I regret using Jason Evans of Rapleys. My interests were not looked after, inadequate data was collected at the start of the project and I was left to negotiate a settlement alone. Avoid avoid avoid would be my advice.
I had a visit from one of their surveyors in October 2025 with regard to fitting solar panels. He left and took with him without my consent or knowledge the special key to my attic area. I need access to that space daily because of the items I store up there and now I can not get up there. I emailed their office but they did not even bother to reply. That shows the kind of company they are.
In my 20 years of property development experience I have never encountered a company quite so unprofessional and incompetent as Rapleys LLP. My issue was with a property I made a successful offer on yet the property didn't even have a legal right of access. It has taken OVER A YEAR for Rapleys to negotiate the easement with little enthusiasm and scant regard for timescales. Their approach is so laid back they wouldn't do anything unless constantly reminded to do so. Even escalating the matter to partner level had no effect and I was met with a familiar wall of indifference. I will never use this company again and suggest you do likewise. The fact they call themselves 'consultants' is frankly laughable, and utter nonsense.
