Do not use Quickbooks Payments/Merchant Account.
I just realized, they've have a large payment from a customer on hold for 2 weeks - for no reason!
It's a regular customer who used the link from invoice and made a payment.
So of course I'm calling to speak with them and to talk to an Agent is a 50-55 minute hold time!!!! This is ridiculous when I'm trying to run a business.
It seems like they go in a change settings
It seems like they go in a change settings on my account. I’ve changed the number in the system and it keeps putting it back to my old one which is now in the hands of a scammer and no matter what i do quickbooks keeps putting my old number back in. It’s a complete nightmare
The worst business when it come to…
The worst business when it come to banking in my life!!!
First of all that close my account around jun/2024 for that own personal reason. I never receive my money after the 120-160 days that made me wait. THAT GOT THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE!!! long story short I never got my money just was on hold for 3 hours

So if that take your money basic that just robbed you. some one in there company is stole hard. trump need to come after them I bet that can help fund the war if that do a full audit and compliance.

Extremely disappointing and frustrating…
Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with QuickBooks Payments.
Intuit is currently holding $18,502 of my business funds — money that was successfully withdrawn from my customer — and has failed to release it.
This issue began in September 2025, when my account was deactivated due to a dispute that later proved to be inaccurate. After nearly four months, the case was resolved in my favor. However, instead of releasing the funds, I was told I had to wait an additional 180 days from the date of the payment.
As of March 15, 2026, that 180-day period has passed, and the funds are STILL not released.
I have called multiple times and spent hours trying to get answers, but there has been no clear explanation or resolution. Cases are repeatedly opened, I’m given reference numbers, and then they are closed without any communication or outcome.
At one point, my call was disconnected, and my account was deactivated again without warning. There appears to be no accountability, no consistency, and no real customer support. It is extremely difficult to reach a live agent — it often feels like you are dealing with automated systems rather than real support.
Even more concerning, several support agents have indicated they are unable to get responses from their own accounting team, highlighting serious internal communication and process failures within Intuit.
Meanwhile, Intuit continues to hold funds that do not belong to them, creating significant financial strain on my business. Given the length of time these funds have been held, it raises serious concerns about whether Intuit is benefiting from retaining customer funds without transparency.
If you are a small business owner, be very cautious using QuickBooks Payments. When something goes wrong, you may find yourself unable to access your own money, with little to no support or transparency.
The online version Sucks
The online version Sucks. worst company ever. Can't understand customer service to learn this confusing never balances out system.. Stay with the desktop version. Its much simpler and easy to use and navigate.

It has been frustrating
It has been frustrating; during these six years, I have never received a good response. And they access my accounts without permission, make a complete mess of everything, and then charge me fines—it’s laughable.
I would give it ZERO if I was able
I would give it ZERO if I was able. We have been trying to get an employee off as an Admin for 2 years now. We have jumped through hoops. Corporation seals, ownerships, the President writing a letter. All our pictures, license...Nothing works. We gave the EVERY document they needed. They messed up and put everything on an old deleted account we had. NOW......they cannot change a thing They say they are protecting us??? So the employee we let go 2 years ago can go into this account!!! Makes alot of sense. Our president wrote a letter asking for her to be removed with ALL the additional information . THEY WILL NOT DO IT. I was also told my their customer rep that we cant cancel the account! We are not the admin. Wonderful thing to say to a customer. We are now going to Corporate and the President.

Charged even though I cancelled…
I have been a quickbooks user and ProAdvisor for several years, since at least 2009. The price of the program kept increasing exponentially, it seems I remember paying less than $600 for the desktop version to being charged over $4100 yesterday after cancelling the program and not updating my payment method that expired last year! They didn't even have a valid card and charged me anyway. Now they are telling me after taking my money instantly, i have to wait 7 - 10 days to have it refunded! This is not acceptable.

Intuit was sending me a code on my cancelled cel. phone. I tried to give them my new cel phone number but nothing worked. I will file my taxes for free on
FreeTaxUSA directly with IRS.
The subscription based model is a ripoff
The subscription based model is utterly predatory. The app crashes constantly in various ways. I get sent in sign-in circles and often can't even access the app to snap a receipt. Ironically, it often prompts me to write a review. Every time I write one, the app is unable to send it, giving me a "hmmmmmm something went wrong" prompt. If I knew more about accounting and software I would have ditched it years ago. It is overpriced slop.
Prices keep skyrocketing, customer service deteriorating
Prices keep skyrocketing. I tried to cancel on the day of renewal, when I was already charged, was told by the agent they couldn't initiate a refund, then told they could. But then I got an email denying my request.
Never activate payment via Intuit. It allows fraudulent chargebacks
If you are a small business that provides services and has larger invoices to get paid, do not use their credit card payment system. It is completely unsafe and unprotected. The client can easily request a chargeback and be awarded one. Intuit wont do anything about it.
Felt like I was getting scamed
I'm a canadian trying to load turbo tax 2025 yesterday
Call the toll free number.. The person I was speaking to was asking alot personal questions during our conversation trying to figure out why it wouldn't accept the license code, I suspect i was using window 10 instead of window 11, this young gentlemen said I has a trojan.. I would need to buy the trojan scanner from amazon.. I sent me the prices and was very pushy on this product at ~$300 for 3 years or $700 for the life of the PC.. I told him i wasn't interested... kept asking why not, I told him it's not his business to know why not.. Then he abruptly hung up.. very rude... I believe he wanted my CC # I suspect INTUIT to be scaming people. I would never use their product again.. I do have programs to protect my PC ... Be aware, there was a program on TV a few years back on them about works getting your CC#..
Horrible Customer Service!
Would give 0 stars like everyone else. I've been a customer for 4 years now and the platform is good to manage client invoices, payments, etc... What drives me insane is that they have 0 customer support. It has you talk with a robot - then you FINALLY get to the "more contact" prompts NONE of the links work they only redirect to an error page. They are obviously doing this on purpose to save money on customer service. I will now look for an alternative company.
I called to get a reset of my password
I called to get a reset of my password. Won't help until I buy software again. Said my license isn't valid. I guess don't buy it from anyone else and pay their high prices or they won't help you AT ALL!
RIPOFF
RIPOFF!
They just announced another price increase of almost $50 a month more. I am now up to $218 a month for a small business with 5 employees. I used to buy the Desktop edition on disk for a couple hundred every couple of years, now they are charging me that per month and its the exact same product as it was in 2006 when I started using it. They are out of control with their price increase. Last price increase doubled, now this. Disgusting business practice. I am going back to paper accounting because of this.
The worse ever!
The worse ever!! They've put my account on hold to later find out they have closed my account and still have my funds. Will never deal with them again. And if they don't release my funds lawsuit for sure.
