don't expect to actually get your money
They won't actually give you your cashback. You'll do everything right, it'll track, then the hotel will mess up with charging you and they'll say 'sorry, they made a new booking, you dont get your money, but please keep using our service.' oh, and they deduct money from your balance if you're inactive too long.
edit the response below just repeats that same 'explanation' and acts like they can 'walk me through' correctly making a booking even though the issue was with the hotel not processing payment correctly and not with anything I did.

With travel, that means the original booking made through RebatesMe must be processed and completed as planned. If a booking is left unprocessed—such as when payment is not completed online—and a new booking is created on-site, there is no click history linking that new transaction to RebatesMe. Without that tracking connection, our hotel partners cannot confirm or approve cashback.

i had a great experience with rebate me the process was very simple and everything worked just as described i followed the steps and received my rebate without any issues it didnt take long and i appreciated how clear the instructions were if youre already making a purchase using rebate me is a smart choice ill definitely be using it again

RebatesMe cancels your rebates.
I use several rebate click through portals. Only RebatesMe has regularly cancelled the compensation. I kept wishing I had chosen a competitor like TopCashBack or others. Finally I got smart and deleted my account with RebatesMe and will convince others to do the same.
