The whole system is a nightmare only persevered as the price was the best.
As I have had previous policies with Aviva getting onto the system was impossible. The robot bot chat useless passed to various named bots all useless.
In the end I used a new email address to make a new account!!!

I made a claim today under my home emergency cover policy for a leak in my kitchen and was told no-one could come out for 7 days!! Absolutely ridiculous. I now have to pay privately to have the leak repaired as I obviously can't have a pipe leaking into my kitchen for 7 days! What is the point in my home emergency cover? Absolutely furious.

I recently needed to add a named driver to my policy but couldn’t access my online account, as I no longer had access to the email address linked to it and didn’t know my password. Because of this, I had to go through the live chat service.
The agent was extremely helpful – they assisted me in adding the named driver and also helped update my email address on the account. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were really polite and efficient throughout.
This was my first time contacting Quote Me Happy since taking out my policy, and it was a really positive experience. Great customer service!

Again I have renewed my house insurance policy with the same insurance company, as usual I checked for cheaper annual cover but I was surprised that it couldn't be found. In fact I decided to add the reasonable priced emergency home cover to my policy for peace of mind. Long may it continue without any need for a claim.

Reasonable quoted price, with lots of choice of additional cover. I decided to renew. However, navigating the renewal on-line when I wanted to make minor changes to my vehicle and personal details was confusing and I'm still not convinced that the insurer has picked up the amended details. The help ChatBot was of no use whatsoever.

Initially no issues until renewal time. Price went up, whilst deciding whether or not to stay and when I did go to pay, the offer from them had been withdrawn and had gone up even more which was ridiculous. After that shock, went with another insurer. Unfortunately you need to cancel the policy even if it runs out as this company will still charge admin to cancel. I had no idea until I got a letter asking to pay up for the next year, interestingly, it is for the original amount they first offered not the next hiked price they offered? Confused, so am I!!! If someone does not renew surely that means they don't want your bloody insurance? I logged into my account and physically changed it to cancellation fearing debt collectors turning up and ended up paying for the privilege - disgusting. No one you can talk to either and the online bot needs to be dismantled absolute rubbish! I had to pay the admin fees etc to cancel and get them off my back even though I have insurance elsewhere, and I can assume that if you still ignored them they would send letters asking for money for admin crap they use as an excuse to make money, shame on you. This is where they get you so beware!

Very unhelpful "customer service" if you can call it that. Being unable to physically speak to a human is insanely frustrating as I have found out the hard way and will not be using ever again for insurance. "Person/robot" who knows, that i messaged claimed they had checked things yet clearly had not. Did not actually read what I had typed so had to repeatedly type things again. Most frustrating company I have tried to deal with and would not recommend to anyone.

Very difficult to rate until I need assistance but price competitive no problem on renewal only gone up by £20 with all things considered not too bad could have got it for a little bit less but decided to stay. If and when I need to make a claim I will rate again.
