Update: Following an initial bad experience where I got blocked from a pre paid subscription I got contacted by RapidAPI who delivered excellent service.
I fully stand by my claim that it is wrong to block access when cancelling a prepaid subscription and hope RapidAPI will change this in the future.
However I also can't deny that their customer service left me with a positive experience and I will continue to support them.
Paid subscriptions are immediately terminated upon cancellation and the paid contingent can no longer be used. You will not be informed of this when you terminate a subscription.
Terrible! Most of the API's are provided by scam developers. The presentation with bunch of lies looks so real that can deceit you pretty quickly. I have learned the hard way by integrating betterdoctor api on my Android application. Now I am about to use another api RAWG Video Games Database, it says " we are gladly sharing our 350,000+ games, search, and machine learning recommendations with the world!" But! It always gives only 20 list of games! Each time its the same! What a lie! There is no page limit or query. This RapidAPI should be blocked or label as just Test API. This is a super scam to developers like us!
don't list your business there. they cannibalize your revenue and ruin your service
For a start the platform seems great with a wide variety of API's. Easy to setup and for a good price.
They charged me for going over my request limit even though I have proven to them that I didn't. They have their own interpretation of their limits. The customer service is very stubborn and very unwilling to help.
