First, the positives. The driver was very friendly and drove very safely.

Now for the planning:

I requested two days, three hours each day, without transfers.

Since the transfer takes about an hour each way, three hours doesn't make sense. The transfer should be charged separately, so about five hours total.

I received a quote for the two days. In the end, I had to pay extra for three hours; presumably, the transfer was included in the three hours. This borders on fraud.

I changed the start time in writing from 9:30 to 10:00. This was ignored. The car was waiting for us at 9:30 on the first day. The time was certainly calculated from that point onward.

We actually wanted to have closer contact with the residents of Zabbaleen and al Qarafa and film them, if they agreed. I explicitly stated this wish in writing. It was also ignored.

The tour guide came from a more affluent background. She seemed uncomfortable associating with garbage collectors.

She possessed a vast knowledge of history, but it was far too detailed for us.

At one point, she sat down on the only chair, and we stood before her like two schoolboys, even though we were several years older than her. We had never encountered such behavior on our travels before.

We had Real Egypt organize our 10 day trip: Luxor, Nile Cruise (partnered with Dahabiya Nile Sailing), Hassoan, Abu Simbel, Cairo

That was an incredible journey!

Seeing the pharaohs civilization by yourself if definitely something to do in a life. Our thousand year old ancestors built and leave us so much to see, that's astonishing and a lot of emotion.

Real Egypt organization + their partner Dahabiya Nile Sailing was a perfect combination to discover those marvels of antic Egypt, and also have a glimpse at the current Egypt life and people.
Our program was dense, but it is what we asked for: our planner Dina from Real Egypt was very interactive to prepare and adapt it to what we were looking for. Even when we added another attendee last minute to the voyage.
Sending remote bank transfers is a bit worrisome but finally we felt in absolute confidence on the organization, security, and also commercial relationship (for example, Real Egypt lowered the final price 1 week before we arrived).

Organization was perfect: guides chose the right schedules to visit in better conditions, avoiding the crowded times. You need to be ready to wake up early and adapt your lunch time to allow that though.

All the guides were highly skilled, attentive and friendly. And very professional!
Special mentions:
- Shaimaa was very clear, with the right level of explanation and a special care that we understood (Luxor temples and Valley of the kings). Joseph the driver drove very well.
- Mahmoud is an incredible story teller and organized the whole program during the Nile Sailing to make it the richest experience of culture, relaxing, social interactions
- Dhalia helped us understand well the Abu Simbel context before the visit (guides not allowed inside)
- Marwa in Cairo was highly engaged to make sure we could get all of our very dense 2 days in Cairo. Thanks for the family honey, we liked both flavors very much.

Highlights
- Antic Egypt: all we saw was memorable of course. Dashur site is absolutely worth seeing.
- Evening making bread with a family and dining in their house
- Breakfast in the village (Nile cruise)

Suggestions:
- Provide a kind of prospectus with main hieroglyphs, time line / pharaohs, small map, cartouches
- Day to Abu Simbel: the boat tour around Elephantine island in Hassoan does not bring much after the wonderful Dahabiye cruise. Also nothing to see at the dam (although historically). Phillae temple might have been better option to finish the day. We found the driver was too fast on the Hassoan/Abu Simbel road.
- Keep the snacks in the car, that helps modulate the lunch time and choose the better schedule for visits.
- Local fruits are wonderful, that would be nice to include some here and there.
- Airport helpers at departures are nice but not essential for experienced travelers - could be made optional

We used Real Egypt to arrange tours for 3 extra days we had in Cairo. They arranged a trip to Alexandria one day. Then two days in Cairo, including the GEM. They assigned us Amr as our guide for all three days and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Had a great experience and learned a lot.

Excelent agency. Everything went smooth and as offered. Since the moment I was inquiring for a 3 days prívate tour for a group of 8, I could realize they were what I was looking for. Omar organized our schedule very kindly and profesional. We needed a spanish speaking guide and Omar arrange it perfect. We used Real Egypt for a 15 day tour in Egypt. Dina organized the tour in a short time frame ( started planning in January and we went in March). Everything worked perfectly from our initial meeting with Mostafa in the airport on arrival to the drivers, the fantastic tour guides, the hotels and the amazing dahabiya on the Nile.
The company is eco- friendly and utilized visits to local villages to assist the economy of local people.
I highly recommend Real Egypt if you’re planning a trip to Egypt.

Recently went on the Alexandria tour with Real Egypt and it was an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Samir, is originally from Alex which made the experience so much better. He knew everything about the place from its history to all the cool spots. Shoutout to Mostafa, he was a great addition to the tour as well!

Side note: this was my third tour so far and I can’t help but notice Real Egypt’s consistency. It’s unlike any other agency I’ve dealt with. Every tour’s unique and their incredibly friendly and fun team make the tours so much better!

I've been dealing with Real Egypt for 3 years, very well organised travel agency, caring of all details and always show Egypt out of the beaten track. I highly recommend it for anyone would like to see the hidden gem of Egypt.
My tour was 3 days in Alexandria, a city on the Mediterranean Sea away from the hustle and bustle of Cairo. It served in old and modern history as a cosmopolitan city with different style of Greco-Roman monuments and modern Italian architecture style.
Among the interesting sites I've been to was the Library a modern library with an amazing building at the same location of the ancient one. Also there is a new opening for the Greco-Roman museum with a rich collection of that era.
As for the food, it was super delicious specially seafood that is served with Mediterranean recipes.
The city is considered to be a hidden gem that few of people know about it although it's worthy.

It was an amazing short visit to Cairo, although it was a last-minute booking but Real Egypt really planned everything and took care of all details.
We had a great time and I'm thinking of trying Dahabiya Nile Sailing next year I heard a lot about it and can't wait for join you onboard.
