They are scammers

I rented a place in Castellon, we had multiple things broken when we moved in and the place was not clean at all. I can only warn everyone who choses QuickIn. On top of that, if you reach out to them it's extremely hard to reach anyone, they simply don't care. Additionally I haven't got back my deposit of 425 Euros, they keep answering us with the same automatically generated email and claim that they will send it later to us.

Extremely bad experience!! Unclear deductions, and misleading practices

I’ve had an extremely bad experience with Quickin. I moved out of my room on July 31st, and I only received part of my deposit three months later. Out of the €500 deposit, I ended up getting just €170 back, even though I left the room in good condition.
The reasons they gave for the huge deductions (such as a supposedly broken lock, extra cleaning fees, and vague “utilities”) were not convincing at all. They sent a brief explanation by email, but as soon as I asked questions or requested proof, I was completely ignored. No replies, no help, nothing at all.

And this is not an isolated case. A friend of mine also had to wait three months for her deposit. They only paid her after she made it very clear, even with strong warnings that she would take further action.

What also stood out: during the viewing, they pretend everything is kept clean and well-maintained. We told the girl, the new tenant, that the place was never cleaned, while Quickin staff were present. They acted completely surprised, as if they didn’t know there were no cleaners, even though they know perfectly well that no cleaning is ever done. It felt fake and misleading towards new tenants.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. The deposit process takes months, the deductions are unclear and unreasonable, and communication is extremely poor. Never again.

Quickin? More like QuickOUT!

This company is nothing but a scam. From the moment you sign the contract, you’re abandoned. Communication is a joke — we literally had to ask our neighbours to contact our landlord because Quickin refused to reply to us.

When I moved in, no one showed up. I didn’t even know which room was mine. When I finally figured it out, the place was disgusting: filthy, dusty, broken furniture, and NOTHING like the photos. I demanded it be cleaned, and their response was: “this is not the way to do things.” Unbelievable. A clean apartment is the absolute minimum anyone can expect when renting.

To make it worse, I reported damages before moving in, but later the landlord tried to charge me for them anyway. And my deposit? They took over 3 months to refund it, didn’t return the full amount, and gave ZERO explanation for the deductions — despite me leaving the room in better condition than I found it.

This is not a one-off case either. So many Erasmus students I know also had terrible experiences with Quickin — scams, lies, and endless stress.

Do NOT rent with Quickin. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and predatory. Avoid them at all costs.

SCAMMERS.

SCAMMERS.
Aside from all the hassle during your stay, which, believe me, you don't want to deal with, when it comes time to refund your deposit, THEY DISAPPEAR. They won't give it back to you! Beware of these scammers! Report them to the police and to the sites where you find their ads!

Deposit Not Returned After 3 Months

My daughter rented a room in Valladolid with Quickin. After moving out three months ago, they confirmed the room was in good condition but still haven’t returned my deposit. Now they are not responding at all. Very unprofessional and unreliable.

Quickin are scammers!!!!

Renting with Quickin has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had. My contract said that my €550 deposit had to be paid back within 30 days after moving out. I moved out on May 31st, and months later I still had to fight to get my money. In the end, they only sent me €500.
The contract also says that if the deposit is late, you get extra money for every day of delay. I never got that either. So they didn’t just delay my payment they also ignored their own rules.
On top of that, they always take €50 for “cleaning,” but there was no cleaning before I moved in, and no cleaning after I left. Other tenants told me the same. So that €50 just disappears for nothing.
Communication with Quickin was terrible. I had to message again and again, and when I pushed for answers, they tried to turn it around and make it seem like I was the problem. All I wanted was the money I was promised.
Quickin is not transparent, they don’t respect their own contracts, and they treat tenants unfairly. For your own good, don't rent here!!!

Terrible experience with Quickin…

Terrible experience with Quickin Valencia: deposit never returned, unacceptable management
I left my room on June 16th and today, September 5th, I still have not received back my 500€ deposit.
The excuse that "the utility bills have not yet arrived" is ridiculous: months have passed, other people have continued living in the apartment, and therefore it is impossible to correctly determine which costs belong to me. Who guarantees that damages caused by other tenants after my departure will not be unfairly charged against my deposit?
It is outrageous that Quickin demands maximum punctuality from tenants (with penalties even for just a few days delay in rent payment), yet completely ignores legitimate requests for the return of deposits, violating their own policy that states refunds must be made within 30 days from the move-out date.
On top of that, their customer service is useless. I keep receiving automatic replies saying that my case is “waiting to be transferred to an agent”, but in reality no one ever contacts me. This is nothing short of fraudulent behavior.
This is not the first major problem I had with Quickin. When I first moved in February into a flat chosen with one of their operators, the apartment was in a disgusting state: hair in the sinks, feces stains in the toilet, dust everywhere (to which I am highly allergic), a filthy kitchen and common areas, broken door handles (I could not even lock myself in the bathroom). For days, I was left alone in the house with a much older man I had never met before, which was completely unacceptable and unsafe.
Only thanks to the operator Marco I was able to change apartment, but I was forced to pay more for it. At that time, I was promised that because of the shocking conditions I had endured, they would not deduct the usual 50€ cleaning fee from my deposit. Yet, as of today, I have not received a single cent back.
This is scandalous and unacceptable. If I do not receive my deposit immediately, I will proceed with:
A formal complaint to the Spanish authorities
A report to European and Spanish consumer protection agencies
Legal action for fraud and misappropriation.

Avoid Quickin Valencia at all costs. Zero professionalism, zero respect for clients, and highly questionable practices that border on fraud.

ONE OF THE WORST AGENCIES FOR RENTING HOUSES IN VALENCIA

One of the worst agencies for renting houses in Valencia. Unprofessional and untrustworthy. My contract lasted 10 months (September 2024 - June 2025), and during the entire stay, surreal situations arose:
1) On my arrival day, which had been agreed upon for several months, I was forced to climb in through the window to access my room due to the lack of keys. When I contacted them, they informed me that since it was a Sunday and therefore a day off, no one could bring me the keys to my room and that I would have to wait until the next day, leaving me unable to leave to resolve some issues regarding my long stay.
2) They made "unannounced" checks at inopportune and inconvenient times, making absurd demands regarding cleaning, such as having to clean behind the washing machine, which was embedded in the cabinet and therefore unable to access it.
All this while threatening us with fines if we didn't clean as they required.
3) The house in general was not properly maintained. My room flooded twice because the toilet base wasn't sealed, and we had to wait a full 7 months to resolve this issue.
4) Unfortunately, I lost my keys during my stay, and as is only right, I had to replace them out of my own pocket. However, I won't accept a €25 fine, to be paid within 24 hours of the incident, and the return of the copy of the keys they gave me within 24 hours. Otherwise, the fine would increase by €10 per day.
5) Their contract has very strict payment terms, such as a €10 increase for each day past the deadline for paying the monthly rent. Yet, despite being very precise with all the payments, I still have to return the deposit corresponding to one month's rent two months after the end of the contract. When I contacted them, I was told first that I needed to check for any additional bills, and then I was informed that they were having technical problems.

Trust me when I tell you, don't make the same mistake I did by trusting these unprofessional and insincere people.

Don't rent there

The firm is not professional and I recommend to not rent via quickin.
When I first contacted the firm, everything went quickly, but kind of rushed. I was often asked via WhatsApp (which is okay to use, but rather unprofessional in my view) to submit all paperwork. After that I had lots of issues:
First, payment works with a 3rd party application. The website (rent your nest) is suspicious, on the one side because the domain is "the-roommate" but it says rent your nest on the website, on the other because I had to pay an extra fee of 11€ for each payment (which 77€ in total for what..?). Having a third party provider which I have to pay and submit my data to shouldn't be an option.
The second big issue was the arrival: No one was there. They say they send a code for the doorlock via E-Mail, but there was no code neither a link in the E-Mail. I was lucky that a roommate was at home to let me in and share her code with me. The next issue happened to my other roommate: His door got shut because of the wind, but it was locked from the inside. He and the stood outside the room and keys were still inside. He did not lock it, it happened by accident. It then was hard to reach the contractor and ask for help, which he didn't got.
The stay itself was okay, nothing too special. not too well equipped but fine for the price.
However, at some point the electric doorlock started to not work properly. At some points the door would not let you in. My guess is that the battery was low, so I send a video to the landlord to have it replaced. Nothing happened, no one ever came while I stayed.
Another issue I ran into was to change the contract. I knew 3 months in advance that I will probably not stay as long as I said. It was not possible to change it. But I got e-mails in case I wanted to stay longer. It is not a critic, but it would have been a positive point if this worked out.
But the worst experience was getting back the deposit: Almost 2 months after I moved out I haven't received neither an update nor the money itself.

Inhumane, don't care if you can't enter, illegal activities

Extremely terrible stay away from that company
My door key hasn't worked 3 times now, they don't care and only did something when I threatened with police and attorneys.
When they had to come to fix it the first thing they said was: we don't want to come for nothing or we are going to make you pay. Now I have the same thing and no one is responding me.
They only care about money and are extremely inhumane.
They also illegally come into the apartment without appointment and threaten that you pay 250 euros for cleaning service if not everything is extremely perfect. They criticized for example that there were water stains in the shower and this while spontaneously visiting without asking us if they could come.
It's illegal and inhumane.

Please don't do this to yourself and stay away!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!

Please, when I was looking for a room for my Erasmus Semester abroad I wish I would've read a review like this that just straight up told me TO NOT DO IT!

I have a had the worst experience with Quickin.es
The apartment was in the absolute worst condition. The bathroom was super old, the shower was broken down for a week (we had to shower at the beach and after 4 months got a 30€ compensation, thanks)
The kitchen was super dirty, not enough utensils, plates, pots for 4 people
and then... the beds. The beda were so queaky that I would wake up from the sounds it made when I would move during my sleep. In addition the amtress was so worn out that it had A HOLE in the middle where I would "fall into". Also I have never seen a matress so dirty in my life (and apparently it was only 2 years old...) I swear a matress on the street is cleaner that what I had to use.

After a lot if complaints and two months in we got new beds (but no new matresses) and I bought myself a cheap matress.

The best part ist that before you arrive you pay a 50€ cleaning fee so that the apartment IS CLEAN. Well, it was in fact not clean. It was super dirty, hairs everywhere, super disgusting.

This is only the worst parts, there were many many problems with this company and they just don't help at all.
Please DO NOT BOOK WITH QUICKIN.ES

DO NOT RENT WITH QUICKIN EVER

I can just agree with the majority of the comments. DONT EVER RENT WITH THEM.
Here’s why:
1. The contracts include bad conditions for the tenants. I guess they think that the foreign students don’t understand over complicated legal Spanish. E.g. they keep part of your deposit for a “final cleaning” (in my case 50 of 350 Euros) although you are obliged to leave your room clean.
2. You have to pay everything through a platform - there is no other option. The platform charges you extra money every month for transferring the money which raises your rent approximately 7 euros (this of course isn’t mentioned in the contract).
3. The rooms are not as new/ clean/ nice as they may look online. I moved in and after a few days I recognised that there was actually mold in my room. Only after insisting persistently they sent someone to fix it.
4. They try to blame you for everything that gets broken in the flat although it is obvious that it is because of a rushed through and cheaply done preparation of the apartment.
Our door didn’t work multiple times causing my flatmate a nightmare because he had to sleep on the floor outside the flat one night. They blamed us although with an electric door it is very unlikely it is your fault when it just stops reacting to the codes.
5. When you arrive it seems to be normal that you don’t have keys for the main entrance. You have to pray that one of the flatmates or neighbours is at home and willing to open the door.
6. They don’t take any responsibility. If you have a problem - after blaming you for it - they try to escape communication by telling you someone else is responsible. Besides the 50 euros they kept more from my deposit because of “high use of water/ gas” without showing me any proof of that like actual bills. It’s been months and I am still waiting for them to reply.
So, please, do not help them to continue with their shady business and do not rent with Quickin.

Badly organized/dishonest company

I chose this company for my Erasmus experience. At the beginning it seemed nice. We signed a contract they also gave me an access to an online portal through which the payment were paid. However, the problem started when I wanted to to move in. My code from the doors did not work.... So I was waiting with my suitcase in front of the doors... unable to get in.... Anybody can imagine how stressed I was... Thankfully employee of this company arrived. He was not able to speak English but he tried to be helpful... Yet, I did not get the code from the doors neither the key from the front door. Employee was as surprised by this situation as me. So, I was a prisoner in my own room. If I went out I would not able to get back in. My flatmate had the same problem. Thankfully, my other flatmates had functional door code, so I was able to get inside by using their code. Nevertheless, I got key from the main door only few days after my arrival and I had to rely that someone is going to open the front doors for me. I would be somehow able to forget about this inconvenience, because at least the employees from this company communicated with me. Reason why I give only one star is that they have not returned me my deposit even though I tried to contact them in every possible way. They are consciously breaking the contract we signed and do not even try to make any excuses... they simply ghosted me....

Where to start with these guys...

Where to start with these guys...

1- There was noone at the apartment to open the door for me when I arrived. I had to wait in the street until flatmates were home.
2- The sent me a letter threatening legal action for having not paid money I had already paid them.
3- They then tried to change the agreed rental price, trying to charge 100 Euros more than the agreed price, even though I showed them in writing the agreed price.
4- After I had been in the apartment for 3 weeks they informed that that I had to move out to another apartment for the whole month of July.
5- They are still trying to charge me for having "damaged" a shower, when shower was fixed 3 days after I moved into the apartment, any "damage" occurred before I even set foot in the apartment. This is still ongoing.
6- Noone from the company, at any point, has ever offered any apology for any of these issues, on the contrary, there are rude and argumentative.
7- Avoid this company at all costs.
