Absolute Trash in my opinion

I got a pretty big box from around the time they were going Metal to Resin, and am only just now getting down to them. The metal models were actually fine but the majority of the models then, and all models these days are now resin, and The Resin is *BAD*, choice of caps deliberate.

The models are covered in mold lines, have terrible issues with pitting and bubbling, have bad joins (and mold lines in the bad joins), are very difficult to assemble due to the poor marrying of pieces, and to top it off some came bent.

The resin is incredibly brittle and can be snapped easily even from slightly firm handling. They've also made many parts really thin and flute-like, further exacerbating the issues. Finally the models all have that oil slick on them that is super-tough to remove even when scrubbing them with a toothbrush, -I can't get paint to properly adhere to them at all.

Some miniatures I've just thrown away, am contemplating doing that with the rest, and these models are expensive too.

This company is all fancy marketing and the actual product is poor. To be honest these figures are the worst I've ever seen, and I've been playing miniature games since 1998.

Raging Heroes

Raging Heroes - Lust Elves

Iv looked at Raging Heroes miniatures for a while now but iv always been put off as i dont really like to order from abroad or from a company i dont have 100% confidence in but as im building a slaanesh army i decided to take the risk.

I ordered a special offer bundle that consisted of a character [ ill use as a daemon prince ] and 2 units of 10 mantis warriors including command [ use as daemonettes]. IV always liked the Juan Diaz old GW daemonettes but now days they cost upto 20 pounds a miniature and are not always complete or in good condition. Raging Heroes mantis warriors seemed to be a good alternative ip .

The order arrived 7 days later on a saturday ,but excluding the weekend it left France after 2 days. Instantly i realised that my fears had come true as most of my order was missing, i recieved just 10 mantis warriors which meant i was missing 10 warriors and the character. On the monday morning i recieved a reply giving me instructions how to upload photos ect, after 3 days i recieved another email appologising and offering me a choice of characters as compensation which arrived 5 days later along with another character i bought to use as a mounted daemon lord of slaanesh once i recieved the confirmation email .

The quality of the miniatures is fantastic, with only minimal clean up. Anyone used to working with resin will be very happy with these miniatures, for those that are not used to resin a small card giving cleaning instructions is provided along with the bigger cards showing how the minis look aswell as online building instructions [although i havnt used that part of the site ]. The miniatures themselves arrive on small part sprues, each sprue is one mini with the character containing multiple sprues. All the mantis warriors have completely interchangable parts, seperate legs, body, arms and heads allowing infinite variations . The characters are made to complement the troops and are available at several scales . My characters are built as the picture shows but i have future plans to combine kits for conversions with what appears to be minimal fuss.

I just want to mention the brilliant customer service aswell as Raging Heroes website. The website awards points for lots of different ways, from visiting the store to buying minis and also a big amount for your birthday. This allowed me to get 10 euros off on only my second purchase but awards can be spent on varius amounts or even % off purchases and can be built up\combined.

Im very happy i took the leap and eventually ordered from raging heroes , despite the hickup at the beggining that actually gave me confidence in the company knowing that issues would be corrected, i now have 100% confidence in them and will be adding many more miniatures from their excellent ranges very soon.

Missing a large model completely, missing parts

For full disclosure I have reached out to the company and am awaiting another response to see if they’ll be fixing it but I’m really disappointed for the amount of money that I’ve spent and the fact that this is my first order with them. Their marketing is great so I thought the experience would be as well. I ordered several items including a pack that contained four larger scale models and the largest one was missing completely. I’m super bummed because shipping from France to Alaska is not a fast process. I am also missing a few pieces from the other models. I was also surprised that the larger models all shipped in ziplock bags when (in trying to figure out exactly which parts I was missing) it appeared that other people received them in their own boxes, if that makes sense.

The models themselves are pretty decent, the detail is great and the cleanup/prep time didn’t bother me. I initially thought everything arrived in good condition but as I was going to assemble some of them it became evident that very small details (like the ends of hair or the tips of spikes) had been broken off and I think this is just due to the fact that they were shipped loose in a plastic bag on their sprues.

If they ship the missing model and parts and it arrives in the same condition (loose in a plastic bag, chipped and missing parts) I will not be ordering from them again, I’ll stick with Warhammer for my larger scale fantasy models!

Absolute trash and a waste of money

Absolute trash and a waste of money and time.
Mold lines everywhere, half the minis don't have details, plastic is flimsy and crooked.
Raging Heroes doesn't respond to any of my e-mails about these issues and instead they spam me with emails urging me to review them. So here.

Needs some tweaks, but definitely worth considering.

I feel like Raging Heroes is good in the terms of being decent at delivering miniatures.
They offer a wide variety of models, with some of them even looking as a great replacement for some wargames.
I do have a few pointers.

Quality can go up a tad, as some of the minis took some work to get the excessive resin off (some parts were clogged up a bit was relatively easy to fix however) For the price you offer them, i do have a better expentacy of what the model should be presented as. (Maybe an idea to just cast them whole and not just in parts?if this is attainable of course)

I had 2 issues, one was that i was missing parts of a model and the other issue was that something did not get delivered.
They reacted very fast to this matter and fixed it very fast. Several days later i got replacements in the mail.

Verdict:
Raging Heroes, your miniatures really have potential, just not sure wether the price - quality range is up to par at this very moment.

Disappointing

Bad. I have 40+ years building painting 20mm to 30mm miniatures.. not counting 1/48-1/25 scale.
The advertising and marketing is very good. The 3D models and proofs , show well. But the actual miniatures are not good, and do NOT hold up to other older miniature manufacturers. There is a reason they have recently bumped up the size to 35mm. the scale (though maybe accurate) is too small.
Detail is nothing like the photos, and all the praise??, probably written by Soy Boys.
There are many better miniatures out there, and considering differences of taste, you'd do better to go with instincts and do research. I spent 120$ but it was in my opinion, a waste.
I have soy boy friends that will take these off my hands.

rather throw away the money

I've made a big order of hundreds of euros.
the cast was very bad so i also had to throw away some of the minis.

the placement of the sprues was bad too, since big connections can go halve through the details like the face, ornaments etc.

i've sent requests and pictures to the costumer support without a response.

thats the worst experience i've ever had with a miniature company and i avoided resin products for years because of this.

I do like the look of their models but they come with glaring issues.

I do like the look of their models however, every order i have placed with them, which is roughly 10 orders so far, has had problems.
these problems have ranged from
The wrong items being shipped even on small orders of 1 or 2 items.
Miscast items so bad they cannot be fixed and replacements were sent after proof. (this has happend on nearly every order aswell).
And my last order which i am still waiting on (which is a few items plus a replacement due to wrong item) was orderd 2 weeks ago, posted last week and the tracking is still showing as not even yet received by the french post office. when contacting them they say they have posted it and the tracking will update.....it has been over a week since leaving their warehouse and the postal service still say they are still waiting to be given it.
they will not do anything about it just tell me to wait......post from france to uk usually takes 4-5 days minus weekends not two weeks and still not even showing on the french postal tracking..
On top of all that the models range so much on quality of resin from mediocre to extreamly poor and most of those amazing details are obscured beond fixing buy flash and blobs.

Great sculpts but poor quality miniatures, poor customer service.

tl;dr Poor quality / totally miscast casts, and extremely slow customer service (27 days and 20 emails since ticket opening, still no resolution).

After purchasing two large packs of minis, which were not cheap (comparable if not more expensive than other "boutique" resin miniature manufacturers), when I recieved them all of them had a rough, imperfect texture unlike most the clean sharp details expected from a resin miniature (bumpy surface, excessive flash).

Not only that, but both shipments had excessive amounts of bubbles, with the second having EVERY single sprue of 20 having some form of bubbles in the resin. Overall, more had defects than not.
Some came with large gaps where the cast had not been pushed together correctly leaving trenches along the cast line (think inverted mould lines)

After reporting this, and after a few emails back and forth, I produced full annotated list of every sprue and its code, with annotated pictures, that had [what I'd personally consider] unacceptable / unfixable defects.

The last folder of pictures and list of issues were sent on 11th Nov, it is now 27th and they've still not notified me when / if / which they'll be sending replacement parts.

All in all, the sculpts are amazing, but don't be fooled: The end products you could recieve are demonstrably far lower quality than their competition (From experience, I've bought or worked with resin miniatures / parts from Forgeworld, Anvil Industries, and Wargame Exclusive, all of which have had significantly better quality, and been bubble free.)
