Customer Service?
Customer disservice epitomised! Raised concerns regarding the authenticity of a product and was met with apathy, "up to' two months to verify despite being provided with photos of product including labelling and source of supply details, etc.

I TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEwick Essential…
I had a problem with Airwick Essential oils. I called customer service and was told they were sending me a replacement coupon. After 2 weeks I receive a letter stating that they wanted pictures of the product, and to complete an enclosed questionnaire, THAT WAS NOT ENCLOSED not to mention to put all back in a box with the enclosed pre-paid label..AGAIN THAT WAS NOT THERE
Too big to be bothered with their customers
Just trying to complain about a failing product, I find this is impossible. Seems RB have got too big for their boots. I'll be avoiding their products in future if there is no recourse for poor performance.

Complain to the manufacturer, Reckitt Benckiser?
You'll be lucky to find an email address for the company!
RECKITTS ARE A TRUSTED HOUSE BRAND NAME: y'think?
Reckitts have been selling 'trusted' products Dettol/E45 creams etc) in UK shops for many years. They have a sales income of c.£12bn. ie they are not a small company.
I am totally amazed that such a large co'y can receive this level of 'slagging off' by what seems honest folks, and yet Reckitts do nothing about it?
Suggest [someone,... maybe us consumers?], ditch this "Trust Pilot" method of complaint, and take to "Twitter"? to voice our concerns.
My whinge: Why E45 Cream (Dispensing pack] contents, I've been using for years (10) have suddenly [Sept 2019] become so, 'gloopy? almost too liquid, too 'watered down', seems to me, to use properly and safely, without squirting all lover me, companion, dog and the floor/carpet etc?
PS Reckitt have no 'email' address apart from new CEO - no reply.
Good luck with that!
ADDENDUM:
My sister and I, inpassing, have had an 'ongoing' 'battle-royal' about watering-down products like Dettol, E45 cream, dishwasher liquids, a few other items [whisky?]. She contends, from she had a BSc 'friend' (bio-chemist), BM, who maintained that, 'products are overly-concentrated' and no it didn't matter if one 'watered' down product as the efficacy would remain the same.' Moot?
But in the (E45) case, its a little too watered down for my liking.
I could go on about other products which have suffered similarities (Chocolate makers) cutting size of [packets] / reduced strength cough mixtures, visible strength reductions in many analgesics, in headache 'cures' and many other "Snake-Oil' remedies, etc. and so on. At the end of the day, I'm sure you have increased costs of production, salaries are high, rents escalating and so on, but kindly stick to allowing the product[s] to do 'what it says on the packet'... or go buy a bans factory - maybe a bad example (!)... go back to, I contend, 'poisoning us' by selling us eg. cola drinks, containing half a bag of sugar, crisps with 1/2 lb salt etc.
No company is 'indestructible' and lives forever.

Disgusted with lack of response and result
I used the vanish oxi action spray on an expensive jumper which complied with all directions for use. I have used this product on this garment before however the second time it ended up with yellow stains all over it and it is longer wearable. Not only did it take over 4 months to get anything actioned, all I received was a lousy $10 voucher which they clearly stated was out of good will!!!
Absolutely disgraced with the response time and what they have provided as their so called good will gesture.
First of all the mission statement…
First of all the mission statement clearly is false. We purchased
an Airwick candle from a local supermarket and lit it last December after about 30 minutes the flame changed from a steady flicker to a roaring flame of about 8'-10" in height and very fierce. I got an empty pan to suffocate the flame and when I did this the jar that the candle was supplied in disintegrated and burnt the table that it was on, I contacted R & B and spoke to their Property damage specialist, who asked me some questions and requested I send the candle back for analysis. I did this in December last year and have been constantly fobbed off and eventually was given the email for the Executive office for them to deal with my claim. Their is no surprise that I haven't had reply from them. We are now 5 months down the line. This company are disgusting and customer services does not exist in my opinion. My concern is that there are other images of this type of reaction on the same candle and it could cause a serious house fire and potentially the loss of life. R & B Get your house in order!!!
I used the E45 deodorant on my nine…
I used the E45 deodorant on my nine year old son, it came out like suncream even after shaking it for ages, he said it didn't feel nice, so I got some tissue to wipe it off, before I did that he said it was starting to burn, when I wiped it off, where it had been, his skin was bright red and inflamed. He said am I allergic to it?. I'm not happy!. I brought the E45 shampoo for myself and find it makes my head itch.
Product Lysol Power Foam Bathroom Cleaner/Soap Scum & Shine
Product: Lysol Power Foam Bathroom Cleaner/soap scum & shine 24 oz can. This produce has been my first choice of cleaning product for bathrooms.
However, the last 3 cans I have purchased have failed in dispensing the product. The first two stopped dispensing with 1/4 of the product in the can. I have considered that their was some malfunction and that this failure to dispense was just a one time occurrence. As I type, the last can has over half of the product still in the can and will not dispense.
I am not willing to risk purchasing this product in the can dispenser any longer.
I used Vanish carpet & upholstery stain and ruined a good carpet. Don't make the mistake of thinking 'Consumer Relations' are there to help you.
I used Vanish carpet & upholstery stain remover on a year old wool carpet (product states safe for use on wool carpets' and instead of removing the stain it made it far worse. The pale grey carpet now has a very visible dark grey patch where I used their product. Instead of trying to help and resolve the problem quickly with advice their Consumer Relations (UK) department first take several weeks to respond at all and then appear to deliberately try to trick you with the questions they ask. They then say you did not follow the instructions - in this case they stated - and I quote - 'From the discussion we had today and the questions asked, I can say that no compatibility test was carried out.' What they totally ignored (because they didn't ask) was that I had used the product on small stains on the same carpet previously without an obvious problem. So I had actually carried out a 'compatibility test' but did not use those words to describe it! I explained this later but they chose to not take that into consideration. They add insult to injury by stating 'Because the usage instructions were not followed as directed I am sorry to say this is actually classed as misuse of the product, so no liability can be taken by Reckitt Benckiser'. Misuse! I used it as directed with the intention of cleaning a spill on a carpet. Totally disgusted and will avoid purchasing any of their products again.
Vanish Fabric Stain Remover: WEAR GLOVES WHEN APPLYING
Vanish Fabric Stain Remover - works fairly well. It doesn’t quite get rid of many stains however. Even after 2 or 3 applications. But be warned. I hope to be able to post a photo... of burned fingers. There is no warning to wear gloves when tipping product onto stain, just to wash skin after. This is not enough and the product takes the surface skin off.
Poor service for loyal customers that have helped make their Finish product a success
Very poor customer service, I had been a very loyal Finish (products) customer for so many years where up ’til now I would never think of using anything else in my dishwasher.
I had a problem with a bag of their dishwasher tablets, and truly expected a simple sorry and replacement, but no, after contacting them 3 times, and 5 months later, still nothing.
Since waiting, and waiting...I tried the another popular brand, and guess what, they make great dishwasher products that works just as well (if not better) than Finish. So Reckitt Benckiser needn't bother now about this troublesome customer, and I’ll continue to use these other brand dishwasher products, and you know, just maybe; they might appreciate a loyal customer.
Dettol Bathroom cleaner: Buyers beware
Dettol Bathroom cleaner: Buyer beware
What a dreadful product and customer service team, or should I say the people that occasionally answer emails to their customer service team.
The so-called cleaning product stained the bath yellow and in a major way after testing the product on the back of the bath I proceeded to spray the stuff all over the bath which immediately stained it yellow, and yellow stains which won't come out.
The so-called Customer services team response was "not our problem" "Batch was ok" "Should have tested first" after several more emails back and forth they offered a £5 voucher for more of their very poor "cleaners" When I then asked for a contact in their legal department they just ignored my emails for 2 weeks.
Just awful for such a large company--more like dealing with a market trader.
Be very cautious with their cleaning products.

Just bought a bonjela cool mint gel, it was a ripoff paid £4.00 for at Tesco. Got a small tube with 50 percent air inside they should be ashamed of themselves
RB - Vouchers
Be aware if you call RB with a complaint about a product and they offer you vouchers, you will be waiting a long time. Complained about one of their Airwick aerosols not functioning after a couple of uses, the first Customer Service guy was very helpful and agreed to send me some vouchers. BUT, what he failed to mention was how long I would wait for them. 1st complaint on 31st July, telephoned after 2 weeks of not receiving the vouchers only to be told 'THEY COME FROM BARCELONA', and can take upto 6 weeks to arrive - WHAT!!!! Just called today 7th September and have been told they were sent 7th August, well they haven't arrived - so we are going to start again today with another lot being put in the post and I guess I'm up for another 6 week wait! I expect the plan is for the Customer to get fed up and say 'oh I really can't be bothered', well that's not going to happen - I want my vouchers. I have owned a property in Spain for 14 years and never has post taken 6 weeks to arrive, friends live in the USA and post usually makes it around 10 days!
the finish powerball quantum max are a …
the finish powerball quantum max are a pile of SH.T!!! I've been using them now for the last two months. i always rinse everything before it is put in the dish washer. these last two months of using ur product has been very costly because when the dish washer has finished 'cleaning' all the pots are still dirty and it has rusted my cutlery, knives and tongs! everything has to rewashed by hand!! (and yes b4 u ask/say the machine is filled with ur brand of salt, rinse aid then tablets) lots left of the tablets have gone in the bin!!! I'm never using ur brand again nor will i EVER RECOMMEND ur brand!!!!!!
Unsafe products and a liar untrustworthy customer service
I opened a claim two months ago, denouncing some defective products I've bought. After an internal analysis, the customer care department admitted trough email the presence of flaws in my product's batch (lot), offering to send me a reparative present.
pity that after some weeks I didnt receive anything. so I asked again and again the reason of this foulish behaviour. Now they stopped even answering me, customer care representative is just ignoring me. their way to work is this: taking time hoping you give up, also because you have wasted only little money, so it is unlikely that consumer will embark legal actions. Their policy is TO LIE, TO SELL DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS WITHOUT BE RESPONSIBLE OF THEIR FAULTS. it is a scoundrels company. Unacceptable behaviour, dishonest customer service, unsafe products. DONT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS
These are the culprits that produce Vanish....
I have used vanish on several items of clothing, various materials, different colours...Nothing. I can't actually decide what's worse, this or Cillit Bang! Strange to tell I think I've just discovered they are made by the same company.....Why am I not surprised? I would throw it away but there's garbage and then there's this garbage....But then maybe, with a bit of luck it might just....Vanish?
terrible product and customer service
I have up until now been using one of the above companies products , Cillitt Bang Bleach and Hygiene , and up until recently found the product to be good .
However , they have recently changed the trigger spray mechanism on their bottles and after using this for the first time , found it not only difficult to use as it clogged up every time , but it spurted out in different directions when it did unclog itself , and covered items that were not supposed to be covered , and have since damaged such items .
After complaint to the above company they stated that they were sorry to learn blah blah blah , and that they would compensate me by way of tokens to use on THEIR products !!!
I did say that I was not happy with their product so was not sure that I would like to purchase their product again but decided that as they are such a large organisation , that there would be a different product under their banner that would want to be purchased so agreed to their compensation
I was then told that this could take 3/4 weeks ?? , not sure why ?
some three weeks late i received their token/s ........ a £5 voucher to use in store on one of their products !!!
I did send an e mail reply saying that this was pathetic , but strangely they did not reply !!
I am refusing to use their products now , and in particular the one that caused the damage and stress
