Fantastic service, can’t fault!

Andy came out to repair and replace my leaking radiator. He came out on an initial visit to stop the leak and did this immediately out of hours. He was pleasant, polite and professional. Transparent with the quote and offered annual boiler plans etc. He went through all the options I had with the radiator etc. could not fault this company. The admin team are brilliant as well, really helpful and again transparent with pricing, no hidden costs. I’m and relieved to finally find a decent tradesman. Could not be more grateful and thankful for the brilliant service received. I will only use this company now for gas and plumbing needs. Fantastic service. Thank you so much.

Installation of 50kw system boiler and 300l water cylinder

Job: installation of a new system boiler to replace 3 combi boilers
We chose Rapid Response to undertake a significant job in our large Victorian house for a number of reasons: 1) the reviews on Trust pilot were great (just shows how important it is for businesses to be reviewed); and 2) it was a small family business, which, to me, made it more likely that they would do their utmost to get it right and do a good job, as well as provide an overall good/great service. We chose well. From the outset, i was impressed with Andy who came over to assess the job. he promptly provided a very detailed quote of what the job entailed - not some flimsy whatsApp message with a figure, but a full breakdown of what would be involved and what products would be required and installed. this was very impressive. Before accepting the quote, the heating engineer, John, came round to discuss the logistical aspects of the job - eg look at pipework, radiators, assess the current system and discuss options for where the new system could be fitted. Ours was a complicated job - we had 3 boilers, each boiler covering each floor of the house. As a single occupancy home with 4 people in it, this system was ridiculous (but it was in situ when we moved in 18 months ago). plus the boilers were old and the system inefficient. John outlined all of our options and advised what, in his professional opinion, would be best for us in our home. In our case, installing a 50kw system boiler and water cylinder. He did, however, discuss alternatives, such as replacing the combi's like-for-like, because i wanted to be clear about our options so i could make an informed decision. I was very impressed by all of this. The quote was competitive as well, but even if it hadn't been, i would have chosen them anyway due to the level of expertise and general approach. The work started within a few weeks. it was scheduled to take between 3-4 days. John and Jay attended each day. The work was quite invasive as old pipework had to be disconnected and new pipework installed. They were very tidy and having them in the house was not a problem at all. Both extremely friendly and professional. We encountered a few problems during the installation of the system, namely the hot water not working as efficiently as it should have been. Our house is old with a lot of pipework, so it was never going to be an easy job. The problem was diagnosed and remedied pretty much immediately. Brandon the electrician installed a new twin Hive on the ground floor to control water and heating and he connected our existing Hives to the new ssystem . Ben also attended and between all of them they delivered a fantastic new system which works brilliantly. The hot water is scorching and the radiators are hotter than they ever were. The Hives are very responsive - receivers were fitted by Brandon given we have 3 hives over 3 floors. We are Extremely happy with the job and we would not hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone. They provided a personal, yet very professional service and definitely went the extra mile to ensure we were very happy with the job.

Great stuff

Our existing boiler packed up and was written off by our insurer. So the hunt for a new boiler and setup was commenced. Found Rapid Response via the Which report recommended installers.

Andy was prompt on the back of my enquiry, we discussed different options specifying up for our needs. A range of options put together the team were happy to answer my questions, I also was able to talk with their lead engineer re other options and choices. This was super helpful allowing us to hone in and finalise our choices and combination of system boiler and an unvented cylinder setup.

Installation was arranged very quickly, the team was able to juggle their schedule as we had been without heating for over a week. So it was approx 4 days from quoting to install in total which was quicker than we had expected.

On the day John and Ben worked hard to put the system together, removing the substantial older boiler and cylinder. A fair amount of pipework and fitting into the available space happened really efficiently. All done in a day and we were on. The team took their time to make sure all was up and running, radiators bled, water hot as expected. The next day the electrician was through and did some tidy work to get all the remote Hive working and laying out the electric wiring appropriately and thinking ahead should future changes needed.

So in summary the team were super helpful, attentive, helped hone the specification and were well organised and competitive on price. Their service packages also very reasonable and provide peace of mind as well as secure the 12 year warranty on our Worcester Bosch new boiler and Tempest cylinder. The office team were also very helpful, documents, warranty all registered for us.

Would definitely recommend Rapid Response, they are a local family business who seem to carefully consider their commitments and wanting to provide great service. Thank you!

Brilliant service from RAPID RESPONSE

Excellent service from Rapid Response

Rapid Response has provided excellent service for the replacement of a new boiler and other bits and pieces. They were always prompt at answering email enquiries and always polite and informative. The boiler replacement went very smoothly: the engineer who did the work cleaned up and completed all the work carefully and in good time. I would have no hesitation in recommending them

Like their name - Rapid Response

Like their name - it was a rapid response. I was faced with no boiler on the Tuesday and by Friday morning I had an engineer in my home. Andy spoke with me on the Tuesday to understand what my current boiler and what my requirements were for a new boiler.
The engineer, arrived on time and by lunchtime my home was warming up nicely. Everywhere was left clean and tidy, and I was left with a heating system that is efficient. Sensible advice and a good price too. Thank you

This service was incredibly good can…

This service was incredibly good can not recommend them enough. Freezing cold weather and boiler broke they came the next day . Steve the engineer was professional very tidy even covering the carpet with a protector . Was done in a morning arrived on time and even hovered and out all the bits and bobs back where they were . Want to thank Steve very much we were nice a cosy last night .

Amazing work very pleased

Amazing Work from Rapid Response today - Specifically Lewis who attended our premises today faced with what was supposed to be a straight forward drain clear, this was not the case. After much determination an impeccable knowledge base and a great skill set Lewis managed to resolve our problem whilst being very friendly, polite and informative throughout. Lewis is an asset to the business he left no mess and avoided causing any damage or disruption to our business.
