HORRIBLE NEW LOGO. THE OLD ONE HAD A CUTE WOMBAT ANIMAL FACE. LITERALLY THE CUTE ANIMAL WOMBAT FACE IS WHAT ATTRACTED MY EYESIGHT AND CURIOSITY. WASN'T EVEN THINKING OF TRADING OR LOOKING AT THAT APP AT ALL AS I WAS IN GOOGLE PLAY STORE.IT WAS BOTH FRIENDLY AND POSITIVE FEELING THAT GAVE ME LOOKING AT IT. AT THE SAME TIME WAS SIMPLE AND MEMORABLE ON THE EYE. ALSO WEIRDLY ENOUGH SOMEHOW GAVE THAT NATURE POSITIVE ATTITUDE. WHICH BELIEVE IT OR NOT GIVES THE SENCE OF COLLECTIVNESS, COMPLETION IF YOU WILL. ANYTHING NATURE RELATED THAT IS CUTE OR BEATIFUL GIVES A POSITIVE VIBE AND A SENSE OF CONNECTION.
Otherwise great well organised simple and easy to use platform. All is there including fees and taxes taken from the client of the app. Easy to set up and pretty much transparent. Great learning hub as well,for people that haven't done any trading before a specially and wanna have a taste and see if it's for them. I haven't really put much in or got to make anything out of it to withdraw so can't really say about that. But for sure easy to set up and understand and keep in mind that nobody can control the market. You can only choose to trade or not to trade. And it takes money and time to turn profits on the market where ever you go to trade. There is always a risk. But not like in gambling. In trading the successful turnover of a company is the goal and it pays off to anyone involved. Businesses are usually in it to win it and the more support they get the higher they go and the bigger the payouts.

I think the ISA fees are too expensive
I think the ISA fees are too expensive. The share offerings are not great IMO, no opportunity to invest in AIM listed shares or similar alternative investments.
Overall, if I was to spend a period of 3 years not contributing and only had a small amount invested I could end up being back at £0 after charges have been removed.
What happens if there is no money in the account, how do you bill customers?
Although it’s cool to have a S&S isa that allows exposure to individual shares without traditional dealing charges it overall doesn’t suit me as I’d prefer UK alternative investment options rather than just U.S individual share options.
Some of us are old fashioned and prefer giving our monies to UK firms if we can in some fashion.

Our ISA fees are one of the lowest around, with a subscription fee of just £1 month and a platform fee of 0.10%, we also don't charge a fee per individual trade like some companies do. We also offer a range of services with our ISA account such as fractional shares, instant deposits and roundups that other companies do not offer. Our ISA does deal with UK shares; it is through our Instant GIA that you can only invest in the US stock market at this time. We are adding new shares to our portfolio all the time, for example in May we dropped the absolute mother-load of top companies, available to trade instantly from just £10 on our instant GIA account. At Wombat, we only provide access to the stock market. We cannot control or predict stock performance. You are correct, if you did not contribute for a couple of years, you may end up with a balance of £0.00, this is the nature of investing; the stock market is all about ups and downs, sometimes there are up periods, sometimes there are down periods. Unfortunately, we have no control over this, and just provide access to the market. If there was no money in your account (no investments or cash balance) then your account would simply stay at £0.00. I would like to assure you that Wombat is a UK firm and by investing through Wombat you are supporting a small UK business.
