This company is a scam. They sneak a subscription in there when you order a bottle. They only go through this app called shop to make an order, which adds an extra layer of "insulation" to the company when you try to cancel or stop the subscription or an order. They keep charging my card even after I cancelled the subscription and the 2nd order. They send fake order documents to the credit card company trying to make it look legitimate and that "you" ordered the item. I emailed them back and forth, they told me if I recieve an order, to write return to sender on it and give it back to the post office. So I did. Then they re-charged me again! They claim they never recieved it, and they make it look like a legitimate purchase to the credit card company because they have a tracking number saying it was delivered! This is how they steal your money. They ship through DHL, DHL transfers it to USPS. USPS delivers it, then you send it back "return to sender" just like realmushrooms tells you to do to avoid charges. Then when you try to dispute it through your credit card, real mushrooms "proves" that it was delived and they claim that you habve the product. Meanwhile, real mushrooms got the product back, but they get to keep your money , and the returned product! Imagine this happeneing worldwide, how much money they make scamming people!
The only hope is to keep reporting the the Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau and leave as many detailed reviews as I can so it doesn't happen to someone else.

The delivery person mis-delivered an order from Real Mushrooms. I sent an email to Real Mushrooms, and the responded very promptly (within 24 hours). There was no hassle or inquisition type questions some companies put you through on a lost order. They were courteous and caring. They Instituted a replacement order, and they rushed the order so it was delivered very fast. Very impressive customer service rarely seen now. In addition, their mushroom product is exceptional. I only use supplements that physically deliver results. Their Lion Mane works.

I have several pesky autoimmune illnesses & my hubby has diabetes. Several years ago I started taking their turkey tail powder with my coffee every morning & my hubby started reishi. I don’t get celiac rashes anymore and the turkey tail regulates my immune system: it does not boost it as it’s already in overdrive from the autoimmune illnesses. This is key - it regulates my immune system, and I’m so thankful I found them.
My husband does not take prescription meds for his diabetes- he takes their reishi powder in his coffee every morning, watches his diet although not strictly, and walks two miles a day. His blood sugar is good!
Again, I’m incredibly grateful for Real Mushrooms’ high quality products.

I want to note that the other products received, including Reishi and Turkey Tail, appear to be of very high quality, and I am satisfied with the product integrity itself.
Inventory Discrepancy:
The core issue concerns the Lion's Mane Powder (60 Servings). The Best By date on this item is 12/2025. Since this is a 60-serving container, the printed date expires days after I received the item, which is unacceptable for a multi-serving supplement. This date is also inconsistent with other products in the same order, which carry a much longer Best By date (e.g., 02/2027). The practice of shipping short-dated inventory compromises the guaranteed duration of peak potency and value.
Customer Service (CS) Resolution Process:
I contacted CS regarding this issue.
1. CS explained that internal stability testing confirmed an extra year of shelf life (until 12/2026), but they could not guarantee a replacement with a longer date.
2. CS offered a full refund upon return of the product.
3. I informed CS that the product had already been opened before the short date was noticed, making a return for a refund unviable.
4. Given the failure in inventory management and the inability to provide a fresh replacement, I requested an alternative resolution: a credit for the Lion's Mane portion of my upcoming December subscription order.
Current Status:
I am disappointed that the resolution process has not smoothly acknowledged my perspective as a new, recurring customer. The final resolution regarding the requested subscription credit is currently pending.
Conclusion:
While the quality of the product is satisfactory, the company's failure to ensure a reasonable shelf life on the Lion's Mane product and the subsequent difficulty in reaching a mutually agreeable resolution is disappointing. I hope the company uses this feedback to improve inventory rotation and quality control practices.

My almost 14 year old dog (best friend) was diagnosed with Lymphocytic Leukemia Sept 2024. We decided to go the holistic route in terms of treatment vs chemo. I am thrilled. I adopted a six year old Standard Poodle two years ago that has severe food intolerances which results in yeast infections all over his body. I have exhausted every resource and vet recommended protocol that has been suggested. I have spent hundreds of dollars on allergy testing as well as eliminating certain foods from his diet. I cannot say enough positives about this company. I have been ordering from them not only for my husband and I but for our pets. I am giving my dear wife of 50 years the one each Turkey Tail and Lions Mane every 4 hours for Dementia and it has significantly helped her. I do not normally recommend any thing but this does work. Of course every one is different chemically but i would recommend this for anyone.
