The Steak Fingers and the Steak Patties are horrid. I would rather eat my dog's canned food than these. These two products are not fit for human consumption.

ROTTEN chicken burritos well before expiration, refunded then THEY opened a case on refund
ROTTEN BURRITOS BEFORE EXPIRED: We bought a package of chicken burritos, within a few days package (unopened) blew up like an overfilled balloon. reached out 11/26/24 (sent pics, did not expire for several weeks) & received this reply below offering refund by paypal. The same day a refund was received REAL GOOD FOODS opened a paypal case against me. (see below) HORRIBLE company, will leave reviews everywhere and never ever buy again. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Josh Schreider at real good foods opened a case stating someone used his account on paypal to refund me/unauthorized. It put a hold on my account. No reply to emails asking why they offered a refund, refunded and then opened a case with paypal on refunded amount.

So sorry about that again, and thanks so much for understanding and for the information! I’ll get reimbursement out to you as soon as possible. Please let us know if you don’t receive the PayPal in a 7-10 days so I can follow up. Have a great rest of your day.
WAY TOO SPICY!
First off, the word "Spicy" really should be listed on the package. I usually love General Tso's chicken from Chinese restaurants. Occasionally you do get it when its not prepared as good as with anything else. I had bariatric surgery 2 years ago and find a quick meal that is high in protein and low in fat, sugar, and carbs is hard to come by so when I saw this I was EXCITED to say the least and picked up 2 along with a lasagna bowl and Grande Chicken Enchiladas. I couldn't wait for lunch! Boy was i disappointed. First off, it looked NOTHING like the pic. The sauce is normally an orange color. This was more like a very thin, light brown sauce and there wasn't very much. It was WAY TOO spicy. Definitely enough spice to warrant it be labeled as such. I bought 2 so my husband can try the other since he likes spicy. I hope I have better luck with the other 2 meals I purchased. Highly disappointed.
Just bought a bag of chicken breast…
Just bought a bag of chicken breast chunks and it was all breading. 5-6 prices of actual chicken. They didn't respond to my texts and they're hotline says they're closed despite literally advertising on their bag that they're open to listen 24/7. I'll never buy from them again.
I used to enjoy supporting Real Good Foods
The company was heaven sent a couple of years ago. We were on low carb and the stuffed chicken product was great. Although the chicken product was more processed (not sliced and pounded thin) , it worked for us and the carb count was low with a variety of flavors. Eventually stores discontinued, or rather it wasn’t available on the freezer shelves. I noticed my local market was not replacing a particular variety a few months ago (or that was all RGF would send). Now they no longer carry and the freezer shelf has been replaced.
I cannot find the product in any other store. I’ve searched the Internet and Instacart.
All of the above is fine but my issue is the absolute lack of customer service. Their website indicates the contact method. I sent a text and did not receive a response by the following day. I texted 4 more times the next day without any response. I then emailed their posted email address sharing my text experience, along with my original question of, if they have discontinued the product. No response.
Communication is imperative for a successful organization. Even better if you not only respond to customers who have purchased your product but share on your website or emails if you have discontinued a product.
I have found a higher quality replacement. The product is somewhat costlier but the customer service and product is 5 star. I won’t support Real Good Foods and will share my experience with others.
Literally one of the worst frozen…
Literally one of the worst frozen dishes I've ever had. The chicken texture feels extremely processed, to the point where I even doubted it was chicken. The sauce is awful also... I still have an awful taste in my mouth after eating it an hour ago
'Real Bad' Foods Suspected
A careful read of the ingredients' label reveals sugar substitute erythritol as a principal ingredient in some of its entrees. Researchers say to AVOID until its potentially harmful effect (on the bloodstream) are confirmed or dismissed.
I use to love the Realgood chicken…
I use to love the Realgood chicken strips. I buy 3 bags a week. Recently the quality is terrible. I cook as directed but these chicken strips have a weird aah smell and taste terrible, almost half the bag is tuff and chewy with the ash flavor. What is going on? This is the first GF chicken strip that is low in calories and great for calorie counting but I cannot stand the flavor any more. Please fix this!
I purchased the Real Good nuggets
I purchased the Real Good nuggets, they looked good on the bag, They were the most unsatisfying nuggets that I have ever seen, could not eat them. I am still waiting on my refund since July 3 2024....I can't get anyone to respond to my emails now...
I am updating this is now January 2025, I still have not received a refund of my money and cannot get a response from this company....
I recently purchased the Lasagna Bowl
I recently purchased the Lasagna Bowl. It smelled wonderful, but that is my only positive comment regarding this product. The cheese was dry and grainy. The sauce was more like water than it was tomato. The visual is not appealing at all. There was no indication that the product in the box was the same as depicted on the box. The box claims layers of Chicken Parmesan Slices was included in the bowl. I failed to locate any Chicken. I'm sad to say I will never purchase another product by this company.
Yuch
Yuch. I really don’t like the enchiladas. The flavor is really off. I would rather eat cardboard than taste the sauce.
Tasty
Tasty, and, generally, healthier than most frozen dinner options. Not particularly cheap but within reason. I mix the lasagna or chicken bowls with frozen veggies for a more filling meal.
Used to be great
Used to be great, but now it's not like the chicken wrapped with bacon and stuffed with artichoke is even chicken. It dissolves in your mouth, no knife needed because it falls apart on the plate as well. I thought it was real chicken before and had the texture of real chicken, so not sure why they changed, but I'd like to return the ones I just bought because I find them disgusting.
The box advertised 24g of protein…
The box advertised 24g of protein in the meal (roughly half a chicken breast), the product I received had 4 small pieces of chicken (definitely nowhere near the amount advertised) and the rest of the space was filled with diced green pepper.
Probably is safe to assume the picture on the box won't be the experience for most of their products
Clean, good ingredients
Clean, good ingredients that are so easy to make! I love the variety of products they provide and how they are always working to expand their products.
RealGood Foods - Great taste and nutrition!!!
Awesome food! Awesome prices and amazing quality. The nutrition is a bonus!!! I have been purchasing for the past year and love all their products!!!
Been a fan for a while
Tried the burritos from Costco and they far exceeded my expectations. Filled with chicken and cheese. I had tried their stuff at Kroger and I love the sugar free Asian bowls so I thought I’d give it a shot. Everything is low carb which is important to me, but doesn’t taste bland like low carb food usually does. I want to try the chicken nuggets and strips next.
Fitness-Friendly Food!
Recently I started a new fitness routine and needed something I could prepare quickly while still hitting my macros. I found the Real Good Foods chicken nuggets and absolutely LOVE them, especially in the air fryer. Great company, great brand.
Fast and convenient
Fast and convenient, the array of delicious options makes it a go-to on busy or cooking-reluctant days, ensuring a satisfying protein intake. Amazing customer service as well

Ive been eating Real Good Foods for the last 5 years and they're literally part of my daily life. They've made staying on track for a busy single mom so much easier and helping tremendously on busy nights with the kids. Hard to find healthy frozen food and so grateful for these meals!
