Great service for a Burns Night event
Great service…had another company cancel on me and with three days to my event, Rathbones delivered a crackin’ Charlie jacket and kilt for my burns night. Megan provided amazing customer service all the way through the return!

Good suit - one small issue
Good suit, timely delivery.
Only issue was there was (clean - thankfully) handkerchief in the pocket of the suit from a previous hirer.

The trousers where undersized
The trousers where undersized, could hardly do them up. The shirt was oversized, looked like I was wearing a tent. The tie was too tight and the compaband kept undoing itself.
Very disappointed with the product, service and ease of delivery very good.

As I said on the phone it's a shame the first time we heard from you was via trust pilot. We offer free size swaps on all suits. It would have been a pleasure to send out the next size up in the trousers and probably a slim fit shirt. I've asked for the accessories to be pulled aside when we receive the suit back. Apologies if they were damaged. Of course, we would have sent replacements had we known.
I hope you give us the chance to dress you for your next event. Give us a shout and we'll make sure you look the business. Best of luck for the year ahead.

Difficult delivery, good customer service
My first suit never arrived - so I had to do a lot of legwork to chase down customer service (they have no number to call)
However - once I managed to get a hold of someone they were helpful and shipped me a new morning suit just in time before the wedding. The suit was nice - and does run large, so get a smaller size than normal.

Main man Ottavio, thanks for leaving us a review. Obviously gutted your first ever trust pilot review was a 1 star for Rathbones Tailor. With nearly four hundred 5 star reviews it's important we try and understand where we've failed our customers to warrant a 1 star bad boy.
Good to chat briefly on the phone just now, thanks for giving me your time. It's a tricky one this. Our aim is to provide the best service possible at the most reasonable price, which we feel we do. Believe me when I say our pricing is with the customer in mind first and foremost. It would be fabulous if we could reduce our prices, the data suggests we would gain more customers. However it isn't possible with supply costs as they are.
You opted for our most affordable tuxedo option whose material composition is a wool/polyester blend. I fear this is what disappointed. If you were to hire from us again (I sincerely hope you do), then our Michael Kors tuxedo range is pure wool and so might be of a more satisfactory quality to you.
Whether you choose Rathbones Tailor or someone else, I hope this hasn't put you off rental completely. Drop us a line at help@rathbonestailor.com if you want to talk through any of the suits prior to ordering.
