invoice.

All round excellent!

Exceptional service when ordering a replacement wing mirror through their eBay store.
Wrapping of the part was top notch, literally no chance of damage with the way it was sent.
Their communication team were speedy in replying when I had some questions.
No doubt I'll be buying from them again!!
