A Complete and Utter SCAM!

A complete and utter scam. Avoid at all cost! Was selling a vehicle on FB and approached by someone with very broken English who was insistent that I provide a QVC report. I smelled a rat and when looking at the site, it confirmed by suspicions. Do not get caught out. It's a bunch of unscrupulous people trying to extract £29 from your pocket for nothing!

It's a Scam website

It's a Scam website. Especially when you are selling a car on Facebook, someone would try to be a legitimate buyer and will ask you to get QVC report from quickvincheck.
I almost got scammed and realized in few hours. Contacted PayPal and PayPal refunded my money.

Website has no support number or contact details.

One fraud Gmail email address which never replies you back.

One contactus form which does nothing.

Facebook scam Vehicle Advertisement-quickvinscheck

I was contacted by Noah Liam, asking whether my car is still up for sale. Initially Noah ask me whether I have a QVC. then I ask what does it mean, (I have heard about HPI check but not QVC)
He said it will save his time if I perform a check on www dot quickvinscheck dot com website. Then I realised its a scam to get my bank details.
I will take him round and round and round so that he will think I'm dumb and will give him a hard time.

Total scam

Total scam. Marketplace approach then gets you to buy a useless report. Seems very common these days. I was lucky and used PayPal so got the money back quickly.

Facebook marketplace scam

Just wanted to add my review as reading other peoples helped confirm my suspicions!

Scam on Facebook when selling a car. Direct you to a shifty website and say they reimburse you “when they purchase” the car! Screenshotted the reviews from here and they tried to play innocent before blocking me.

It’s a scam

It’s a scam! Contacted on Facebook saying they would buy my car if I provided them with a QVC which is something the person buying should do themselves.. they sent me a link to quickvins but I’m not stupid enough to fall for it. Just look at all of these reviews. Person on Facebook has a weird name and their page completely private.
They blocked me once I told them that I knew it was a scam

Selling my car on Marketplace

Selling a car on facebook, and someone pretends to be interested and harps on about a QVC report, and then directs me to this shady website which is out of date, and when I confront him blocks me on facebook.

Please report the users to facebook, which isn't the easiest as they block you first!
