Let's start by saying these bars were bigger than I expected. 15 x 7 X 2cm (yes I measured). There's a lot of it. Which, if you can find a suitable pocket, is a really good thing. I've just done a 5hr trail run using it as fuel and I was never going to run out. I ordered the taster box and opted to try the blueberry & hazelnut for my first run. Really tasty. Not too sweet that it gets sickly, not too bland that it gets boring. There's a decent texture too. It genuinely tastes and fuels like "Real" food rather than processed gels or some bars. While it's not actually a real meal, it's as close as you're going to get without stopping at a cafe. Definitely worth putting in your backpack for (very) long days.

Lots of calories in them so it is like they say a meal in a bar. On a £/Kcal basis they’re quite good value.

Used recently for ultra training fuel. 10/10. Tastes great, easy to get down, convenient to carry and no tummy upset. Will be using these going forward. Big fan!

I always have a few of these bars with me, whether out on a long-distance trail in the Scottish Highlands, bagging peaks in Eryri, wildcamping in the Lake District or taking on an outdoor challenge anywhere inbetween. They deliver when I need them too – no time for breakfast at a 5am start, at the foot of yet another peak, or 40km into a 60km day, I'll reach for one of these. Being calorie dense and nutritionally balanced earns them a place in my pack, even when packing ultralight. In my experience, some bars (and gels) get REALLY hard to eat when fatigue kicks in, but these RealMeal bars still taste good. Pink Himalayan Salted Caramel is my favourite, but the Double Expresso+Hazelnut bar is the one I keep at hand for early starts. I honestly recommended giving these bars a try.

I've used Real Meal bars for over a year now, they're great to have as a snack while out running as well as out on day hikes and wild camps. I also take them away with me while travelling with work, rather than spend a fortune in a coffee shop I know I've got something with me which is healthy and filling

The macros speak for it self every bar has 600 calories plus they are filling and they taste good perfect for long runs and even a pre gym meal in my experience.

I honestly cant go without these now, I will not go on a hike without one of these, they are the best snack I have ever had and I also have IBS and they dont even upset my stomach, cant reccomend these enough.

Easy to pack amd carry, full of flavour
And personally on a 3 day hike in perthshire carrying these bars meant indidnt have to pack half my kitchen.

I’ve been looking for a bar for the hills and have tried loads of other bars but there’s always been a negative (taste or nutrition) but not with real meal.

Purchased for long training days, but have been a saviour for long work trips and travel days where I'd have otherwise reached for an expensive / unhealthy meal deal. Thank you!

Back in August 2025, my wife and I completed the 'Great Norse Run', a 209 mile multi day run, crossing Iceland from North to South. We used RealMeal bars to supplement our dehydrated meals and to provide 'on the go' fuelling. They were easy to eat whilst on the move, taste great and easy on the stomach. We will be using RealMeal again for our upcoming 'Legion' challenge, 18.4 miles in under 6 hours with a 45lb load and also when we return to do the Great Norse Run again in 2027!

I recently came across these bars via instagram, looking at outdoor channels. They seemed great! 600+calories and packed full of protein and other nutrients. I have just come back from a multi-day back packing trip in the beautiful Scottish Highlands during winter, when fueling correctly makes all the difference. These bars definitely done what i needed! No carrying loads of nuts and other unhealthy foods that lack nutrition. These bars paired with decent dehydrated food are a power combo! Loads of energy through the day, plus the perk of  having a lighter pack! One downside for me is the use of rapeseed oil.. im not a fan of seed oils, maybe coconut oil would be a better alternative, however i will still be buying these again. 100% i would recommend these to everyone who is needing a bit of extra energy on trail. Every flavour was packed with flavour. The coffee one was definitely a favourite for the mornings. Take a surplus as they are amazing, and you will find yourself eating more.
